Everything was clean. the front desk was helpful, bar staff friendly and the hotel restaurant had good food at reasonable prices. The ceiling tiles did have stains on them, and a bit of a hike to the strip on foot. All the windows have views to the street or rooftops below. Very small casino with few gambling options. No cards dealers. All machine operated gambling and you have to cash out with a cashier for all winnings. For the price we paid it was fine, but if you want glitz and glamour right on the strip, this hotel isn't for you.

We enjoyed our stay at Greek Isles. If you're doing Vegas on a budget, this would be the place to stay. Just don't order room service.

I was very unhappy with this hotel stay. I wanted a diet coke upon arrival. The Frong Desk people said they were out of it. Three days later they were still out of it. I ordered a pizza from room service. I told them twice no meat just double cheese, olives, onions and green peppers. They sent me a pizza loaded with pepperoni. The iron in my room did not work, the door was warped so I had to put my key in several times to open the door. The remote did not work part of the time. Most important: I put in a request for two wake up calls on different days. Never received either one! The second one was very important as I didn't want to miss my flight and I told the front desk to make sure I got a manual call as well as automated. Never received wither one. I was told there wasn't a written record that I wanted a wake up call. I watched the Front Desk person put the call in a log it as I stood there the night before. This hotel is very poorly managed, in my opinion and I would not stay there again for any price. Everyone blamed everyone else for the problems instead of fixing the problem. I will say the housekeeping staff is outstanding. The room was large and always clean. The tub was always clean, and the garbage was always taken out. The bed in the room was very comfortable and the housekeepers worked hard to keep the room tidy. I would not, however, ever stay there again as the other employees didn't seem to care about handling any of the problems and there is a big lack of communication between the employees. It also costs between $15.00 to $20.00 to take a cab, one-way to the strip.

Near the strip (walkable) still away from the crowds & noise. Old hotel could do with little refurbishing. Not a great gambling den (vintage coin operated slots) and a small diner. Helpful staff, No problems what so ever.

Nice large rooms and helpful staff. Two phones so if you use dial-up for your computer you can have it plugged into one phone line at the desk and still use the phone next to the bed. My only complaint would be the way the beds are made. They seem to use sheets that are too small and so after a short time in bed they are all over the place. Other than that the rooms are nice and big and comfortable. They should also have a list of tv stations available. The location is convenient espcially if you are going to a convention as it is only a block away from the Convention Center and a few blocks from the Strip. All in all, we would definitely stay here again.

the description of the hotel said 'free wifi' and it was there in my booking print out also. the hotel reception gave me a room on the 2nd fl saying that I will not get wifi signal above that fl. drawback was that I didnt get any view from 2nd fl but as I needed wifi I agreed to take that room. Later when I wasnt getting any wifi signal in the room, I asked the reception and they said that their network was down!! how ironical! apart from this, the room was okay. Basically you get what you pay for!

Small, old building--not what we expected. The room was very satisfactorially clean. The building was old and run down and needs an overhaul.

The pictures look a lot better on the website than the actual rooms.

Look, this hotel is old and cheap. It simply can not compare or compete with the mega-resort hotels on the strip. It is not where I would take a family or a business trip. This is for a budget minded person who wants a place to crash after they have spent the day somewhere else or the night on the strip. It is great for college students who want to visit Vegas on a budget. That being said, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room service and restaurant were reasonably priced, and the food was good. It was extremely cost effective. Hey, like I said, it is old and cheap. What more can you expect?

Hotel was clean and well-maintained. Located very close to the convention center and just a short walk to the strip. Great place for sleeping, but not much to do at the hotel. I would definitely stay here again!

Great room for the money, exceeded my expectations.

My husband asked me to book him a room for a couple of days so he could attend a trade show at the convention center. I booked the Greek Isles. He called me everyday and told me I should not have spent so much and rather just put him up in the really cheap place around the corner. If only he knew the diffrence was less than $4.oo a night. He tells me the staff were very accomidating and respectful, the place was clean, he walked to the convention center everyday, for his purposes he was pleased.

If you need to stay a short walk from the convention center and your expense account does not allow for a stay in one of the posh strip hotels, I highly recommend the Greek Isles. Clean, quiet, comfortable, convenient and very affordable.

We were surprised at how clean, comfortable and large our room was. The coffee maker and fridge was an added plus. It is close and convenient to the convention center. We would definitely stay here again, but we would ask for a kingsize bed as we are tall and the queen felt more like a full size bed to us.

The hotel was clean, an easy walk to the strip,right behind the Wynn. Staff was very courteous. I would definitly consider staying again.

