Viel Spaß in Tokio!

"Top gelegenes Hotel / Wegbeschreibung"
"Good location"
We enjoyed our stay here, loved the Shibuya area and the hotel was only about an 8 min walk to the subway, yet still quiet.
"very happy"
I was very happy & thought specially the use of free wifi was very important. Also every one at the reception was really helpful.
"Close to train station and shopping district"
Didn't understand the map on the website, had to ask locals. Only a few blocks away from JR Shibuya Train and Subway stations. Room was cleaned daily and the front desk is 24/7 which was helpful. The double ensuite was spacious and had an internet port in our room. Free wifi in lobby as well. A few staff members didn't understand english too well so […] had to try our luck again when we saw other staff around. Overall very happy with our stay and location. Mehr

"Shibuya Tobu Hotel"
Great hotel in Shibuya. Short 5 to 8 minute walk up from the Subway. In a great part of town that is lively but quiet during the night. Great place to stay!!
"Good value hotel in great location"
Thought this was a great value hotel for the price. Staff friendly and helpful. Great location just up the hill from the main intersection of Shibuya. Things to be wary of are the fact that you don't have control of the air conditioning and that you might end up on a smoking floor. Our room was too warm for my liking, but not unbearable. Also, I think […] we were on a smoking floor. I'm pretty relaxed about stuff like that , especially considering the price, so didn't bother to ask for a different room. Not sure what the reception would have been like if I asked for another. Just something to be aware of if you are picky about stuff like that. You may have to go for a more expensive room package or hotel. Mehr

