I have a certain expectation when selecting a Days Inn. This hotel was way below the bar. While the front desk person was superb, the room was a huge disappointment. I had to take a wet cloth and clean our dresser, desk and night stand. There was dust all over all the furniture. The shower curtain and ceiling above the shower had mildew all over it. […] Fixtures needed repair. Overall, the building is fairly new but there is no upkeep to be seen. Our toilet was backing up and they couldn't even find a working plunger. The employees were very nice and helpful. The owners/management are the ones who obviously don't care. I'll not stay there again nor will any of my relatives who come in yearly for events. Mehr

It served our purposes because we basically only slept there. But when we got there our first night the lamp had the light socket dangling out of it and the chair had a huge disgusting stain. It was late so we did not complain. However, my husband is disabled and could only sit in the chair so he draped a towel over it. The next morning when we were […] leaving for the day we reported the problems and they said they would take care of it. When we got back that night it looked like the lamp had been repaired but the chair was still there. I pushed the chair in the elevator and took it to the desk. They again said they would take care of it. 30-45 minutes later we called again because my husband had nowhere to sit due to his disability. They finally brought us a chair and then wanted to know what we did to it!!! Of course we told them it was that way when we got there. There was plaster that was broken on the walls. The room had alot of potential it just wasn't as clean as it should have been. Those things should have been caught by housekeeping. Loved the little sink/fridge/microwave area but there was no light over there to see what you were doing. Mehr

This is a new hotel and I spent only a few nights there. I wish I knew about it before spending 3 weeks in other poor hotels in the area. He hotel is brand new and the king room I booked was awesome even having a mini fridge and microwave in it. I had a good stay here.

The front office staff was beyond rude to guests that had a booking issue. She was yelling at them and at one point yelled "well do that then!" The guests were respectful and calm so I'm unsure of why she was so angry. There was also an issue where water was leaking from the ceiling into the lobby at one point. we arrived shortly after the tornado warnings were over on march 1. no electric - which was understandable, but no flashlights or candles to help guide one around. sunday morning very loud vacuum was in use in hallway right outside our door. really! do the cleaning at a reasonable hour.

When we arrived Friday night the lobby smelled like an ashtray even with signs posted as a smoke free area. The room wasn"t nasty but not as clean as it should have been and only two towels and wash clothes for a party of four.We left by 6:30am Saturday morning for the entire day and did not arrive back at the Hotel until midnight Sat. night to find […] that the room had not been cleaned and the excuse was that someone was present in the room all day so the maid could not clean.The bathroom is poorly light with no exhaust fan. The hotel faces I-65 but the sides and back are poorly lite and the area behind the facility is a rough neighborhood at best. I WOULD NOT RECCONMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AND I FOR SURE WILL NOT GO BACK!!!! Mehr

Management was rude. They made a mistake on the dates of my reservation and refused to look into the situation. I had confirmation number from hotels.com and had to double check to make sure that i hadn't made a mistake myself. Only after i checked online myself and told the manager that it's right in front of me did he agree to check into the problem. […] He made me feel as if i was causing him a problem for booking and prepaying for 5 nights in his hotel. Turned out that the hotel did make the mistake and never even acknowledged it was their error or apologized for the inconvenience that it caused. Mehr

nice newly renovated hotel, good price $60 a night through hotels.com...not a great location, arrived at the hotel and it appeared to be closed; only one other car in the lot; only one other person staying there (probably about 100 plus rooms); little creepy and dark...ordered in and stayed in my room until morning...nice front desk people though, breakfast […] not great, but it was only for 2 people so I do not think they put out alot to eat; quite an experience..if you are looking for cheap and almost safe, this is the place. In town for the Louisville-Pittsburgh football game. Very good hotel for the price. Convenient to interstate and business corridor. The breakfast area was clean but needs more hot variety. Talked to the owner of the hotel and he was a very nice genetleman. The room was spacious for the three of us with a pull out sofa in the open area.

Hotel was clean very nice and in a great location to get to Louisville. Actually stayed another night. Easy on easy off expressway. Restaurants and gas stations close. Highly recommend.

convientent location to Louisville and good price. We only stayed one night, but it was just what we needed. Great service, very friendly staff. Close to restaurants and shopping and downtown louisville without having to pay the high prices.

