The Budget Inn had everything I needed. The only thing I didn't care for was that the shampoo came in skimpy little single-use packets, and the shower head was pretty cheap and minimalistic. Bed was hard. Shower drained very slowly. Staff allowed us to park at 11am before check in so we could walk to Disneyland, they also allowed us to stay parked until 2pm after check out. The hotel is located on the corner of Bell and Disneyland drive. The manager had an attitude. The towels were cheap, there were no extra blankets and there was very poor lighting. Also the drawers in the bureau were glued shut. The so called continental breakfast was instant coffee and stale coffee rolls.

The hotel was not to far from disneyland which is why we stayed here. However the towels were hard and still had the dry powdery detergent on them when you wipped your hands with it. Also our bed had all kinds of hair in the sheets and blanket. Made them change it out. Bed was to hard. Will not be staying here again very disappointed

I was going to Disneyland and it was very close which was a good thing. The beds where hard and it smelled like smoke and sprayed with room spray. It was suppose to be a non-smoking room. I had no where to hang my clothes. But if your going to have a short stay it ok.

Nice, well kept hotel. Looks recently updated. Approx 15 min walk to Disneyland. My family enjoyed our stay and the owner/manager was great & very helpful. We even stayed an extra day. We will probably stay again, but I would suggest drawers be added to the rooms so visitors can unpack if they choose to do so.

What was great about this hotel is that it is a relatively short walk to Disneyland and very cheap! No waiting for busses or paying for taxies. The weather was great so the walk was no hassle. The furnishings in the room aren't like the Ritz, but everything was clean and the room was big with a frig and a microwave. The pool was dirty. We got maid service but they did not vacuum n cleaned. The pool needed a little tlc. The towel were hard n they only provided 2 every time. They offered complementary breakfast, but nothing close to it. It was only pastries n coffe.

Everything was good only a 10 min walk to and from the park. The staff was great let us stay parked even after check out. Right across the street from AMPM so you can stock up on cheap snacks. For the price I paid it wasn't a bad place to stay. The room was clean and it was very close to disneyland. The only thing that I would suggest is bring your own towels. The towels I had in my room had some type of bodily hair on it which was pretty gross but other than that it was ok.

It lists continental breakfast, & free wifi, though in reality you get Folger's instant coffee & a a choice of Costco danishes; wifi had some passcode & username attached, which we couldn't get. The Hotel was really nice and clean and we enjoyed our room. One of the reasons that we choose to stay at this hotel was because the had a continental breakfast so that we didn't have to go out to eat. I enjoyed my stay at the Budget Inn. It was very simple. But also very clean and had a pool. My 7 year old loved it. No amenities really. Just an affordable extremely clean hotel. We were at Disneyland all day so we just needed a place to sleep and a place to cool off. If that is what you are looking for. It is perfect for those on a budget.

The Budget Inn was just what I expected. It was a place to sleep and close to Disneyland. The only thing that was a little disappointing, was that each day I returned to the room the air conditioning had been shut off. Otherwise, it was what I expected and perfectly fit my needs of being close to Disneyland and being inexpensive.

The hotel grounds, pool, rooms were clean! That's the plus! The minus is that it is too far of a walk to the Disney Parks! After a long day of walking at the parks, the last thing you want to do is walk ANOTHER 1/2 mile! Ugh! I have blisters on my blisters!! There is NO shuttle service to the parks! Me and my husband stayed here while we went to a concert nearby. This hotel is located right by disneyland but you have to be careful can it's kinda hidden so when you first past by it you might miss it. The man at the front desk was courteous upon check in. You come into the room from the backside but my room has a balcony with chairs and a table so it was really nice to watch the sunset from there. Everything was clean (toilets, sinks, bathtub, bed) but one thing is the bed was pretty hard. I had read that on previous reviews but it was okay for one night of sleep. In the morning the breakfast they offered was muffins, donuts but that was okay becuse what else would i expect for the price. Let me being by saying that when I travel I view my accommodations as mostly utilitarian. Luxuries I can do without as my interest is in having a comfortable bed, functioning bathroom, and a place to keep my personal items safe anything beyond that is nice to have but not a requirement. However, the location of this hotel makes access to the park on foot rather complicated and difficult. For Pedestrian access to the park the hotels on Harbor Blvd. are much better. On the subject of parking, the Budget Inn parking lot was small but adequate during my stay but the lot fills up quickly in the evening. My room was spacious and clean, the beds were firm and comfortable, the bathroom was in good repair, and the television reception was clear with a wide selection of channels. There was a small refrigerator, microwave, steam iron, and hair dryer but no coffee maker or alarm clock. My second floor room was accessed from an internal corridor and had a balcony that overlooked the parking lot. From the balcony you can see the Disneyland parking structure but the orientation of the hotel prevents you from seeing the park's fireworks display from the balcony. However, while you can't SEE the fireworks you certainly can HEAR them - and occasionally feel the vibration from the explosion. The noise wasn't a bother for me - as I wasn't trying to sleep during the display - but for anyone travelling with children or light sleepers this may be an issue. The room's heating, what little I used it, worked well. The "breakfast" isn't a breakfast - it's instant coffee and a box of pre-packaged pastries from Costco (but I'm not saying here for the breakfast). The surrounding area provides plenty of access to restaurants, gas stations, convenience stores, pharmacies, etc... If you happen to forget a toothbrush or need a band-aid for t Mehr

I chose this hotel because the price was about $10 less a night than other chain hotels in the area, and mostly positive reviews. Wish I would have gone elsewhere. We had three rooms, all were dirty. Bedspreads torn, carpet stained/ burned. The advertised high speed wi-fi worked intermittently at best in only one of our rooms, (closest to the "lobby") […] and not at all in the other two. Hot water was non-existent, bathroom sink did not drain. "Complimentary breakfast" was a box of doughnuts and coffee. The location is great for Disney, but that is all. Okay as little as you are in the room while visiting Disneyland. Desk clerk not helpful about local transportation, talked down of Anaheim shuttle system. After hiking to the park a few times, we find out the hotel next door sold shuttle tickets and the system works great. There are very few if any food places around the area. "Room service menu" found […] in room, was for a closed restaurant and the local pizza delivery had a lot to be desired. I had family staying at the Sheraton and the Disneyland Grand Californian and our room was bigger than both. - Close to Disneyland and the freeway. - Plenty of places to eat nearby, several within walking distance (<1 mi.). - Very clean. Looks like it has been recently redecorated/remodeled. - Fridge and microwave en suite. Cons: - […] No closet, only a very small rod above one of the tables, and the drawers are fake, you can't open them at all. - The hairdryer shorted out if I set it above low. (It took me an hour to dry my hair.) - Toiletries were scanty, bring your own. - No coffee pot in the room. - Continental breakfast was very underwhelming. Costco danishes and a small carafe of coffee with tiny cups, and only powdered creamer. Also, it doesn't even get set out until 7:30, and since Disneyland opens at 8, if you're trying to get there as soon as the doors open then you miss the "breakfast" altogether. - Beds are very hard. - Disneyland's fireworks are right above you. If you go to bed early they'll definitely wake you up. (This didn't bother us, but it's worth mentioning.) - The hotel shuttle is not free. You pay per person, each way, and it's too far to walk if you have younger kids with you. For three of us it was cheaper to pay for parking at Disneyland ($15/day). Overall if you just want a place to shower and sleep it works. Since I booked early I got a decent rate (almost half off), but if I had to pay full price I wouldn't stay here again. Mehr
