Hilton Garden Inn Oxford/Anniston - Oxford

The staff (all, day/night/restaurant etc) were the nicest and most professional of any place I've been, and I am a world traveler. I don't know if it is the way folks are in that area, or if it is corporate training they all seem to have taken to heart, but the employees made this the best hotel stay ever, and I was quite pleasantly surprised.

Great place. The staff was super friendly and the hotel was in excellent condition as well as reasonably priced.

This is a great hotel for the money. Nice interiors and furnishings. Nice breakfast available. Bar open in the evening/night. Hotel staff was friendly. Rooms are nice and lots of electrical plugs for your gadgets. The hotel is situated alongside 5-6 other hotels, with a Crackel Barrell, Waffle House and gas stations nearby. Anything else will require […] a short dirve. My only complaint was the room lighting. I guess that they switched to energy efficient bulbs to save money and respect the environment, which is fine for the sleeping part of the room, but terrible in the bathroom when trying to get ready. The hotel is convienient to most area retail and Resturants and has easy access to I20.

Clean and comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. The staff was very helpful and friendly.

I went to Oxford with a buddy of mine just so we could get away for a night. The hotel workers were great!! The hotel was amazingly comfortable and the pool area was extremely clean.. The only down side is we went on a Sunday which means you can't buy alcohol anywhere.. There was a local private bar called AJ's that was awesome!! We spent like 6 hours […] in there with the locals. If you go asked for Chris or Brandon... Christ will pull up a chair and sit a while with you.. Mehr

I have been to Alabama many times for family reunions, by far this was the best hotel in the area I am a very picky person and can't just stay sleep anywhere. The hotel was clean,posh and comfortable just they way my family likes it. The children enjoyed the pool too bad they don't have an outdoor one as well we are from up North and love being outside […] whenever we get the chance. Will stay here as long as they keep it updated and nice. Mehr

I was completely impressed with the Hilton Garden Inn. When you walk through the front corridor you feel like you've walked into a Resort, with the double-fireplace and sitting area to the left and a restaurant to the right with a fabulous menu to order from. The staff was friendly and very accomodating to every need. The beds were absolutely dreamy […] and comfy/cozy. CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN!!! Smelled wonderful because it is a SMOKE-FREE hotel! The indoor pool and spa was quite relaxing! Great Plus for hotel would be there are plenty of restaurants and shopping within walking distance and possible short 2-minute drive. The only negative for my stay was that it wasn't long enough! Highly recommend this hotel to everyone! Mehr

Wonderful service! Excellent room. The only downside was the breakfast. It is quite expensive. A free continental breakfast would have been preferred. Overall one of the better hotels I have stayed at!

Great location.

Beautiful room, but the bed had a control on it for firmness or softness and it just was really uncomfortable. The hotel is beautiful, clean and wonderful staff, but I left behind my beloved ipod touch and they said they never found it. It just put a bad taste in my mouth for them. I would definately recommend staying at this property. The furnishings are modern, clean, and comfortable. The hotel staff was extremely professional and courteous. The hotel is located within walking distance to several nice restaurants. There is a full service breakfast and bar on site. I would stay here again!

Stayed with my wife while visiting the Women Army Veterans' Association Headquarters at Ft. McClellan. She is currently the National President of the organization and had her Executive Board Meeting at the Headquarters. This was a very clean, well kept Hotel. Everything in the room was very maintained and in place. The Hotel looked and felt brand new.

I love the hotel --- beautiful accommodations - my stay was just too short!!!! I would like to definitely return soon!!!

This hotel is the best in the area. Everything about it has been perfect every stay.

Hotel was almost new and the total experience was excellent. Don't understand current three star rating. The only thing I would change would be to make breakfast complimentary like much of the competition has done.

The indoor pool is nice to have if it's raining outside, but the pool is really small. Five people in the pool would be too crowded. Gym was nice for a hotel. We had a pleasant stay and would definatley stay there again if we came back to the Oxford /Anniston area.

At the Oxford exit, every hotel sits at around the price range of this one. I have spent time at all of them and this one is by far the best of the bunch. The pool, whirlpool area is the best on this exit.