Called the hotel 3 days prior to reconfim we needed a King-non smoking, and we had pets. When arriving, they had put us on the 3rd floor and was unsure if they could accomendate us. This was at 11:30 PM. Had to wait while she contacted her manager. Asked her if I could have the pass word while I waited to access our email. Was informed I didnot need […] to. Later she did give it to me while I waited. Was put on the the first floor, with 2 queen beds...... Paid for our pets. When I walked into the lobby she screamed at us we had two pets and needed to be charged a additional $10.00. She asked for our card, I told her it was in our room. She made me feel as if I might not come back and pay. I believe the front desk needs additional training, since "she" is the first impression. The room was clean and very nice. The breakfast shuts down at 8:55am. No room for late comers. Overall, easy on and off of I65. Good value for the money. Mehr

I wasn't expecting much from this room but it was the cheapest night by far in the area for a relatively new hotel. It wasn't luxury but fine for a two night stay. It was clean and had a decent complimentary breakfast. Would definitely recommend for the price.

Overall it wasn't bad especially for the price. The staff was all very nice. I read reviews stating there was a weird smell in the hotel. I am guessing it is the orange odor removal stuff because it wasn't always a non-smoking establishment. I aired it out of the room I had by running the fan a while. The windows don't open. My daughter was getting married and I wanted a nice hotel located close to where she lives and to the event. The hotel was in a great location, many of my family members stayed there as well. I would definately stay here again in the very near future. Everyone was pleasant and helpful to all of our guest. Great place to stay.

I was pleasantly surprised how spacious and well furnished the room was for the price. It was a short drive across the bridge to IM Louisville. My friends stayed downtown and were awake all night due to traffic noise. What a bargain. I would definately stay here again if I need to be in the Louisville area.

We just wanted a room for the night, so I shopped price. For an inexpensive room, we were quite pleased with the hotel and the room. I would recommend it to anyone staying in Jeffersonville, IN.

This Days Inn was only one year old, so everything was quite new and well maintained except for the entry door which was difficult to open and the bathroom door which would not latch shut! Our son was playing in a concert in Louisville, KY that night, so we only stayed one Saturday night, but would consider staying another time. older hotel but close to freeways

Claims to be a "new" hotel but is obviously an older hotel that's been remodeled. The rooms have been painted and have new furniture but still reek of stale cigarette smoke. One of the beds in our room looked like someone had been sitting on it and there was a huge bug crawling around on the ceiling. The surrounding neighborhood looked iffy as well. […] It was conveniently located next to the highway and is very close to a lot of restaurants but I would not stay here again. The Days Inn and Suites in Jeffersonville Indiana treated my wife and I absolutely horribly! We arrived at the hotel around three pm and put our luggage in the room and then drove to Louisville Ky. for a festival there. When we arrived back to the room around eleven that night and after picking up some fast food we made a call to our kids. After the […] call we noticed that our McDonalds bag was covered with ants! I went to the lobby and asked the manager on duty to move us to another room. He then accused my wife and I of bringing the ants into the room via the fast food! He then said that he only had an upgraded room available for an extra $149.00. We refused and ended up leaving the hotel immediately and driving back to Indianapolis. The clerk was way out of line and nasty to accuse us of bringing ants into the hotel. We will never stay in another Days Inn until they get their act together. Mehr

I was surprised at how nice this hotel was. The hotel seemed to be brand new, and walking into the room itself was impressive, as the room seemed to be big enough to be a suite! The hotel was very clean, and the staff was very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the area!

Nice Clean and Quite hotel Near Interstate 65, easy access to I65. Continetal Breakfast nothing fancy. pastries, cereal waffles milk, oj an apple juice.

I went to Louisville to see my husband ship off to the Army, and I jsut needed a cheap hotel to stay the night. For the price, I wasn't expecting much, but was plesently surprised! The location was good - about a 5-10 min drive to the MEPS hotel. The room was big and the bed really comfy! The staff was also very plesent and helpful. I left too early […] for breakfast so I can't speak to that. The only downside was a kinda seedy-looking Knights Inn next door, but that can't be helped. For anyone who is going to see a loved one off at MEPS - a good place for the money! Mehr

The room was very nice and comfortable. Would stay there again. The staff was friendly and courteous. I booked the room with a microwave and fridge but did not get what was advertised. Call to make sure that is what your getting.

