Very nice room. Courteous staff. Loved have kitchen in room so I could prepare meals.

Excellent hotel & great value. Many retail establishments around the area, convenient access to the airport; would definitely stay here again. Hotel is clean with convenient features such as stove, refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, desk, coffee pot and large screen TV. Very roomy and great rates.

We had a total of 15 family members all at once here. The staff made sure we were all together. When we asked for towels they didn't just give us 1 or 2 they gave us atleast 6. Great place to stay. Full size fridge, small two burner stove and microwave, made it cheaper to feed the crew. Elevator did go out once but they were already working on it before […] we could make it down the stairs. Pool was great. They have a BBQ with utensils outside by the pool. Not any great views but super convient to HEB, and Sea World. We plan on staying here again! Mehr

The hotel is a very nice place, and the employees were very friendly and helpful. Constructive Criticism: There was no vent in the bathroom. After showering you couldn't see in the mirror. Was very pleasant & have no complaints. They don't have daily housekeeping but had no problem with that because you knew that no one would be in your room while you being gone all day. They do however provide you with as many clean sheets, pillows, or towels as needed. Great distance to Seaworld but you do travel a lil bit more for riverwalk but we […] would definitely stay again!!! Mehr

this hotel is awesome we stayed for a week and we grilled and cooked it was great to save money from having to eat out i will be back soon to this hotel the neigbhorhood was awesome felt very safe. when we come to san antonio or any were we will find a candlewood to stay at.

Good location, hotel is worth what you pay for. For a 2 star hotel it is a good deal, still new everything looks clean however, it has a funky smell and ac in room was freezing cold, blow dryer didn't work , queen size bed was too small . Overall a fair deal for price charged

For the price I think the hotel was good. However, the room I was given was not made up - the desk clerk was great and went up personally to check that the next room was ready - Other than diary queen there was not a place to eat. Next day given excellent directions to the medical center which avoided all the heavy 1604 traffic.

This is an excellent hotel, it's quiet, staff is very friendly and helpful! It was my second stay here and I will return again and again. My room was very clean, the fridge was clean as were all the utensils that were available in the cupboards. They let you check out movies at the front desk too.

I made reservation for 2 beds, when i got there they told me hotel was over booked & they did not have a room with 2 beds for me. He suggested a roll away bed which was not an option for me. The attendant then was nice enough to agree to give me 2 rms for the same price. Problem fixed! But in the morning at about 8:30 we heard the cleaning ladies talking […] and laughing in the hall so loud they woke us up. After opening the door & letting them know they were way to loud, we got to sleep. Mehr

I recently stayed here for a spring break weekend with my wife and kids. The receptionist was wonderful and helpfull at my arrival...but it stops there! I got to my room that had the amenitites listed. However, I spent the rest of my day and night listening to kids running in the hall and yelling. The rest of my night was spent listening to the coversation […] and TV viewing of the people on both sides of me. The walls were SOOOO thin!!!! I called the front desk to get those people out of the hall and they went to their room. Unfortunatly, they were in the room next to me and NOTHING changed....I could still hear EVERYTHING. Aside from the thin, unisulated walls, there recently was a leak in the showere that was patched over, poorly, and never repainted. The stains from the water leak are still around the wall and baseboards. Lastly, this Hotel is on the left side of a Holiday Inn Express...not next too...Within HIE parking LOT!!! It seems that the owners of these two facilities are related and LIVING IN THE HOTEL!!!!! DO NOT COME HERE!!! Mehr

Nice Hotel, Friendly Staff, just opened this year, my only issue is that upon checking into the room there was what appeared to be dishwashing detergent (the powdered kind on the floor by the dishwasher), and the tub had a couple rust stains, I notified the front desk clerk upon leaving of the two issues so they could be resolved. Great hotel for those […] visiting the San Antonio area to go to Sea World only about a ten to fifteen minute drive to get there. Would stay again! Mehr

My family stayed here for 4 days and enjoyed every minute of our visit. Gloria was very helpful with directions and questions to navigate San Antonio. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. We look forward to staying there again!

Wow! Outstanding from the moment we checked in, to the moment we walked out the door. Clean, clean , clean! Quiet! Very comfy bed, and an unbelievable rate!Tons of restaurants and excellent shopping about three minutes away. THIS is the place. Book it!!

We chose this place based on reviews here stating that the hotel was new and close to the Downtown Riverwalk. It is brand spankin' new, so everything is clean, beautiful and in working order. The desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area has a BBQ grill which a guest was using while we were there...he said it worked great. But whoever […] wrote that this hotel is near downtown is out of their mind. It's not too bad...a good 20 minute drive with no traffic...but it's definitely not walking distance. All in all, I'd recommend it and stay here again. Mehr

We had a difficult time finding the hotel because the GPS didn't recognize the street. Called the hotel and they gave us a different address to use. The hotel is that new that the satellite doesn't recognize the street. One problem was that the curtains didn't close all the way so the light came thru all night. The lack of full curtains might be a problem […] when the Holiday Inn is completed too as the floor levels are the same. Other than those 2 issues, this is a great place to stay whether you are alone or with family. You walk into the kitchen w/ a full size fridge, microwave, dishwasher and stove top. In the cupboard we found the toaster and some dishes. They also have a toaster oven that you can sign out to use. The bathroom is spacious. We had a room w/ 2 "queen" size beds. Not sure if they really were "queen size". We also had a leather recliner in our room. TV, DVD player and the table was for 2. There were dvd's at the front desk that you could sign out (or Redbox at Valero and Walgreen's). The fitness room was extremely nice. Washer and dryer use for free. The outside grilling area was next to the pool and was frequently in use. The pool was very nice. Would change to "no smoking" by the pool/ grill area and post it as such. We had to leave the pool/ deck area because someone was smoking by the grill. About 15 minutes from SeaWorld. Would definately recommend. Mehr

We chose this location to be close to Sea World but found it was also close to downtown and the Riverwalk. Would stay again!

This hotel is brand new. We loved the fresh paint and carpet smell. We traveled with 5 children and we saved a ton of money with the kitchen in the suite. We were within 10 minutes of Sea World. The hotel staff was amazing. The only thing we didn't like was the internet. The wireless signal was non existent. We could only log on wirelessly if we set […] the computer on top of the refriderator and then it was very slow. When we asked for a ethernet cable we didn't get it for two days. But the room was awesome and in a great location. Mehr