"friendly, comfortable and in an ideal location"
From mine and my girlfriends visit to Japan, the Tobu Hotel in Shibuya was my favourite hotel by far. The location is perfect and is in the heart of all the action in Shibuya. I was worried that it was going to be loud (being in one of the busiest areas in Tokyo) however I never heard a peep at night even though the nightlife was always bustling. Another […] plus was that it was only 5-10 minutes walk away from Shibuya train station. I've seen a few reviews saying it was too far to walk each time and took '15-20 minutes' but it really did not!!! it was an easy walk and hardly any distance away. On arrival we came a few hours too early due to our early flight from the UK and check in was meant to be at 2pm however because we were so jet lagged and tired the lovely staff at the Tobu hotel (who spoke good English) offered us our room a couple of hours earlier than scheduled. The rooms weren't massive but this is Japan, it was big enough and had all the necessities we needed. Always kept clean each day. The only thing I can pick on is the view outside our window of construction works but that wasn't really a problem for me. overall, I fully recommend the Tobu hotel! Mehr
"Great Location!!"
This was my second trip to Japan and wanted to stay around Shibuya this time. Tobu Hotel is a great location, about 5 minutes walk down the road from the Shibuya station....perfect!!
"Amazing value for a hotel in Shibuya"
Probably one of the best decisions of my trip to Japan was to stay in this hotel. The staff is extremely helpful and the location is perfect. I already miss it.
"Nice room in a convenient location"
Located about halfway between Shibuya Station and Harajuku Station, I stayed at this hotel for 6 nights in March. The staff was pleasant and the hotel room was nice. Despite the construction going on next door, not a lot of noise came through the walls.
"Shibuya Tobu Hotel, a great base for exploring Tok"
The Tobu Hotel at Shibuya is in a great location, just a few minutes easy walk from Shibuya station yet away from the crowds. Room was a good size (very big by Tokyo standards from what I understand) and had a full queensize bed. The staff were very friendly and helpful and a nice little treat is free kitkats at reception! You're only a 10-15 minute […] walk away from Harajuku and all of Tokyo is easily accessible viarail services. A great place to stay, would recommend it. Mehr
"Shibuya Tobu Hotel"
This convenient and comfortable hotel is only a short walk to the railway station and the famous Shibuya crossing. Great value place to stay. 4 STARS
"Convenient location but hard to find at first"
Shibuya Tobu Hotel is located 5-10 minutes away from Shibuya station. It is convenient to get to from Narita Airport via the Narita Express. Locating this hotel was a pain at first because no passerby could give me any proper directions. It's also located uphill so if you're carrying lots of stuff, it can be a pain to get to. Regardless, it is within […] the Shibuya and walking distance to Harajuku. My gripe is that it doesn't have wi-fi and the thermostat in my room didn't work too well. Otherwise, I would definitely recommend this hotel. My room was always spotlessly clean and it did help that the receptionists could speak English and offered useful information on travel around Tokyo. Mehr
"Excellent Location, uncomfortable pillows"
I stayed in this hotel for 4 nights. Upside: The location was excellent - 5min walk from shibuya train station. Near all ammenities, a stone's throw from the hotel. Walking distance to harajuku, omotesando hills if you like strolling (approx 15-20min walk). The room was very clean, decent in size by Japanese standards. We had no issues with staff. […] Fast check-in. The hotel was quiet at night and consisted of a decent (non-rowdy/rude) crowd. Downside: The pillow/bed was really uncomfortable. Both my friend and I suffered neckaches and did not sleep well. I would still recommend this hotel given the location and overall service/cleanliness. Mehr
"Location close to Shibuya"
Great location in Shibuya, within easy walking distance to JR Shibuya station. Hotel has seen better days and there is construction work going right next door, luckilly our stay was over the weekend. We did eat here as there are many cheap eating places nearby
"Tobu Hotel Shibuya."
We booked a non smoking twin room from Hotels.com. But when we return to our room after our dinner, there were very strong smell of tobacco. Other then that the room & toilet are bigger then most hotels in Japan. Will surely recommend Tobu Hotel to peokidskin travel without kids.
"a nice stay"
love this hotel, very close to the shibuya station, the room is quite small..well it's japan rite? no complain!! would love to stay there again next time :)
"Shibyua Tobu Hotel"
This hotel is in one of the busiest areas of Tokyo but it great. Easy to find and very pleasant english speaking staff. If i had to pick a downside it would be the view from the room-but it is a big city.
"Convenient Location,7 mins walk from Shibuya St"
Tobu hotel in Shibuya is small. But It's regarded normal size in Japan. Eventhough the room is small, everything is in perfect condition and working. On every floor it has vending machine opposite the lift. Receptionist is friendly and efficient. Would love to stay here again.
"top value for your bucks"
it's less than 10 mins walk from JR station and is only a minute away to everything (mcdonald, convenient store, uniqlo, etc). while the room is small (or standard in japanese term), it comes with double-size simmons mattress, a 32-inch lcd tv. the room is quiet and clean. we also get a discount on 6-night stay. excellent choice if your are bill co […] nscious! Mehr
"Shibuya Tobu Hotel is where all the action is"
The property is a standard business hotel. Rooms are small but clean. Location is perfect with all the major shopping establishment just a few steps away from the hotel. It is also a walking distance to Harajuku via Yoyogi park. It is about 10mins uphill walk from Shibuya station. No complains for the price paid to stay where all the action is. Would […] return again if in Tokyo. Mehr
"Great value for money & its location"
Great value considering its strategic location! But the room and its bathroom is very small. Room is a bit old as well but well with its location, you might spend ur time more out in the neighbourhood than the room :p
"Shibuya Tobu Hotel - Very convenient hotel"
I would recommend this hotel to anybody that want to travel within Tokyo and visit the many places that's in the Yamanote line (Shibuya, Shinjuku, Akihabara, Ueno, Tokyo, etc). It's only a 5 - 10 mins walk from Shibuya train station and it's very convenient. Many shops around the hotel too, and if you want, you can spend around 20 to 30 mins to walk […] to Harujuku too. Service for this hotel is good, there's wifi at the hotel lobby and everyone is friendly. This hotel is cheap and has a very good location as well. Highly recommended. Mehr
The rooms were small, even for Tokyo but it was comfortable and in a fairly convenient location. It's a bit of a walk (about 5-10 mins) from Shibuya Station but its not too difficult to find.
"Good location and good value"
1st time staying at Shibuya area. If you take the Narita Express, use the Hachiko exit. Note: You have to climb down a flight of stairs. If you have heavy luggage, there may be a different exit with escalators/elevators to get out of Shibuya station, then walk around to the Hachiko exit area to get your bearing to get to the hotel. Shibuya has many […] shopping and food places. Can even walk to nearby Harajuku / Meiji Shrine. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Stayed in a Twin room which is decent size for 1 person. Mehr
"Shibuya Tobu Hotel"
The hotel is about 7-8 min walking to the shibuya station north exit, but if you don't go out through the north exit, you may be in for a bit of a walk to the hotel. The hotel is 2-3 mins to the most lively section of shibuya, which provides anything you need late into the night, but its immediate surrounding is mostly office building, which makes it […] surprisingly quiet. We slept fine with our window open. I knew the room was gonna be small from the reviews but it is still smaller than I expected. Once you open a luggage on the floor, there's no more walking space. The bathroom is quite well-accessorized and had a deep tub, which allows a nice bath if you're up to it. The room is in general clean but I did see some dust building up near the ceiling on some walls. We had a room near the elevator but it was fine as the elevator dings were silent. The doors were also also very pneumatic so to speak. If you value convenience of a major train station, I'd recommend this hotel. Mehr
"great location, decent size"
I may not recommend this hotel to my parents because of the room size, but it is in a great location and is a decent size. I do have to mention I have lived in Tokyo for a few years and am used to the size. It's about 5min from Shibuya station and within walking distance to Omotesando and Harajuku. At the discount price (about half of the posted price […] on their own website), I think it was a great deal. I will stay again. Mehr
"No Air Conditioning!!"
Typical business hotel in Japan, slightly bigger than others but then slightly more expensive. Location is very good. However, one reason I booked this hotel is because it said it had air conditioning. This was very important to us as we knew Tokyo would be quite humid and stuffy when we went, which it was. There were a few buttons labelled "air con" […] in the room but when switched on all you get is heat. I complained about this and the staff told me that the air con is only a heater, to cool the room down you have to open a window! Not my definition of air conditioning! What makes the matter worse is that the hotel is in a busy area which means you will get a lot of noise coming through an open window. So we got an uncomfortably stuffy, noise interrupted sleep. Great! It is nothing less than a lie and false advertising that this hotel (or at least the room I stayed in) is listed as having air conditioning Mehr
"shibuya"
room are very small .no a/c and i ask them they say is the hotel rule that no air condition on oct ,i have to open room window and sleep with for a week this mess up. if you travel with more then 3 lugg get bigger room .
"Very good pick in Shibuya!"
We stayed there for one week and have really not much to complain about. It is not too far from Shibuya station (5-8 mins to walk) but enough far to have no street noise at all. Something was very important for us! The room was decent, especially the roomsize surprised us because we expected a claustrophobic room, which is the usual in Tokyo. One […] downfall was the AC which worked in a kinda strange way: AC on max heated the room up, AC low or off made it actually cooler, but not like a real AC; it just seems to stop heating. You can open the window only a little (doesn't help much but better than nothing); without having streetnoise. Would recommend and stay there again. Mehr

