We stayed in the off season. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly. Noise was low, we even stayed by the elevator and had no problems. Our balcony on the 5th floor overlooked the bay and was very cramped, really only had room for one person, but nice view of the sunset.The hotel is extremely close to the boardwalk and so convenient […] to all areas we visited. Clean and up to date, friendly staff.

Aside from the mold in the refrigerator and the fact that the only way the balcany door would stay shut was if it was locked was a nice place.

For what we paid, we were very satisfied with our stay! the staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean, although there did not appear to be any heat in the hallways. Complimentary breakfast was nice.

When I checked in the heat was off. It's winter people and it's cold. Heat would be nice. My door was not secured, which was unsettling since I was checking in with two children. There were stains on the carpets and the bath towels were extremely thin. The contential breakfast was a joke. The juice machine was broken, there was no coffee available. […] The only food avaialble was bagels and bread. Mehr

I love this hotel. Its clean and the employees are always nice. Stay here every with my son and I and is close to the beach and just overall great!!!

I must admit, I was a little on the fence upon arrival as I thought I had an ocean front room. What I did have was a nice view of the ocean from afar. But when all was said and done it was very close to the boardwalk and the room with the balcony was awesome, and the room was very clean. This was just a nice place to stay and when I come back to the […] O.C. I will be staying here again. Trust me, I read review after review from all the hotels. This is a good one. The hotel was great. it is not right on the boardwalk but only a few steps away. IT was well worth the money. The room was clean and the staff was very nice. I will stay there in the future! I strongly recommend this hotel.

nice family hotel, nice staff, tiny pool, good breakfast. The hotel is about a 10 min walk to the beach but all in all nice and would go back.

Oceanview is not really oceanview. The view is down the street. However, the room was a bit small but pretty nice. Clean. Didn't have any strange smells. Hop, skip and jump from the Boardwalk and Beach. I would stay there again. Front desk employees nice. One thing, they need more help during check in at 3. Line was long.

It wasn't a bad stay but I was disappointed about a few things. When I made the reservation the guy said it was on the Boardwalk - not. They advertised flat screen TV - not, I had to ask for a blanket for the sleep sofa, they gave sheets but no blanket. The maid didn't leave us toilet paper or fresh coffee cups. I had to go find my own TP. The room […] was supposed to be a suite which implies more than one room but it was not, it was just a regular room with a sleep sofa on one end (small one at that). This hotel is in a great, central location (but not directly on the boardwalk). However, we seriously thought about not even checking in because of the terrible condition of the common areas and the furniture in the hotel--dirty and in need of a good scrubbing/cleaning. However, when we got to our room, it was just fine with the exception of the chair […] (upholstery) needing to be cleaned. The bed appeared to be clean and comfortable, as was the bathroom. The hotel and employees were great! Our room was always clean and when I asked for my towels, they were brought up to our room promptly. The only thing negative was street it was on WAY TOO BUSY! YOU HAD TO TAKE YOUR LIFE IN YOUR OWN HANDS TO CROSS THE STREET.

Simple accommodations,but very clean and comfortable. One block from the boardwalk. Not a resort, but if all you want is a clean room close to the beach, it gets the job done.

This hotel was a little nicer than I expected it to be. The hotel was fairly clean, as well as the room, the front desk people were nice, and the continental breakfast was much more than I expected. The beds were fairly comfortable as well. The only negative for me was at one point when I opened a towel, a big wad of black hair came out of it (almost […] like it had picked it up in the dryer). Parking was awful. One night there were zero spots and I had to park in the pay municipal lot. Was told by the manager he would not reimburse me , and that I should have parked on the front lawn because I was guarantted a spot! Room was clean and location was nice. I was quite surprised and pleased with this hotel. It was much nicer than I had anticipated. Its in a convenient location, close to the beach, boardwalk and speedboat/parasailing attractions. You can walk everywhere! The free continental breakfast was good too. The pool is a little small, but it still works for a nice cool off on a hot day. Pool hours […] are convenient too, 10am to 9pm. Room was clean and hotel was well maintained. Staff was friendly. Less than 100 yard walk to the boardwalk. Nice continental breakfast. Only complaint would be the availability of the luggage carts. During the morning the cleaning staff used the only 2 available luggage carts so guests had to carry their luggage to their car.

My family and I had a nice stay at the Sleep Inn. The hotel staff was always friendly and helpful. The hotel is conveniently located and we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend however that they perform some upgrades. The furniture in the hotel lobby was badly soiled and the carpets in the hallways needed shampooing or replacing as they were soiled/stained […] as well. Mehr

I would recommend this hotel to anybody, since it is clean and is right there on 1st St. Its breakfast services are not that of a five-star hotel, but there are plenty of restaurants around. One Mom and Pap's restaurant I would recommend is Goolie's. The pool is very small, but who goes to OC to swim in a poo? The ocean is the biggest pool of all.

