Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe der EXPO. Da wir ein Auto dabei hatten, war mfür mich der kostenlose Parkplatz direkt vor dem Hotel super. In anderen Hotels in BUD musste ich immer bis zu 16 EUR zahlen. Dafür ist man hier etwas abseits, jedoch in ca. 10 minuten mitten in BUD. Das Frühstücksbuffet entsprach den Erwartungen. Auswahl an Eierspeisen und Wurst war besser als im Mercure. Und das beste, hier noch alles inkl. Auf dem Dach gibt es auch noch einen WellnessBereich. Hier der Abstrich, die Sauna wurde leider erst am abend angeschaltet und der Jacuzi war leider abends um 7 immer noch auf 29 Grad. DIeser wurde zwar an diesem Tag gereinigt, doch dies hätte man auch am Vormittag machen können, so dass am Abend dieser auch zu benutzen ist! Ansonsten, tolles Hotel. Ich werde beim nächsten mal dieses wieder buchen. TIP: LH hat mir dieses Hotel schon mal angeboten, als mein Flug leider nicht zurück nach FRA starten konnte

Das Hotel hat eine Top-Lage in der Innenstadt. Das Haus ist sehr schön restauriert. Der Restaurant- Bereich ist besonders schön im alten Stil hergerichtet. Am Frühstücksbuffett ist für jeden etwas zu finden und bis zum Schluss wird alles aufgefüllt. Die Zimmer sind gut. Allerdings war der W-Lan Empfang im Anbau schlecht. Ein Netzwerkkabel gehörte auch zur Ausstattung. Der Wellness- Bereich ist sauber und gut. Alles in allem ein Super- Hotel, um die Stadt zu erkunden.

Großes, schön eingerichtetes Hotel, zwar etwas Abseits gelegen und die Umgebung ist eine einfache Wohngegend. Dennoch reizvoll direkt gegenüber der Margareteninsel und man ist schnell bei den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Bezahlbare Parkplätze vor dem Hotel sind ein großer Pluspunkt in Budapest.

Lage: Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Hauptbahnhofs, in einer etwas ruhigeren Seitenstraße und ist relativ einfach zu finden. Die Stadt-Busse fahren fast direkt vor dem Hotel vorbei, so dass man diese wunderbar für die Fahrt in den Stadtkern nutzten kann. Die Tickets konnten wir direkt im Hotel kaufen. Hotel: Das Hotel macht schon von Außen einen sehr schönen und gepflegten Eindruck und auch der Empfangsbreich sowie die Aufzüge und Flure alles super sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Die Empfangsmitarbeiter waren sehr nett und man konnte alles auf Deutsch erledigen. Zimmer: Die Zimmer waren sauber, nur im Bad waren ein paar kleine Stellen, die noch genauer geputzt hätten werden können und die Dusche hätte von Außen eine neue Fuge benötigt. Aber die Dusche im innreren und die Amaturen waren sauber und in einem ordentlichen Zustand. Das Bett war super bequem und auch sehr schön groß! Der Ausblick aus unserem Zimmer im obersten Stockwerk war sehr schön. Das Zimmer war sehr warm, da wir die Klimaanlage nicht zum laufen gebracht haben, aber wir haben das Fenster zum Balkon geöffnet und das war dann sehr angenehm. Schwimmbad/Restaurant: Haben wir beides nicht benutzt und können dazu nichts sagen. Frühstück: Die Auswahl war umfangreich, viele frische Früchte und Müsli, verschiedene Brote, Wurst und Käse. Auch warme Speisen. Es war für jeden etwas dabei. Tiefgarage: Wir haben den Tiefgaragenplatz genutzt, weil unser Auto ziemlich neu ist. Leider ist die Abfahrt in das zweite UG ziemglich eng und steil, so dass man vorsichtig fahren bzw. sein Auto gut kennen sollte. Aber ansonsten ist die Garage sehr parktisch und sauber. Abschließend kann man sagen, ein sehr schönes Hotel, in dem wir immer wieder übernachten würden, da es uns vor allem auf die Qualität der Betten sowie die Sauberkeit der Zimmer ankommt und diese unseren doch sehr hohen Anforderungen gerecht wurden. Super Lage nur einen Katzensprung bis zur Fußgängerzone, auch diverse Bars und Sehenwürdigkeiten sind direkt zu fuß erreichbar. Das Hotelpersonal war sehr zuvorkommend, Zimmer pikobello sauber...und sehr groß.... Frühstück sehr reichhaltig und frisch... Perfekt echt und das für den Preis! Ideal für ein Party oder Sightseeing Wochenende

