We stayed here one nite before a cruise. super close to cruise port. Free airport transfer was very nice. But airport needs to label bus pick up areas better. Not hotels fault just an fyi read the signs! Room was probably the cleanest we have ever stayed in. staff was friendly n helpful. Loved the decor. Area is ok kinda industrial. You need to take […] a cab to beach shopping etc. ate twice at hotel food.was good. Prices not bad.considering they have a.captive audience. Beautiful accommodations

Not satisfied... The staff was unpleasant and not helpful at all.

This location was as close as you could get to Port Everglade without being able to walk there. Convenient airport shuttle, easy check in, nice clean, spacious room. Our package came with a continental breakfast. But they let you choose anything from the menu and credited you the cost for the continental item. Because most items were the same price […] or less it only cost us a few extra dollars to get exactly what we wanted. That was very accommodating. Not much else around the hotel but good location for a pre or post cruise night and very close to the airport. We enjoyed the nice pool deck the next day before we could embark on the cruise. Took others suggestions and took a cab to the port as the hotel shuttle was $8 per person and we had 4 in our party. The cab fare was only $18 including the tip. Mehr

nice people, fast service, clean and good condition for the room.

Hotel personnel were extremely helpful and polite. The location was ideal for getting to the pier. Transportation was timely. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

Room was fine but it took 3 calls and 90 minutes for them to pick us up at the airport.

A newer hotel with all the amenities. Very clean and cmfortable, The Kiki bar is great! Very fun staff and great drinks!

Second stay at this hotel and highly recommend if you're going on a cruise departing from Fort Everglades. Short trips to/from airport and the port. Nice people-very accomodating. No smoking floors always a PLUS!! Highly recommended.

I was disappointed that there was no concierge service and no breakfast included for the price that was paid.

We were early for check in but they safely stored our luggage and our room was ready in an hour (3 1/2) hours prior to posted check in time. Shuttle from airport was 1 1/2 hours late in arrive in stiffling sun and heat. Shuffle to airport was a breeze. Hotel restaurant provide satisfactory food and choices and we had very good service. We had to wait 1 hour 15 minutes for shuttle in heat and humidity and were not pleased...tires and hot. Hotel gave us complementary 2 drinks but found out that everyone gets that on check in.

We did a pre cruise saty for one night. The staff was very polite and helpful. The room and resturant were very good. The location was not great, there did not seem to be much you could walk to. It was close to the airport and cruise lines. For our purpose it was fine.

Everything was perfect; the room, the restaurant, and the valet parking was worth the few dollars extra.

Friendly staff greeted us when we arrived about 8:30 pm via a 5 minute taxi ride from the airport. We were tired and hungry and the offer of a complimentary drink if we ate in the in-hotel restaurant was just the trick to have us order dinner, which was surprisingly delicious (or we could have just been hungry). The next morning we asked about nearby […] shopping options and the staff gave us a couple, but we eventually walked around the neighborhood and found what we needed. Staff were fantastic, and accommodated our requests for a 'quiet room' on the top floor. Shuttle driver was terrific too! Got in late, but room service bite of dinner was delicious and even enjoyed the fireworks displays all round the hotel! Enjoyed a dip in the pool before heading to our boat too. Thanks to everyone!

very nice, would stay again close to cruise port and airport, had to ask twice for pool towels never did get any, resturaunt pricey but good food

This hotel was a convenient option for pre/post cruise use. The surrounding neighborhood was slightly industrial but a short taxi ride places you in the center of all the action. The rooms were very clean and nice. The restaurant was marginal but a convenient option. I would stay there again...

We arrived around midnight yet the free shuttle from the airport to the hotel was still running. The ùcrown Plaza was the first drop off point - a definite plus. The room was spotless, very quiet, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was perfect, served hot and quickly - even the coffee was perfect! The shuttle to the cruise was fine, and the […] driver even booked us for our return trip from the port to the airport. I cannot say enough about the Crown Plaza Airport/Cruiseport. It is ideal! Although the service was excellent, the overall experience was not as good as we would have liked. In light of the price of the hotel, we expected better facilities (e.g., mediocre pool and no hot tub) and a more desirable hotel. The room itself was quite nice.

The hotel is very close to the cruise ship port and that seemed to be the majority of the people there. We were there to celebrate New Year's Eve and tried to check in early, but the hotel stays VERY busy with the lobby being packed every day first thing in the morning, and between 11 and 3 (check-out time is 11 am). The staff was more than helpful, […] even giving our group a ride to/from a diner down the street on New Year's Day! Mehr

We chose the Crowne Plaza due to its proximity to the airport and the cruiseport. We found the rooms clean and well furnished. Free wifi was nice and worked well. We ate in the restaurant for breakfast and lunch and the food was good and service was very friendly. We also used the sundeck and pool which was very clean and nice. Good place to stay if you are going on a cruise. It was only $8.00 each to get to the pier. We wanted a king size bed, they said they upgraded us. The rm we got was bigger, but it had 2 queen beds. This is a 3.5 star hotel.

