Hotel was very nice--looked new, bed was comfy, etc. However, there were loud guests in the hallway and adjacent rooms at 3:30 am til about 5:00 am. My husband didn't sleep at all.

Everyone was very nice. Everything was clean & comfortable. We thought there should be more information of surrounding restaurants & shopping including maps. The breakfast was very good.

My room was supposed to be a King suite. What a joke! There was no extra room, no couch or chairs, and the beds took up most of the space in the room, there was barely enough room to get out of bed and go to the bathroom. Also the room was supposed to be sound proof but I was up til 3:00 am because of the loud party going on somewher in the holel room […] near me. Mehr

It was very nice except we expected it to have a restaurant as advertized on Hotel.com website but it does not have one.

people asking for cigs at lobby and in parking lot. wireless broken entire stay. car window next to our car broken in the morning. on edge of ghetto. pay a little more and stay downtown, only 5 or 6 blocks away, but a huge difference!!

We stayed here over the weekend, while attending a Bucks game. The hotel is in a great location in regards to proximity to all of the attractions and restaurants downtown. It was an easy walk to the Bradley Center. Parking is free which is a definite bonus. Hotel was clean, and the rooms are updated and modern. The only thing you need to be aware of […] is the location... it's in a more residential part of downtown. Lot's of noisy kids outside at all hours of the night, and many parties going on nearby. Maybe not the best place for a family vacation. For young people hanging out near the fun stuff, it's great. Mehr

Very pleased. I will stay there again. Rooms where nothing fancy but 42" Plasma TV wall mounted for comfy in-bed viewing, great shower with plenty of water pressure and and very nice complimentary breakfast of eggs, bisquits, sausage (no fruit) the best waffle I've had in years and plenty of juice and free coffee to go!

I thought it was a great deal for my buck. My only sugestion is they have two front desk attendants to assist with guest.

My sisters and I booked a two queen bed suite on a Wednesday night and could not have been happier. While the building is still undergoing renovation, the majority seems to be done and every employee bent over backwards to make even uncompleted areas pleasant and presentable. we never felt unsafe or uncomfortable. I took the train from Chicago and […] only waited a few minutes for the hotel van to transport me the few blocks back to the hotel. The driver (who ended up being the hotel manager, and attendant ( the regular driver) took a longer route to show me the downtown area and point out places of interest and dining options. I asked for an out-of- the -way, reasonably priced steak house and we were all thrilled with the recommendation.The van shuttle runs from 6 am till 3 am and they will drop you and pick you up from anywhere within a 2 mile radius, which is most of the downtown area, train station, shopping and dining. The bartender learned how to make the drinks anyone ordered and was a great sport and extremely personable. Breakfast was good and plentiful and the room was spacious, beautifully decorated , clean and comfortable. Every employee acted like an owner and took a special interest in anything we needed. Patrick, Doug, Juan and Bobbie were all exceptional and we can't wait to make a trip back. I think we'd hit the little bar even if we were only in the area for the day! Mehr

My girlfriend and myself stayed here on a trip to see a basketball game in the area, so I picked this hotel due to its proximity to the Bradley Center as well as price and free parking. When we got there we checked in (before 3pm) and we went up to our room that was given to us...and found it had not yet been cleaned. We returned to the front desk, […] they apologized and upgraded us to a king suite. The room is pretty new. There were flat screen tv's, the bathroom was nice and had an amazing faucet. The shower head was especially nice...and good pressure. There is a lounge on the main floor as well as a couple meeting rooms on the various floors...I could see parking being an issue if both of those were booked. One thing we didn't know til we got there was there is a shuttle from the hotel that will take you to various places in the area. For places within 2 miles its free and its varying prices to other attractions and locations in the area. (all prices very very reasonable) Overall the hotel was nice and very comfortable. The service was very quick and reacted to our issues and I would recommend this place to anyone traveling in the Milwaukee area. Mehr

The hotel was clean and well mainted. The close proximity to downtown without all the parking issues worked out also. The rooms are neat, clean and nicely appointed for the rate. Great for the business traveler or someone needing a few nights rest without a lot of fanfare.

The check in was great, as was the room. I didn't expect for the room to be as nice as it was. I've stayed in other days Inn & they were no where near as nice as this! The staff at the front desk for the most part is very helpful and polite. Easliy assessed wi-fi which is not common in most hotels these days and was free. The art in the room was my […] favorite part, it gave a little something extra to each room. The tides changed on the date of my check-out. It was about 8 a.m and the housekeeper knocked, obviously I was sleep, it wasn't until she tried to open the door that I woke up and realized someone was there. I ran to it to tell her I'm still in here. She then asks me if I plan to check out at noon, the normal check-out time, and i said yes. What ticked me off is that I had the "Do not disturb" sign up and they still felt the need to ask if i was checking out at check-out time. I then went down to the free breakfast because I couldn't get back to sleep after that. They had eggs, sausage, biscuits, make your own waffles, cereal and lots more. I was really puzzled I've never had that happen & it seemed like they were rushing me out of my room! Next I'm waiting to be checked out & the guy behind the desk was talking to some previous customers I assume had just checked out b/c I overheard asking for directions. So once their 10 minute conversation is done he then turns to me to tell me to hold on while he takes a call. Granted he didnt stay on the call long but how rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional that made him look and definitely changed my view of the establishment. The final straw is when I get home which gave me ammo to write this review. I was charged twice for the room. I was livid mainly at the hotel because I feel like the guy who checked me out didn't pay me enough attention that the room was pre-paid so he ends up charging me twice. Very discouraging to go back after such series of events occurred after a great stay. They ruined the whole experience Mehr

