I did not take notice of an earlier review that said they had a room with no windows. So I did not enquire when checking in. We walked into a room with no windows! However, it was only for two nights so we put up with it. The rooms are very tiny so only suitable for one or two nights and the beds are really hard. The bathroom is very tiny and not good […] at all. But we slept well as it was so dark in the room. It is in a good location though. Not far from the mrt or eating places. Basically it was clean and good for just coming back and sleeping. I would recommend it to travellers who only want a budget hotel for a day or two. Mehr

I usually stay in 3-4 star hotels, however given the New Year peak period, the costs were too high in Singapore. We chose this hotel as it was cheaper, and was still conveniently close to the city (Lavender MRT is only 2 stops from the middle of the city). I expected it to be basic and small (the advertisement did advise the rooms are 12sqm) - however […] this has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Overall, it is a good value for your money; booking ahread of time and on internet saves you at least 50% off of the list price or walk-in price. Rooms are small but clean and service is decent. I had an extended stay and was reasonably happy with the cleanliness of the room and location. Close to MRT.

This is by far the most horrible hotel I have ever stayed in. Please do not stay here. The bathroom floodes when you take a shower, the towels are very small and thin, the bed is uncomfortable, the room smelled horrible, the size of the room is ridiculus, too small, we had ants in our room and we could hear everything in the next room.

The hotel was not difficult to find . It was properly placed near a MRT, Lavender(a metro station). All food stuff were found near the hotel. Thanks Expedia & Co. for keeping the booking so simple and didnot face any difficulty contrary to my belief. Borgohain B K, Kolkata

We spend one night, because of delays in connecting flights. We had booked a Superior Room. The room we were offered was on level 2, and was a tiny airless shoebox with no windows at all. Very claustrophobic. The corridor outside the room also smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. We asked to be moved to another room.. The replacement room (which they […] proudly called a "superior" room) was slightly bigger, but also had no windows at all. At least the air-conditioning reduced the level of stuffiness and and feeling of claustrophobia a bit. The hotel had more of the feel of a budget backpackers hostel - there were no carpets on the floors, and the bathroom did not have the amenities to which travellers these days have become accustomed (small soap, small individual bottles or sachets of shampoo and conditioner and shower gel) but rather had a dispenser of anonymous gel of some sort bolted to the wall in the shower stall. Towels were thin and threadbare, and no wash cloth or shower mat to stand on whilst drying oneself. The sheets on the bed were too small for the mattress. The breakfast options were also severely limited. This was also the first hotel we found in our 20-day trip around Asia that did not offer soya milk. On the plus side, the reception staff did try to help us, and were very friendly. Mehr

The price is quite resonable but dont ck in before 3 pm for they will charge u additional day just the shower in the bathroom have no seperation fr the toilet when u shower water goes all over the bathroom.,very convenient location to the mrt.

If I could of rated it 0 I would of. When we first got to the hotel we found out the rooms had no windows. I certainly don't remember reading that anywhere. Next when we got into the room there was a buzzing noise so loud you could barely hear someone speak. The staff were disinterested in the problem but eventually did look at it and fix it. The room […] was very basic but for the price that is what I expected. The bed however felt like a slab of marble. It was also covered in plastic which gave the vibe that these rooms were normally paid for by the hour. In the morning there was no hot water. Did not bother with the staff since they were too busy talking and obviously did not want to be interrupted. Next morning still no hot water. When we finally could get a staff member to listen we found out they turn off the hot water and you have to turn it back on yourself. So finally the next morning we have hot water. However the shower head is so dreadful that you might as well drip water on yourself from a syringe. The one good thing about the hotel was the breakfast. Make sure you go down when they first open though or you may miss out. They were often too busy to serve us or they closed early and we missed out. We were booked in for 7 nights but could only manage to stay for 4. In the end the hotel was so awful we chose to lose our money and check out early. Mehr

The hotel well located with access to MRT for moving around. There are foodcourts and several restaurants near by. Shopping malls are within walking distance. This is a hotel that gives you nothing but the barest of service. NO free internet or WiFi, and they charge for use of the workstations in the lobby. I enjoyed my 4 day stay at the Fragrance Imperial, Singapore. The location was the only item I was not happy with : most cab drivers are not aware of this location, no neighbourhood attractions, restaurants, dificult to get hold of a cab most times. Good things: 1. We got a good rate from Hotels.com 2. Very courteous and professional staff 3. Clean room Not so good things: 1. The free breakfast was not worth it. We should have gone out. 2. Rooms are cramped (probably 120/150 sq ft) 3. This hotel should have carpet on the hallway floors. I couldn't sleep because every person's step and voice echoed so loudly, as though there were a stampede and shouting match right outside my door. (The rooms are tiny, so the bed is just 5 steps away from the door). I could not sleep and I'm not a light sleeper-type.

hotel is very much accessible to mrt - just about 2 blocks away/around 3 - 5mins. walk.. the hotel also has a 7/11 mart at the ground floor -- this was very useful to us since we usually arrive late in the hotel in the evening - around 11pm and we still haven't had dinner. the 7/11 staff was also very accommodating and allowed us to use the microwave […] oven so we can reheat our brought food. 3 computer workstations are also set up in the lobby for internet use at a price, and also has a printer for use by guests.. the free breakfast was also nice, though us Filipinos would have preferred that there be a choice for rice meals. The staff in the cafe were very accommodating also. all in all, i never regret my booking in the hotel. what i liked most was that it was very convenient to come and go since the hotel was very near the lavender mrt station. , if we come back to singapore, would definitely stay in the hotel again.. ^_^ Mehr

First I found very unfriendly staff. They said there was no booking. Then even that wi-fi was included in reservation and printed in receipt I was told no! and that it was my problem. Vi fick ett rum utan fönster 1:a natten, fanns inga andra rum..rummet var bedrövligt, vi fick knappt någon sömn fas vi var uttröttade. 2:a natten ett hyfsat rum. Dagens planerade aktiviteter kunde bara utföras till hälften. Kan inte rekommendera hotellet då man kan få rum utan fönster.

Min datter og jeg kom med 2 store kufferter+ det løse men INGEN antydede at de vile hjælpe, så vi fandt selv vognen til kufferter og fik dem bakset op på værelset og vi returnederede den til receptionen. På visse tider var der endda 3 personer i den lille reception. Jeg havde læst at der var frit internet,men desværre nej - her var de dog gavmilde idet […] de forærede os det i 24 timer.