Ich hatte ein Zimmer, dass in den Hof schaute, somit kein Problem bezueglich der befahrenen Strasse vor der Tuer. Das Hotel liegt sehr Zentral und in gehweite von bekannten Treffpunkten. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und das Fruehstueck umfanchreichen. Gratis Wifi und einen gemeinsam genutzten PC mit Internet sind ein plus.

Beim Eurostars handelt es sich um ein neues, gut gelegenes (nähe Astoria / Elisabethenbrücke) Hotel. Zimmer sind gut ausgestattet und sehr sauber. Die Empfangspersonen waren leider alle sehr unpersönlich und redeten nur das Nötigste. "Schönes Hotel in bester Lage"
Das Hotel liegt inmitten von Budapest, man erreicht somit viele Sehenswürdigkeiten zu Fuss. Das Hotelzimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet, modern und sauber. Auch das Frühstücksbuffet war vielseitig und ausreichend. Ich war sehr zufrieden, das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmte. Einzige Kritikpunkte: Überteuerter Taxiservice zum Flughafen (ist billger, […] wenn man sich selber ein Taxi sucht - hat ja genügend in der Umgebung). Und die Sauna war nicht in Betrieb. Mehr

The hotel might be reasonably priced but thats because the breakfast is poor and there is no real dining area just a poor cafe that you would not want to sit in for long. We had a bad experience because they did not attempt to clean the room before 5pm and that was whwn we wanted to get ready to go out early.....as a result our room was not cleaned […] for two days. The facilities are just not up to standard outside the room (which if cleaned is pleasant). No dining area, no real sitting area....a building of bedrooms.....so don't epect much else. Mehr

it is a suggestion: could you put the water heater in the room. We can not have coffee or any hot water in room. The room service a little bit late

Right in the city centre, close to restaurants, bars, the Danube and other sights, and the shopping area, Eurostars is in a great location. It is clean and inexpensive, with friendly staff. One problem: I had pre-paid through Hotels.com and had no additional charges. However, on check-out they asked for payment for phone use, and for breakfast. I had […] not used the phone, and did not have breakfast there. I convinced them that I had no extra charges, and eventually they agreed. This seems to be a Budapest 'thing'. First off, we had a hard time finding the hotel since our GPS could not locate it. It is VERY central, but in the dark, it is not well lit or marked. We ended up calling the front desk, and they were very helpful directing us to the proper location. My advice - find the hotel online before trying to find it in your car. . . . or take a cab. I would have asked for another room, but my husband did not want to inconvenience anyone. Our shower head kept falling on our head when we were taking a shower, but we just sort of laughed it off. "Boutique Hotel Zara was excellent"
This hotel exceeded my expectations. The location was fantastic-close to Market Hall and Geller baths. Most sights were within walking distance but close to Metro. The desk clerks were always cheerful and eager to please. The young ladies in the breakfast room were cheerful and were constantly checking on the food bar and replacing items as they ran […] low. By European standards my room was good size and bath was large. Closet space was adequate. I hope to return and stay here again.All of these made for a wonderful Christmas experience Mehr

We loved this 5 day break over Christmas 2011. We had read all the reviews and some of them are frankly wrong. We were totally happy with the room, the service, the breakfast buffet which had everything you could want and the staff were totally accommodating. We would definitely go again.

Stayed here as I wanted somewhere close to the centre. Pleasantly surprised at quality of accommodation. Thoroughly recommended - particularly if you can get a good rate.
Pros: very comfortable clean room, beautiful bathroom, polite receptionists, good location, close to the metro Cons: It was 25C at night what we found too warm as we could not turn down the heating. However this was not a big problem as we could open the window.