We were impressed with the up-to-date decor. Our room was comfortable, spotless, and quiet. I was sad we were only staying one night this time.

This is apparently an older hotel located in a "neighborhood". The condition of the hotel was not the best but you could tell there had been recent upgrades to the rooms and bathrooms. It was small and not what I would have picked had I had more time to prepare and had seen the propery ahead of time. HOWEVER, what the hotel lacked in location and physicality […] was purely made up for in the service and the disposition of everyone we met. The people working there wore many hats and everyone greeted us and our requests or questions with a smile and hello. The shuttle was this severely raggedy van but the friendly staff clearly had no problem taking and retrieving you from almost anywhere nearby. All in all it was a decent experience for a short stay. The Good: The hotel was close the places we needed to go downtown and to the aquarium. The staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was well stocked The OK: The accommodations were adequate, the beds were comfortable enough. The shower water was good, but the door leaked and there was no tub. The Hrmmm. I am not normally a Days Inn fan but this hotel was remodelled with up to date everything! I woud stay again everytime and it was a great value!

I really enjoyed my stay here. Staff very friendly, particularly the front desk manager. Very clean except for some stains on a chair in the room. The location is not within walking distance of downtown but if you have a car, there is free parking and it is a short 5 minute drive. Adequate free breakfast.

Very nice hotel for a decent price. I loved it!

Upon arrival we were greeted by the concierge. She was quite friendly and welcomed us to the city. The hotel was very well kept. The room we stayed in was very satisfying. The bathroom was very clean. They have great pieces of art throughout the hotel. Right behind the hotel you can view into the backyard of houses. Clean rooms, great staff, quick and convenient shuttle services. I will definitely stay again

The hotel is great except for the fact that it is in the middle of the ghetto and the staff seems to be ok allowing "the community" to hang out in the lobby.

after the initial shock of finding out that Lapham park was part of downtown, I was great surprised and impressed with the days hotel. from the artwork to the new design I was impressed from top to bottom. the rooms are very clean and comfortable and the service was outstanding my only complaint was the key cards were very cheap and constantly needed […] to be reprogrammed. overall it was a very good stay. I would recommend to my friends. Mehr

This hotel was clean, comfortable, the fitness room was perfectly suitable for a quick work-out, and the breakfast was fantastic! I'm going to stay here in the immediate future (already booked a room!) and in the distant future as well.

I stayed in a suite for the first time on this visit (I've stayed in non-suite rooms on previous visits). the microwave, extra sink and fridge were a great addition. As always the staff and service were above and beyond expectations. The van remains a great convenience.

we had a delightful time and the staff was wonderful, breakfast was great we would stay there again.

This is my preferred stay when I am in Milwaukee on business. They pick you up at the airport, are incredibly friendly and accommodating and my experience with the shuttle was exemplary. We stayed here for new years eve to go to the rave downtown. Staff was very friendly and the best part was they had a free shuttle to the club! I even called at 3:30a to see of the shuttle was still running and they came and got us! Driver was also great! The hotel was also very clean and comfortable! It was nice having a hot breakfast provided AND a taco bar when we got back from our New Year's Eve activities! The "Queen" beds seemed so small... !

The hotel and room were decent but several things could've been better. We had to wait a long time to be checked in because there was only one person at the front desk. The rugs in the lobby were ripped and rolling up. I tripped on one of them. There was garbage and a huge pile of dirty towels in our hallway on the second floor. Our shower head was […] broken and water sprayed all over the bathroom. The room was clean and quiet. One major thing that was weird to me was that there were several mattresses stacked up outside the lobby/ check in area that were partially covered with a blue tarp. A pretty big eyesore. For the price this is a great little place. The immediate neighborhood is still going through some revitalization and is probably not the best for walks in the night. But the hotel is very well kept, the staff is pleasant and competent, and the manager Patrick is very helpful. They even have a cute little bar inside. the neighborhood not the best. was uncomfortable leaving at nightfall.... carpet looked dirty. hall carpet coming up ...... couldn't wait for morning to leave will never stay there again

Friendly, helpful staff. Free shuttle to anywhere within two miles. Nice breakfast included.