The hotel staff were friendly and helpful and the room was a good size and quiet and dark at night. The bed was super plush and there was a nice recliner in the room. The pool was not at all crowded and was open 24 hours. I would definately stay here again.

We were unable to sleep because the noise from outside our door was so loud from a motor running all night.

Rooms are huge, clean and quiet. Staff is great. Location is perfect for convention center AND the strip. Will recommend to anyone looking for great value for the money in Vegas.

I wasn't really sure about this hotel when we pulled up, because it was small on the outside. Only twelve (12) floors. But was we surprised after we have stayed there. It was very quiet all day and all night long. That was the very thing that impressed us. The staff was very helpful all the time and they always had a smile on their faces. It was a quaint little place and so nice that we have made reservations again for November.

We were within walking distance to the Mirage hotel show that we scheduled.

This hotel was fantastic for the price. The area was not run down, actually it was very nice. It was off the strip about a block and a half, so there was no hussle or bussle. Just total relaxation. The casino area was very small. But that was ok, did not have to walk along ways to play a machine.

Just a few blocks from the convention center and a few blocks from the strip. Hotel is a little older than most and not in the middle of the night life. Easily serviced by bus. Hotel was quiet.

Much better than expected. Older property but was renovated very well in my room.

Nice clean room and everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is they might want to invest in a few extra cots as they were out both nights so some of the teenagers traveling with me slept on the floor. They did give us extra blankets and pillows though.

The hotel rooms were surprisingly large for a single queen, and nicely decorated. The large windows in each room are something you don't normally see in hotel room designs today. The hotel itself, did have a slight smoke smell, but it didn't really bother me because you couldn't smell it in our room. The room service and restaurant were great for eating when you didn't feel like spending a lot, but wanted some quality food. I'd recommend eating there at least once during your stay, out of convenience. It's not on the strip and it's not jumpin' at night, but the hotel is perfect for when you want to go back to a quiet room and sleep.

Hotel was very accomidating with an early check -in

I did some bouncing around from hotel to hotel in vegas for about a month and went on hotel.com every time i needed to book a room only goin for the low prices. The Greek Isles hotel was definately one of the best out of all the hotels i stayed at and if i got the chance i would definately stay again. It was the clean and well maintained for the age of the hotel and close to the strip. Unless you are lookin for somethin outragously clean on the strip you cant beat this for the price!

We were so happy to have found such a great place for such an inexpensive price. Everything was just perfect, and this will be the only place we stay when we travel again to Las Vegas.

Walking distance to the Convention Center, so if you have business there this hotel is very convenient. Nothing fancy, but the staff is very friendly and the rooms are fine. Nice, quiet pool.

Gave us keys for 6th flr room.Key didn't work because there was already someone living there who came to door.Used his phone to call desk. She said to wait on couch near elevator while she called security. Two security men arrived. One went down to the room to interview man. Other security man told us he would get man out so we could have room. Told him we didn't want USED ROOM so he went downstairs to get us keys to another room, which he did. Our new room had only 1 towel. Called housekeeping. In morning found only 1 coffee cup, so no coffee made. Restaurant closed at 8pm on Fri night (Vegas?) Only 1 diner in there at 7pm. Billed as casino and had only slot machines. Wall had nails only and blank space where picture had been. Not clean and not a king bed. When checked out, desk said hotel had been sold and new owners were going to renovate place. Told her to tell them to start with our room!

Very nice hotel , stayed for a week .. 4min walk to the strip. Great food at the resturant.. Overall very nice if you like a small hotel / casino

I picked this hotel because of a rating it received. This is definitely and will probably never be a five star rated hotel. Did not care for this property at all.

I am very happy to post and comment about my most recent stay at this hotel, as a flight attendant I have had the opportunity to stay at the best and the worse hotels out there, and with all due respect The Greek Isles gets a two thumbs up! Not only was "The Price Right", the front desk staff were very helpful and poliet, no long lines at check in, The pool was very relaxing and not crowed. The rooms look as though they have been refurbished and the beds were awesome. The reason I had to choose this hotel was because I had a change in my travel dates and saw there great price on hotels.com. After my first night, I cancelled my previous reservations with another hotel and booked another night. I will be back and hope that others will check this hotel out!

The rooms are cool, but don't eat there and don't expect anyone to go out of their way to help if you need it. Its walking distance from Riveria and circus circus if its not hot out, also with in walking distance of the peppermill. The food there is great.

TV doesn't have closed caption for deafies. When I started to turn on the sink faucet, the water showed brown but it changed to non brown to make me not to drink it or mouthwash after tooth brushing.
