Excellentes Hotel in Summerling ca 20 Minuten zum Strip. Mehrere gute Restaurants in einem etwa 1 meile entferntem Einkaufszentrum, Golfplaetze in der Naehe. Wir uebernachten hier regelmaessig nach der Ankunft in LAS VEGAS, FAhrt vom Flughafen ca. 30 Minuten. Das Hotel verfuegt ebenfalls ueber gute Restaurants, Fruehstuecksbuffet ist sehr gut, . Sehr freundliches Personal im gesamten Hotel.

Ich war für zwei Tage in Las Vegas und würde Sam's Town und Gambling Hall jederzeit empfehlen. Das Zimmer war groß und sauber mit großem Flachbildschirm. Das typisch amerikanische Frühstück war mehr als reichhaltig und der Preis für den ganzen Spaß fast schon ein Witz. Man darf halt nicht den Fehler begehen, am Wochenende in Las Vegas zu bleiben! Dann kostet der Spaß ein mehrfaches und das Frühstück extra. Die einzigen Kritikpunkte sind eine vor Ort zu entrichtende Resortfee für z.B. den Shuttleservice (den brauche ich aber nicht) und extra Kosten für WLAN im Zimmer. Außerdem darf im Spielbereich geraucht werden, was ich als unerträglich empfinde. Also habe ich auf spielen verzichtet....gut für mein Reisebudget!:-) Das Hotel ist ein paar Kilometer vom Strip entfernt, aber mit Auto auch kein Problem.

Das Boulder Dam Hotel ist ein Hotel mit Geschichte im alten Stadtteil von Boulder City, das ganz eng mit der Entstehung des Hoover Damms verbunden ist. Im Gebäude ist auch ein kleines, aber sehr feines Museum zur Geschichte der Arbeiter des Hoover Damms untergebracht, für das man einen kostenlosen Gutschein erhält - unbedingt ansehen! Die Hotelzimmer liegen sämtlich sehr ruhig im 2. Stock des Hauses und sind stilvoll eingerichtet. Alles ist sehr sauber und lässt nur wenig Wünsche offen. Lediglich, wer Wert auf einen Flachbildschirm legt, wird den vergeblich suchen. Besonders zu erwähnen ist der herzliche und wirklich informative Empfang durch die Dame an der Rezeption, die sich viel Zeit für Erklärungen und Empfehlungen genommen hat. Frühstück und Mittagessen kann im Restaurant im Erdgeschoss eingenommen werden. Fürs Abendessen gibt es nette und gute Möglichkeit in der nahen Umgebung. Insgesamt ein sehr ruhiges und empfehlenswertes Haus.

Schönes Hotel, außerordentlich reichhaltiges Frühstück. Lobbybereich nich wirklich classy, aber die Zimmer mit Blick auf das Bellagio und deren Fontänen sind spektakulär

Hotel was in the heart of the convention center, but the property was very run down, old and dirty, the coffee shop was horrible, the carpets in our room were so dirty and stained, and there was a big dirty recliner in the room, kinda of disgusting. I love staying at this hotel because it's always a good price, I get a good view, the staff is always friendly and it's usually pretty close to the casino, I am planning on going to like the Wynn :)

Although the price was good, it's a very old hotel that has not been taken care of. Carpet was old and stained. Mildew in shower and basically not a very nice place. Should have known better for the low price. Smelled of smoke and other odors.

I booked the wrong month, even after the booking date passed. The Reservation lady Raquel, was able to cancel my booking and I was able to rebook for the correct month. Completely my mistake. They were very easy to work with.

Everyone at the front desk was great and our room was fantastic......But the service downstairs at the resturant and bar was really bad...They need to clean up and get rid of some employes

"close to convention center"
We could walk to the convention center or Las Vegas BVLD. The carpet in the room was old, the curtains were water stained from the window being left open during a storm, the room had a slight odor and the air conditioning really did not make the room cold and the day time high was only 85F. We staid on the 11 th floor, the view was nice and the room […] was large. we did not go to Vegas to spend time in the room, it was better than camping. Mehr

