Hotel Tre Leoni - Somma Lombardo

We had trouble finding the place owing to the vagaries of our satnav which took us down back streets and wanted us to drive over a railway line! In fact the hotel is near the centre of the village of Somma Lombardo, and conveniently located for local facilities and the airport. When we arrived we were told our room wasn't in the hotel but in a residence […] which they own a few minutes drive away. The hotel minibus led us there, and in fact the room was a comfortable suite. Went back to the hotel for an evening meal, which was good and not too expensive, and breakfast, which was OK and free. All in all, friendly staff, clean and comfortable and good value. Mehr

Very basic room but was clean and we needed a room for 5. Shuttle back and forht form main hotel to apartment was 5 minutes. Good food but surprisingly overpriced. Sweet older man who drove was a delight:)

We chose Tre Leoni for its proximity to Malpensa airport and found it to be very pleasant and practical. Shuttle service for the two of us alone was instantaneous and courteous, as was the same service back the next morning. Room quite good, breakfast far from lavish but OK, staff friendly and efficient. Recommanded.

This hotel is ok if you are flying out the next day as it’s vey close to the Malpensa Airport. We as a family of 5 couldn’t find many other choices within our budget. The hotel placed us in an apartment complex about half a mile away, it was ok but we didn’t get to experience the hotel itself. We had a good experience. The only odd thing was that the driver picked us up at the airport in Milan (MXP) and took us to what we thought was the hotel. They tried their best to explain to us we just checked in at that building and they would shuttle us to another building that actually had our room. The room was very nice. There were 4 adults so we […] were concerned about feeling cramped. The room was more like a remodeled apartment and was very spacious. It was actually 2 rooms and a bathroom. Very clean and fairly quiet. The staff were all very nice but didn't speak much English. They did their best to communicate with us and help us any way they could. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone on a budget needing accommodations near the airport in Milan. It was only about a 10 minute ride to/from the airport. Mehr

This hotel was in a good location - a short drive to Malpensa airport considering how far out of Milan the airport is. I would only recommend this if you are looking for a place to sleep before a morning flight... The hotel is not all at one location, after arriving and unloading the car we were told at the reception that we were staying at another […] location - had to drive there and drive back in the morning to check-out and retrieve passport. The "other" location was like an apartment building, no staff, but it did have gated/secure parking. Also, there was NO internet as advertised. Room was basic: beds and bathroom, though the floor didn't appear to have been swept or washed in a long time, but the sheets appeared clean. We would try another hotel next time. Mehr

the reseption&breakfast were located far from the rooms - you have to drive. the room were very basic and no isolation between the rooms

UN HOTEL DA PRENDERE IN CONSIDERAZIONE SE SI DEVE PARTIRE AD ORARI SCOMODI DALL'AEROPORTO DI MALPENSA. MOLTO PULITO, IL PERSONALE E' MOLTO GENTILE E LA COLAZIONE SERVITA ANCHE GIA' ALLE 4 DEL MATTINO E' ABBONDANTE. LO CONSIGLIO E IL RAPPORTO QUALITA' PREZZO E' OTTIMO.

L'hotel e' organizzatissimo per gestire i clienti che devono partire all'alba da Malpensa. La colazione inizia alle 4.30 del mattino. Certo non ci si deve aspettare il servizio di un 5 stelle, ma le camere sono tutte nuove, la cortesia del personale e' pazzesca e la vicinanza a Malpensa e' il top.

Hotellet var bra men eftersom vi hyrde en 4-rums lägenhet fick vi bo en bra bit utanför orten och där fanns ingenting att se.

Vi overnattet her i 2010 og benyttet hotellet også nå i år både vede inn og utreise. Vi er en familie på 5, og hotellet har noen mindre leiligheter som ligger i annet bygg i tettstedet. Dette gjør at vi får rimlig overnatting. Det er kort vei til flyplassen herfra.

Room was clean but very dated, and the whole impression of the building in general is more like 1 star hotel, not 3. Very low standard. Breakfast was really poor, and not at a walkable distance from where the room was. They picked us up with a car and drove there. Weird. Employees were nice and helpfull.

Var med familjen (2 vuxna och 3 barn) på semester i Italien och behövde ett hotell nära Malpensa flygplats i Milano. Finns inte så många hotell med plats för 5 i rummet men detta låg nära flygplatsen (5-10 minuter med bil) och var billigt. Vi bodde i en lägenhet med två rum + dusch/toa cirka 400-500 meter från själva hotellet. Inga direkta sevärdheter […] (vad vi kunde hitta) i Somma Lombardo, dock låg en stor supermarket "Il Gigante" 500-1000 meter från hotellet där man kunde sätta sprätt på sina sista Euro. Mehr

The hotel is quite good for the price. The breakfast is not a big deal but it is ok. Be careful when you check out to verify the bill. They wanted to charge me the FREE airport transfer, I had a dinner and for them 15+5+3= 29€!!!!

Rummet bestod av 2 queen size sängar och inte 4 enkel sängar som vi blivit lovade. Rummet var väldigt litet och inga extra lakan fanns i rummet. pick up service från och till flygplatsen fungerade utmärkt. Frukosten var hyfsad. Man får vad man betalar för!!

Ett mycket bra hotell för den som vill övernatta nära flygplatsen men ändå i en liten stad/by med kultur, affärer och restauranger. Mycket bra rum för övernattning och frukost. Detta hotell är verkligen anpassat för de som ska flyga tidigt på morgonen.

ottimo hotel, confortevole vicino all'aeroporto di malpensa, dotato di un'ottimo ristorante con cucina toscana. Lo consiglio.

Non scegliere questo hotel se vuoi dormire tranquillo.
