einfach, aber gut!

wer ein preiswertes Zimmer für eine Nacht sucht wird hier wohl zufrieden sein

Das Hotel ist eher eine ausgediente Jugendherberge, alt, abgewohnt, schmuddelig. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer - eines mit, das andere ohne Bad. Das Bad war allerdings so klein, dass man eher von Dusch-Toiletten-Kabine sprechen kann. Das Waschbecken befand sich im Zimmer. Jeder Gast sollte Wissen, dass es sich bei dem Hotel um eine Art Jugendherberge handelt. Duschen & WC befinden sich auf dem Gang. Zimmer haben die beste Zeit längst hinter sich. The location is not bad. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. If you use google map, the hotel name is YWCA, not Banff Y Mountain Lodge.

It is a comfortable place to stay but as it is mostly teenagers and young adults that stay there it is highly noisy specially at night when people are trying to sleep

Good place to sleep, not too much else to offer!

In the booking time wireless internet was included but they are providing with charge.

No free wireless, you have to share the bathroom with other 2 or 3 rooms... Not a romantic place at all, cleanliness not so great, just use it if you want a place to sleep at night and spend the rest of your day elsewhere...

Beware of this "hotel". True it is a good bargain for Banff . However, what isn't clear from Hotels.com is that this is a lodge/hostel operated by the YMCA. The room was clean but in poor repair. Our room was stifling hot even with the small window open. This also means you must listen to the drunk youngsters come home and a endless parade of loud tour […] buses rumble past until at least 2 am when we finally dropped off only to be wakened a short time later by some more drunks outside on the grass. As stated there is no tv which is fine except to read you must move the chairs next to the bed to see by the one lamp. The shower is literally much less than 3 ft square and generally runs from scalding your flesh off to icy cold. As you try to lift your leg in vain to soap it since bending over is impossible these temperature shifts are especially traumatic since there is no way to move out of the way as you occupy the entire space of the shower at all times. Finally, feeling less then clean you stumble into the muggy heat of the dimly lit room that sounds like a bus terminal and lay your head down on the pillow only to discover the pillow feels like a bag of wadded up socks from too many washings. A cheap close to downtown to stay but not for families or adults used to a traditional hotel. Mehr

It was not apparent when booking the stay that this is the YWCA. The Y was clean but had no tv's in the room. It is close to town and the price was reasonable.

Very clean but other than that positve it was all down hill! Two double beds in a room not big enough for a single! No TV, clock didnt work, no shampoo, no air conditioning, not enough parking when full, shower was extremely small!!!!!!!! It did have a nice coffee shop.

If you stay here understand that the property is basic, but well maintained. We were, however, located next to young boys who made some noise late in the evening. It would have been better to be more isolated from them. A shared bathroom was down the hall, but we survived. The room had only one electrical wall outlet. They had great kitchen, well equipped […] with refrigerators and all the tools we needed to prepare an evening meal. Meal service was provided on site, but we did not use it. On site parking for our rental car was available. You cannot beat the price in this location, unless you camp out. My wife and I are seasoned world travelers, age 69 and 65 respectively. We were on a month-long driving trip to see national parks in the Rockies in the US and Canada. This property was one of roughly 25 in which we stayed. Mehr

It's a kind of hotel that you can sleep in the night.. No A/C, You have to keep window open and ear plug on...

We had a hard time finding it even with the GPS. we didn't realize it was also an YWCA. It was clean and everything but had no T.V. or even a clock radio. Just a place to put your head down for the night. Close to downtown so we spent the eveing there . Good night sleep. Beautiful area

Beautiful location, convenient, but sparse room amenities. Great for travelling on a budget.

I am not satisfied with this hotel even if its close to the city centre I dont like the stay there because the room that they gave to me was not that good, the blinds was not working, we have to cover our face with the sheet because the bright from outside is coming to our room and we have to wake up early the next day because of that. So, I dont like […] to recommend this to other. The building is a little old for me. Mehr

Easy booking in, cheap and chearful, if you want a no frills stay then this is the place for you.

pretty good hotel... you're in banff so how much time are you really spending in your hotel? affordable and pretty good location, 2 minute walk from downtown disctrict

When we arrived I was surprised to find this was a youth hostel not a hotel as the advertising depicted. Not as quiet as I would have preferred.

ils indiquent que le parking est gratuit pour les clients pendant le séjour, mais faut-il encore qu'il y ait de la place! Pour le reste, c'est un très bon hotel pour les gens de passage qui ne recherchent pas le grand luxe mais juste un endroit bien situé pour dormir.

Nous avions de la poussières en abondance sous le lit. Le ménage est fait au 2 jours. La cuisine est fonctionnel mais quelques personnes laisse leurs vaisselles sales. Chambre petite. Manque de place de stationnement, il faut stationner par fois loin de l'entrée. Pour le prix payé, nous nous attendions à plus.

Nous y avons passé une très bonne nuit, et il est vrai que l'endroit est un peu bruyant (le long d'une route fréquentée et hôtel occupée par beaucoup de jeunes). Ceci dit, l'endroit est très bien situé, le long de la rivière, proche du centre-ville et des plusieurs sites touristiques.

Bene ! Se posso ci ritorno in settimana per un'altra escursione.

it was the worst hotel during my trip. the room lacks TV. so small. especially the bed is so uncomfortable. avoid this hotel

　ありこちと観光に出かけやすい､町中にもボウ川、ボウ滝、温泉にも近いという利便性に恵まれたホテル。 　６泊利用させて貰ってまだ足りないという反省。丁度７月１日の「カナダデイ」にも当たり､素敵な出し物を見ることが出来ました。 　拠点にして３つの国立公園を散策することができたのはこのホテルのお陰ですで。 　ありがとうです。 　お世話になりました。

La nostra prima volta in un ostello ci ha pienamente soddisfatti. In realtà sembra un albergo a tutti gli effetti, personale disponibilissimo, camere essenziali ma carine, ottima posizione. Consiglio questo ostello a tutti quelli che , come noi, non vogliono spendere una fortuna in questa zona molto esclusiva e costosa.
