"Für unseren Zweck genau richtig"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 6. Jan. 2013Das Hotel macht schon von aussen einen guten Eindruck. Es befindet sich zwar an einem Hwy, doch davon bekommt man drinnen nichts mit. Die Zimmer waren mit allem ausgestattet was man für eine Übernachtung nach einem langen Flug braucht, vor allem aber waren sie sauber und ruhig. Weder am Abendessen, noch am Frühstück gab es irgendetwas auszusetzen. Wir hatten keine großen Erwartungen an das Hotel, dafür wurden wir positiv überrascht.

"Very good hotel"
I would definitely stay here again. It is super clean and the staff is very friendly. The hotel location is excellent. We stayed there for 2 nights and had basically everything within walking distance. You can shop, eat or just relax without having to drive. The only draw back is that the room didn't have a microwave to heat up the leftovers from the […] excellent dinner from the night before from Dodie's Cajun Cafe. If a room stays vacant for a couple days, the room can become stale. I will make sure to communicate to our housekeeping staff to make sure to check rooms daily to keep this from happening. "nothing even remotely bad to say"
I don't even have one complaint about this hotel. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, luxurious decor, friendly and helpful staff, coffee ready downstairs when you want it. Oh the pool and hottub were under maintenance. I felt this should have been done during the week. Our contractors gave us little notice as all hotels have to comply with new ADA standards and install a chair lift for each body of water in their facility. The great news is the project is complete and we are in complete compliance with the new mandate. Upon your next visit, the hot tub and indoor pool will be ready for you to enjoy.

I would like to apologize that our pool and hot tub had to be shut down temporarily. Our contractor gave us little notice of installation as all hotels need to comply with new ADA requirements of a pool lift. The great news is that the lift has been installed and the pool area is open for everyone's enjoyment.

"wonderful birthday party hotel"
We checked in at 3:30, we had 2 adjoining rooms. One room had a balcony, which was lovely. We had a party of 9 and no one was tripping over each other. We walked to dinner at Kelly's, had drinks at Dodies and dancing at Chaucers. No need to stress over parking, drinking and driving, or safety. Awesome hotel... Up to date room.. Very comfortable and cozy bar area as well as numerous places to sit by fire and visit. Staff is excellent. Will without a doubt stay again. The hotel smelled so good when I walked in! My room and bed were very comfortable. The balcony made for a nice and relaxing view. The only thing is that I checked in in a Friday night when there was a lot of bar/restaurant/Allen event center traffic so parking around the hotel was scarce but there were spots in the parking garage. Needed a place to stay in Allen, TX and couldn't think of any better hotel from a location perspective. There are many restaurant options to choose from within walking distance. Being surrounded by almost 50 restaurants, many of them within walking distance, parking your car and not having to use it for the remainder of your stay is very beneficial. We are working to add microwaves to all guest rooms. They are currently in all suites and rooms with 2 queen beds. We look forward to accommodating you again and having the microwave that you request at that time.

best place i've stayed in a long time!, i always wake up much earlier that the rest of my family, at other hotels i'm stuck lying awake in bed as not to disturb my family-that's very frustrating, not here-i woke up and went to the "theater" to watch tv until the "indoor pool and hot tub" opened, after swimming and soaking in the hot tub i enjoyed a […] very good breakfast in the dining room, "stay for breakfast" is a very good value!, complimentary coffee is good, not to mention-the hotel is beautiful, the room is comfortable, clean and modern, shiner bock on tap!, there is excellent dining and shopping very nearby, my only complaint-pillows were too thick and firm MehrAuthentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

"exactly what we wanted!!"
We had a celebration planned. We wanted a hotel that was close to the places we wanted to go. We were able to walk to the bars that we wanted to go to, and not worry about drinking and driving. We checked in over the Christmas holidays. The hotel staff seemed to be more on vacation than present, only one person ever at the front desk, housekeeping was so poor that the hotel rebated the cost of one of the rooms for the entire stay. The heating system is really just air conditioning - the in room units only blow cold air and needed to be turned […] off so they did not blow cold air - despite the fact that it was below freezing outside. We really enjoyed our stay and taking in the shopping areas and restaurants. Allen has grown and will return. One issue concerned us.... The room was clean, new and well kept. The staff were very helpful. Even the price was pretty good for the hotel. It is also close to several stores to walk to eat dinner or go shopping. So, the location is good (if you need to stay in the area anyway). My only complaint is that there was no free breakfast. Just a Starbucks in the hotel with high prices.