You get what you pay for. I selected this hotel because it's within walking distance of the Convention Center and was 2/3 the price of surrounding hotels. As you arrive, the "Theater" sign overhead tells it all. Someone ordered a sign too big so it won't fit in the sign holder. So it's stretched outside the holder and the last letter of the sign is […] taped to the wall! Very old run down hotel and you can see no money is being spent in maintenance. Service was marginal at best (extra slow in the restaurant) and if you do need a taxi, the front desk must call and you hope one will show. "Great for business at the convention center"
I was there for a convention at LVCC. The hotel location is great, just a 5 minute walk from the convention center. The hotel is nothing like the big strip casinos and that was a good thing. I did not have to wait in a big line to check-in, I could park for free just outside the lobby, and I did not have to walk a mile to my room! It's nothing fancy, […] but the bedding was very comfortable, my room was spotless with new carpeting and linens. "Good value"
With an event at the conference center, this hotel worked out great because we could walk since it was only about a block away. Rooms were plenty comfortable and the rate was great. Really small casino area and a restaurant made getting around and up to the room easy, rather than walking a long distance. Cobb salad I had was really good and front desk […] sold sodas, snacks and other items. Perfect for Vegas on a budget with in house entertainment as well in an adjoining theater. Mehr
"Worst hotel ever!!!"
We had a really bad experience at this hotel, dirty ans smelly carpets, we arrived on friday and left on sunday and they never runned a vacuum on the hallway. There were bugs on the pool. the carperts on the elevators and room are disgusting, overall the worst hotel ever, we are never going back.

This is certainly not the fanciest hotel in Vegas, but it is very nice, well maintained and an easy walk to the Convention Center. Can't beat it at the price.

"Clarion Las Vegas"
It is in a great location for the convention center but fairly run down. A good price for the money but expect it to be a two star stay. I had a long wait to check in, outer bedding was ancient and carpet needed to be replaced years ago.
Strictly business, it was convenient, clean room, and quiet. Not plush, but I would stay again.

Hotel lobby and carpeting needs a good cleaning. Rooms were not as dirty as lobby and hallways. Elevators were old and flooring needs repair.

"The most dirty place I had seen in years"
For the first time, I reserved a hotel based on the reviews written in the HOTELS.COM. The reviews were good . . . . so I trusted them, and I booked the room . . . . However, I was shocked when I got into the hotel . . . . . It was the most dirty place I had seen in years. The carpets were really dirty, and the corridors were so smelly. I tried to change […] the reservation to another hotel, but was told that I would only get 15% of my money back since I had already checked in. It was the first, and definitely my last time to ever use HOTELS.COM . . . . . Be careful people, I warned you . . . . at least, try to book your hotel for one night only, and then extend it when you see the place . . . . don’t get excited when you see a deal that encourages you to book for the entire duration of your vacation . . . . once you pay the money in advance, you are stuck! "the Clarion.....what a great value!"
We were amazed at how easy it was to find, park and avoid traffic on "The Strip". This is an older hotel and doesn't have the food courts and shops a lot of the others have, but well worth the money. Our room was spacious, convenient, clean and quiet. The 'queen bed' in our room was surprisingly comfortable. Staff was gracious, courteous and attentive. A lil smaller and more conveinent to stay at than the places on the strip. check in 2 min, check out 1 min,,,, Compared to an hour on the strip, much nicer people as well..... Small little cafe, nice little bar... Pool was a little small, but that added to the private aspect of it..... Only negative the pool filters needed changed, thus the water had […] palm tree pollen on it. A great place if ur a person who checks in, and wants to go c several diff places on the strip... The Clarion hotel is located close to the Las Vegas strip. Both the bus stop and tram stop are at a walkable distance. So, reaching strip or downtown is very easy. Considering the proximity to the strip and low cost of stay per night, it is a very good option to stay when in Las Vegas. All employees in the hotel were very good and friendly. The reviews for this hotel are just about right. As a business person, I don't mind staying in less-than-luxurious hotels because I am by myself. I had a convention at the convention center which was less than a block away so it was perfect. The hallway carpets are pretty dingy but the room was fine and bed was comfortable. Staff were wonderful. Inexpensive […] breakfast ($5.99) was great. They advertise a casino but it is just a few slot machines. "Great for staying on a budget"
Stayed here because it was walking distance to the convention center and the strip. Room was large, but no padding under the carpet. But For what I paid I thought I got a great deal. If you want luxury, then pay to stay somewhere more expensive. I'll probably stay here next time I visit Vegas.