This hotel was in a good location and easy to walk to most sights. The staff were extremely helpful and our room was absolutely lovely, quiet, roomy and very clean and modern. The breakfast was good with a great choice of food. I cannot fault anything about the hotel although there is one tiny thing and that was the volume on the TV. Breakfast ranges from scrambled or boiled egg, various cold meats & cheeses, cutting bread/rolls, loadsv fruit & yoghurts, fabulous coffee maker good choice of teas. Choccy […] donuts, loadsv pastries oh, plus cereals too! Rooms cleaned daily, plus there is a hair dryer and shaving mirror in bathroom with a double socket next to mirror, perfect for the straighteners & make up! Eurostar Hotel is in a prime location with easy access to main sights, shopping and underground tram. Hotel was clean with friendly staff, however, as we chose to sleep in almost daily, despite telling the room cleaner and reception to not bother cleaning the room she did anyway and took it up on herself to remind us of the time by slamming all of the […] doors around our room. We were allowed to check in around 9:30 AM immediately after our taxi ride from the airport. The staff was always very helpful and spoke excellent English. We had a slight problem with the shower which wasn't fixed immediately, however, the manager compensated us for the inconvenience. The location is excellent and within walking distance to everything […] on the Pest side. Getting to the Buda side is also easy from the hotel. I would definitely stay there again. "Very comfortable & convenient"
Hotel is located just 2 minutes from Elizabeth bridge - very convenient access to metro, tram or to walk around the city, so location is top class. The hotel sells itself as minimalist, and sometimes that can be a deterrent, but I found the quality of the room very good. The Room is reasonable size; the double bed we had was huge and very comfortable. […] In addition, there is a chair and a table on which rests the TV - there is also a fridge in the room. If you want to watch TV, you only get BBC, CNBC and 1-2 other English news channels - rest are in Hungarian. No iron or tea / coffee maker, BUT we asked for the latter and they brought a kettle and some instant coffee sachets + sugar/milk. We had no view, but the other side of the hotel faces the main road so preferred this, although from the breakfast area we got a feeling that noise was not an issue even on the main road side. Decent amount of closet and table space within room. Internet worked quite well - it was free - I called reception and got the passcode and used it on my IPAD - speed was more than enough for browsing - did not try streaming any video. I thought the room overall was fitting of a 4 star hotel other than the minor adjustments such as TV / Tea coffee maker. Bathroom is FANTASTIC - not huge, but comfortable size with a very powerful shower and top quality fittings. No lock on the bathroom door. Breakfast is standard / sufficient - cereals, fruit, croissants, donuts, scrambled eggs, cold meats, juices and tea/coffee. Long breakfast hours are very helpful if you are on holiday and plan to wake up a bit late. Service in the hotel is quite good - appear friendly and helpful and 30 minutes after we checked in they knocked on our door to make sure everything was to our liking. Restaurant / bar closes by 11 PM though there are other spots near the hotel where you can easily get a meal / snack till quite late. Getting to the hotel is very easy from the airport. Our first night room was situated against main road and was noisy due to traffic and street light lit the room but at our request was moved to the other side of Hotel for balance of our stay. Eurostars Budapest Center is just one subway stop away from the main train station and a 5 minute walk from the Danube. In addition to its great location, the hotel is splendid in every way: Great breakfast, gym room, professional laundry service, Internet throughout the building, a bar that opens late, and a very helpful staff. The room was beautiful, […] with wide windows, good temperature controls, a huge closet and a balcony. The cherry on top: We had to check out at 6 AM, before breakfast time. The location is excellent within walking distance of the pier, the Elizabeth bridge and the main pedestrian part of town with alll the restaurants.

This Hotel is very good. It is very well located giving excellent access to the city centre, local transport, city sites and main rail station. Breakafst was very good and the staff were also helpful and efficient. They also spoke good English. All in all very good value for money.