"Tobu Hotel in Shibuya, Tokyo"
We stay for 5 nights, excellent location, the staff was extremely accommodating and gave us a great tips about Tokyo. But the hotel has not WIFI internet even in the lobbi and this is was a problem for us. I will recommend this hotel to our friends and would stay again in the Tokyo area.
"Shibuya Tobu"
Great hotel. Compact, but had everything you needed. Terrific location. Less than 10 minutes to station. 2 minutes walk to Yoyogi park and great markets held at entrance to this each weekend. Hotel cleaned each day we went out. ICE machine on floor level. Couldn't really fault this hotel, except the window opened about 10cm to reveal a view of wall. […] Balcony would of been nice to come home to when your all walked out. But overall I would recommend this hotel. GREAT LOCATION! Julie H Mehr
"Everything you could want and more..."
Here's what you need to know about Shibuya Tobu Hotel. The location is perfect, and only minutes from Shibuya Station. The neighborhood is quite, upscale and walking distance from just about anything you could want. The hotel is older, but spotless. The front desk is as helpful as can be, usually with one English speaking clerk. The room is by all […] measures fairly standard for a business hotel in Tokyo. The room consisted of a bed, desk, bar fridge and bathroom. Small by American standards, but lacking for nothing. Housekeeping was great and the room spotless. It was one of the rare Tokyo hotels that I’ve stayed in that offered not only a queen size bed, but a non-smoking room. I really can't say enough good about the location though. If you've never been to Tokyo, Shibuya City is a great place to stay. If offers the best of Tokyo, easy subway access, fantastic food and some of the city's best shopping. If you were to ask anyone about Shibuya City they would tell you it was loud, busy and full of people 24 hours a day. While that's all true, the hotel itself is just minutes from all the action, but in a very quite section of Shibuya. I just can't say enough good about the location and the hotel. Mehr
"Good Hotel"
This hotel is situated in a fun neighborhood (Shibuya). It's very close to the subway station, and there are many things to do within the area. The only downside to this hotel is that it does not have wifi, which I know Japan is now known for. It would have been an added plus if they did.
"Shibuya Tobu Hotel-know how to get there!"
This hotel is very nicely located in the heart of Shibuya. The rooms are small, but clean. For the price you pay, you get about what you'd expect. No wifi in room, air doesn't work well, no minibar and the restaurant is not the best, however, being so close to Shibuya the restaurant doesn't matter so much. The biggest problem you may have is getting […] to and from the airport. You will take the limousine bus to a near by hotel and cab it over. To get back to the airport, have the hotel make your reservation for the bus. Mehr

"Tiny room worth the the price!"
The room was tiny...but then again, we knew that from the rest of the reviews. The staff was very nice and the location was just a short walk from the Shibuya crossing. The only bad part was the fowl smell of urine in the bathroom. Not sure if there was a sewage backup or what, but that was a definite drag. All in all, a great value and a great location […] for being in the heart of the action in Tokyo Shibuya district! Mehr
"Shibuya Tobu Hotel, Tokyo"
A really good location for exploring Shibuya. Room was small but this is to be expected in Japan. Very clean. Ticked all the boxes for our 4 night stay.
"excellent location + rates!"
best possible location! in the epicenter of it all in shibuya! i'll be back to this hotel for sure!