We stayed at the Crowne Plaza due to the fact that the hotels we normally stay in, close to the convention center, were already booked up this year. We were very pleased, it wasn't that far from the Convention Center and not far from the Airport as well. The hotel staff was very nice, they arranged for shuttle service to take us to the Convention Center. […] The hotel was very clean, had a great workout room. I loved the fact that our room had a microwave and a small refrigerator. Our only complaint was the pillows, they were very fat or full and we woke up with stiff necks. I like a fuller pillow, but these were quite overstuffed. We didn't even ask the front desk if they had other pillows, so that was our fault. Overall it was a very great experience and we will definately use the Crowne Plaza again next year at the next boat show! Mehr

It was a post cruise stay for me at Crowne Plaza and I chose this hotel because of its close proximity to the airport and from the cruise ship port. Crowne Plaza also provides a free shuttle service to and from the airport. As I had returned very early from the cruise ship I was surprised that Crowne allowed me an early check in. As the room I had earlier […] booked was not ready, I was given an accessible room for the physically challenged. No complaints as it was a big room with a large bathroom and it was well maintained and clean although the decor of the room was a bit cold and serious. Bed was comfortable and bathroom amenities were provided. There was also tea and coffee making and a fridge. Breakfast was not included for the price I paid for. What I liked most was the free internet usage located on the 5th floor. Also on the same floor is a restaurant and a sundry shop.The hotel has a small reception area and the staff were friendly. Las Olas Boulevard shopping area is not too far from the hotel. Taxi fare was $10 back to the hotel, depending on which end of the Boulevard you are at. From the hotel to the Galleria Mall taxi fare was $20. My stay was pleasant and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone who would like to use Crowne Plaza as a pre or post cruise stay or just for leisure or maybe business. Mehr

My wife and i stayed here pre and post cruise. The hotel itself was excellent, however a couple of things were bothersome. First off, shuttle to cruise port was by a third party for a fee. Would recommend a cab because it is so close . Also, on site restaurant was very inefficient. Poor service and high prices. Unfortunately, location is not conducive […] to walking to other restaurants, Other than a pizza place, nothing is very close. Rooms themselves were excellent and very comfortable. This hotel is not centrally located to any activities. You must taxi or rent a car. It is perfect for pre or post cruise. The room was beautiful, clean and no outside noise. The air conditioner however was very loud. I would stay here again.

Booked this place because it was close to the airport but I was very impressed with the hotel. Room was very large, very clean and well laid out. Staff was very professional. Got better service than I expected from airport area hotel. Not much in the immediate 2 block area around hotel but it is located on a main bus route for those adventurous enough […] to use mass transit. Plenty of car rental places close by if that works better. Only minor complaint is that hotel shuttle to airport didn't run early enough for my flight, probably not an issue for most people. This hotel was clean and the restaurant and breakfast were exceptional. The receptionist was unproffessional. They charged the CC for my room even though i had already paid at hotel.com. Basicly they tried to get paid twice for the same night or they were so incompetent as to not understand their own reservation system. Either way, combined with the […] rude front desk and insufficient staff at the reception area it completely ruins the overall experience. Mehr

The hotel was clean and staff were friendly...However there is a mandatory valet parking fee of 1$15!! Plus the staff take your bags to and from your room that you must tip!

The hotel is conveniently located in relation to the air and cruise ports as well as the freeway system if you are using a rental vehicle,even though the only parking that is available is the valet parking at a princely sum of 15 dollars a day. Rooms are clean, hotel is brand new .

the only problem I had with this trip is that Hotels.com did not disclose this was a valet parking only hotel and cost an extra $15.

This was a very nice hotel for the price and only ten minutes away from the Fort Lauderdale airport with free shuttle service provided by the hotel. Hotel personnel were very gracious and accomodating. Would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The staff was great and the hotel was clean. This hotel however, is more business oriented, so not ideal for children when the recreational amenities only include an outdoor swimming pool and a gym. It rained so the kids couldn't enjoy the pool. We strongly recommend a game room, a spa or some other kind of entertainment on site.

Staff was excellent and the rooms are new and very nice. the hotel is ideally situated for access to the Cruiseport and the hotel but is not in a area with many restaurant or other activities. it is an short cab ride to any of the major areas though (Las Olas, the beach, etc). Would definitely stay there again.

We recently stayed at the Crown Plaza in Fort Lauderdale. We found the rates to be reasonable for what we got. The rooms we very clean and spacious. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. They were able to answer all our questions, about transportation, shopping, resturants ect. The hotel is very convenient to the airport and cruise ship port.