While check-in was a bit long due to the time of day and only one person tending to the needs of all the customers, Carol did a wonderful job and is very attentitive to her customers!!! I would definately stay here next time we are in OCMD. Boardwalk just across street, and paking not that big of a problem if you are a little creative with how you get […] in and out. Mehr

This hotel was very disapointing. The rooms were small. The pool was miniscule and dirty. The location of the hotel was ok but I would not recommend it for families with small children, the walk to the beach and actual water is very long. With the hot sand and hauling chairs, toys etc its a nitemare. We did not recieve maid service. On the plus side […] the continental breakfast was nice. The hotel boasted wireless but you had to pay for it. Overall this hotel was not a good value. Mehr

I read many reviews before booking. Having never stayed at the Sleep Inn I was of course a bit weary. The reviews were right though. Hotel staff was nice...once you found one you could understand. The room was a good size for 2 of us. Bed was very comfortable. My only room complaints are the refrigerator was too small and not able to control temperature. […] The curtains...what to say about the curtains. I found out quickly that the rod was not even attached to the bracket. It just sat on top of the brackets. It almost hit me on the head when I tried to open the curtain. There was a slight smell from the drawers where we put our clothes. It faded in time and wasn't super overpowering. The pool was small but fine for cooling off. Would have loved to have had an umbrella though. Free breakfast was good. The staff did great keeping it stocked the entire time. Crossing the street was tough at most times. Being so close to were traffic comes in to OC made it difficult. We had to walk a block one way or another to get to a traffic light to cross safely. So the hotel is actually 2 blocks from the beach/boardwalk. I would stay here again. Mehr

very nice and close to everything I only had one problem and that was the hotel parking. there was never enough parking and I parked my vehicle on the street and received a parking ticket which was $30 dollars right on the side of the hotel. I told the desk attendant and he basically ignored my loss and did not attempt to adjust our bill for the ticket. […] I thought that was not good business because they did not have enough parking so I felt like the hotel should of made us whole and they did not Mehr

We had a somewhat positive stay at this hotel. The staff was pleasant and accommodating, the room and hotel in general was very clean and the continental breakfast was satisfactory. The location was very convenient to the beach, boardwalk, amusements and restaurants. The negatives were the pricey cost and the double bed mattresses in our room were very […] uncomfortable. We were in a standard 2 double bed room and both beds were uncomfortable. The mattresses probably need to be replaced. Mehr

We were greeted warmly and when we requested more towels and an extra key they appeared promptly. We were traveling with two teenage daughters and expected them to sleep on the sofa bed in the room. The sofa bed was so uncomfortable that they chose to take the "mattress" off and sleep on the floor. Unless you've got little ones who are oblivious to […] comfort, I wouldn't count on the sofa bed for a "bed." We enjoyed renting bikes from the near by "Wobbly Wheel" Bike rental, just $6 an hour. When we left, I accidentally left some of my things in a dresser drawer. The person I contacted on the phone located them and promised to put them in the mail to me. Friendly and efficient! Mehr

This hotel was kind of hard to find due to the lack of signs. Also parking was small and cramped. The pool was tiny. But the room was typical of the area, comfy and served it purpose.

seriously, everyone there is so nice! everyone at the front desk even the maids. we requested a corner room because we had 4 people in our room and they made it happen!! free breakfast was good! swimming pool was great and soo close to the beach!

Convenient location to beach and boardwalk. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean. Staff was pleasant and helpful.

We stayed for a day at Sleep Inn, Ocean City. It was nice and quiet, near to the beach and board walk and have adequate parking space. The room was so clean and had a great view to the surrounding areas. The receptionists were supportive and friendly. It will be my number one choice whenever I am going to ocean city.

The location is great. Only 1 block to beach/boardwalk and walking distance to many restaurants on the bayside. Free internet and parking. Carol was exceptional at check in. It was our first time in OC and she suggested great places to go.

The hotel was very nice I went off of what all of the other reviews said, and i was not disappointed at all. I would definitely suggest this hotel to anyone looking to go to Ocean City

had an ocean view from the balcony if you looked between the buildings. The hotel is slighly run down & old but it is only a block from the beach. We were there in the off season so pretty much had the hotel to ourselves. The front desk was helpful. If you are not expecting a five star hotel you will do fine.

The hotel met all expectations. The room was small and did not have a kitchenette like advertised. Overall the lady at the front desk was very nice. Although the room was small, it served it purpose very well. (To sleep and take a sh0wer) Location was excellent, everything was within walking distance. Had a great time looking forward to going back.

We have come to OC to compete in the OC half marathon the past two years. The Sleep Inn is quite convenient to the boardwalk although not water view (not that we cared). The staff is very friendly and accommodating. I recommend this hotel as a convenient, clean, and decent place to stay while in town.

We needed a hotel to stay in for the weekend to accommodate quite a few of us for my Dad's surprise party we were holding in the area. They were very good about putting our rooms together as requested. Continental breakfast was good enough to start the day. They don't have wifi, but a cable was provided to use with laptop.