This hotel is fairly new and conveniently located off I-65 in Jefferesonville, Indiana. The room included complimentary breakfast which consisted of muffins, cold cereal, patries, orange and apple juices, coffee and allowed guests to make their own waffles. There was issue with the thoroughness of the room cleaning. There was used wash cloth behind […] the bathroom door from the previous guests. This hotel is right next to another hotel that looks a bit scary, and the neighborhood isn't too appealing. Guests staying here are close to many restaurants, minutes from Louisville. Close by, I would recomment anyone to visit Clarksville Seafood (turn left out of the parking lot and it's about a mile up the street on the right) for a truly wonderful fish dinner. Mehr

This hotel advertised a microwave and a refridgerator in the room but had none....our room had a dirty pillowcase and was less than pristine. Breakfast the next day consisted of dry cereal, a waffle, or a bagel...a carb lover's dream I guess but not ours!

I was told that since I registered with Hotels.Com that I was not entitled to a room with a fridge and microwave. The website said these were included. Also, the so-called Breakfast was terrible. There was no more orange juice. There was only white bread and some poor choices of Danish. One of the waffle irons was broken. I can't believe they didn't […] even offer bagels. I was told it was a "hot breakfast" on the phone by the Days Inn staff. THAT IS NOT WHAT I CONSIDER TO BE A HOT BREAKFAST! Mehr

Staff was rude, hotel was dirty (even in lobby and elevator!), very small uncomfortable room, thin walls making noise a big issue, spend your money elsewhere consumers, this joint is a piece of $?%&

This location is OUTSTANDING... The hotel is only a year old...The staff were super friendly...The location is only 2 miles from downtown Louisville. Super location, only two miles from anything and everything you might need... The next time we have a trade show in Louisville, I am booking this location again. I am on the road 35-40 weekends each year, […] this location rates a BH-9. BH-10 is the best... Mehr

To start, the directions listed for this hotel are either wrong or poorly written. I was told to take exit 1 on I 65 NB, from I 64, "wrong".....should have been instructed to take exit 2, doesn't sound like a big deal, but if you are familur with this area you know it is a problem to get turned around, esp with the high amount of traffic using this […] area. Then the check in process was terrible. The clerk had her 2 yr old child with her, screeming and uncontrolable during the entire time, then the clerk assigned me to a room not made up, when checking out there was no one at the desk. We had a wonderful experience at Days Inn and Suites in Jeffersonville,IN. The most important thing for me is the cleaniness of the room, and how maintained the hotel and rooms are. Another thing that is important to me is the smell of the hotel and the rooms, and this hotel passed inspections with me. The free breakfast was very limited(cereal,muffins, […] waffles,toast, milk and juice), but that was okay with me too, because I am not a big breakfast person, but it was good and the area was clean. The hotel staff was not rude or anything, but they were not the most friendly people in the world, but that was okay wih me because everything was nice and clean. One thing that I really liked about the hotel was that it is a NON-SMOKING facility..which is probaly why the hotel does not have a bad smell. They do have smoking pits outside for you smokers. The maids were nice, and they did a good job everyday bringing fresh lines and towels and such. I was not disappointed in one thing at the hotel and we stayed there for a week. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, and I will stay here again if I am ever in that area again. Mehr

Our check-in was relatively smooth, however we were a bit confused and anxious when we were told by the front desk that our room "Should be clean, but may not be clean". We got to the room and it was relatively clean... although there was a mystery substance all over the 1 night stand. We later determined that this was very likely spilled lube. Not […] at all a comforting thought. The bathroom was overly dark, which made using the mirror difficult for getting ready in the morning. The bright parking lot lights shined right through the window and on to the bed (even with the curtain pulled all the way over). The fact that there was only 1 night stand instead of the normal 2 decreased the usefulness of the room and made it so that the alarm clock had to be on the TV stand on the other end of the room. Maybe this hotel has better rooms... but based on our experience we couldn't recommend it to a friend. The good news is that there are 2 new hotels going in right next door. Mehr
