Everything about this hotel, including its appearance (handsome lobby), furnishings (granite tops on the dresser and in the large bathroom), amenities (free WiFi, breakfast, and cocktails), and surrounding neighborhood were very impressive. The room was very comfortable, attractive, & pleasant. It was great to have an evening buffet with drinks, though the food was nothing special - hot dogs, mac & cheese, chili, baked potatoes. The Dury Inn is in a great location in West Des Moines that provided a great contential breakfast as well as appitizers and drinks after 5 PM. We slept great in the room and the hotel was very clean.

Hotel was overall very nice. I did find that late a night whenever I needed to ask the front desk person a question...no one was there. I had to wait. Also I only had one garbage can in my room and it made it difficult at times with three adults staying in the room. I had to empty it many times on my own.

I stayed there w/ my spouse. We've stayed here multiple times because of the quality and service. I plan to stay here in the future. mt

The Drury Inn in West Des Moines, Ia is well worth the extra money to stay there. They offer free popcorn and soda pop most of the evening. Their 5:30 pm Sidekick is more than hot snacks---it's a meal and wonderfully delicious!! The hotel is very clean. The staff was very nice. We truly enjoyed our stay! We stopped to just see if we could check in around 1p.m. and they checked us in right away at 9:30a.m.! The snacks at night were enough for us that we didn't need to get supper and the drinks were NOT weak! The breakfast was wonderful also! It was worth the money for sure! Supper,3 drinks per adult per room, along with a breakfast! […] We didn't use the pool but the hot tub was great! We can't wait to go back! If it would have been warmer and not raining we would have walked to the Funny Bone! Mehr

Family friendly, nice facilities and really nice rooms this is a great hotel. The staff are very accommodating, the meals and refreshments in the lobby are good. The area in which the hotel is located has great restaurants, cute shops, fun bars and a huge Target. Drury Inn and Suites was great. Close to all highways no mater which direction you are coming from or going. Great area. Nice family owned Italian restaurant, sushi/chinese, and bar are right across the street behind the hotel and easy to talk to. Breakfast is fine for being free with the room, but stay away from the biscuits and gravy. They were either […] from a can or just not make right. The gravy is sooooo key for Biscuits and gravy. I have stayed at Drury Inn in several cities, and I can always count on them to provide a nice hotel, excellent service, and a very competetive price. Their breakfast and happy hour are great!

My stay here for business was as expected - very nice, clean, quiet, and within minutes of the Jordan Creek area. I was impressed with everything about the hotel and would definitely stay here again.

My family had an early Christmas get together & The Drury Inn in West Des Moines worked for all of us to meet. We checked in with Kendra that evening. She answered all of our questions and helped us with our needs. It was late but she was smiling & full of energy. What wonderful customer service! She also helped us check-out the next day, which was […] a bonus to see her again & wish her a Merry Christmas! The room was very comfortable, big fluffy pillows, and a nice big bathroom. The staff were all friendly throughout our stay. Staff took care of our every concern. Some of my family (20+ people) showed up for the buffet breakfast on Sunday morning before we all went to our homes in other states. Thank you for allowing families to come & pay a small fee for that amazing breakfast! We chatted & laughed for hours! The Drury Inn & Suites made our family Christmastime together wonderful & homey, even far away. PS. The amazing shopping just around the hotel allowed us to shop & shop and we never had to drive anywhere. Great boutique shopping, restaurants, salons, coffee houses, and Antique junction up the road. We stayed 2 nights, we went to Wicked and Christmas shopping. We were very impressed with the hot breakfast and evening meal. The popcorn and soda served free was a bonus. I being a diabetic appreciated the microwave and fridge in the room for quick access to meds and food. The staff were very pleasant. The Super Target store right next to the hotel […] is a great plus also. The only thing that we could complain about was a party either above us or beside us came in at 4:00 in the morning and screamed and carried on for an hour and a half. But we did not report it because we could not figure out where it was coming from. We would definitely stay again. Mehr

This was our first time staying at the Drury Inn and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there over Thanksgiving weekend. Very new looking, clean rooms and very helpful and friendly staff. Fairly close to Jordan Creek Mall and several restaurants to choose from. This hotel looks new and is located in an up-and-coming area with lots of restaurants and shopping in walking distance. Its convenience to major thoroughfares and its amenities are enough to make it my new favorite Des Moines hotel. Extras like the manager's special (with enough choices it could double as a quick dinner), and a nice breakfast selection […] were consistent on all five days of our stay. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean, and the room itself was very large and comfortable - and included a mini-fridge, microwave, and a huge jacuzzi soaking tub. This hotel was the best hotel we have stayed at in Des Moines in the past 10 years- cost was right, location excellent and the service was awesome. Best of all, it has a nightly "snacking hour" that serves buffalo wings that my husband could not get enough of. It was nice to have a little snack in the evening available.

Very clean, new hotel. Once the shopping center next door fills up there will be a lot to do. The outdoor fountains next door was an unexpected surprise. The pool was small, but we liked the indoor/outdoor aspect. They made us very welcome!

The Drury Inn & Suites has a great location! Close to Jordan Creek Mall, lots of strip mall stores, & restaurants. Drury does a great breakfast & evening "reception" with enough hot food to make it a meal. We thought all of their rooms were suites, though, & ended up with a standard 2 queen room. We got by, but it was kind of tight with 2 little ones […] & our daughter. Mehr

We started staying at this location shortly after it opened because of the location. We continue to stay there not only for the location but we love the pool, the staff is great and our grandkids love the breakfast buffet!

Very helpful and attentive staff. I do wish the free food and wine/beer would be stepped up a bit to better labels and something more than boiled hot dogs. Could not close drapes all the way in our room so lights from outside parking lot were annoying at night. Confusing as to which exit and which direction from the freeway to take. We were here to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Drury Inn was a wonderful place. It was very close to everywhere we wanted to go. We really enjoyed the free little Happy Hour they had. I think that is a huge gift they give to their guest. Breakfast was your normal free breafast, but it was still good. We selected this hotel as it was close to things we wanted to do. Found out when we checked in that the place was 'crawling' with H.S. kids that were there for a basketball tournament. The front desk mentioned that if we had any problems with noise, to notify them immediately. We had no problems at all. The hotel was managed /maintained very professionally. […] It was a great stay. We arrived at the hotel around 6pm to check in and were informed that there was free food in the dining area until 7pm. We also received a voucher for 3 free alcoholic drinks. Don't get me wrong, the food wasn't fine dining, but it saved us money for not having to go out. The hotel is very close to the Jordan Creek Mall and is located in the West Glenn […] Town Center. These are both great places for shopping and dining. I would say that the only complaint that I would have would be that the smoke alarm blinked little green lights all night, which in our dark room looked like an airplane in the sky, but it wasn't too bright. We just didn't know what it was at first. Anyway, the experience was actually very good for us and we would definately go back again. Mehr

The hotel is right off I-35 and easily visible from the highway. It is in a very nice area and in the center of a shopping center, with shops, restaurants, Super Target, etc. I loved that the hotel offers a free hot breakfast, as well as an evening array of free snacks and drinks. Close to shopping and restaurants. Great location for getting around. Staff was accomodating. There was a group meeting there for the days we were also there. Breakfast buffet was great with the staff there very friendly - very clean. Have stayed before and will stay there again.

The hotel was upscale at an affordable price point. Rooms were well appointed, comfortable and clean. Public areas were very clean and well maintained. Made for a great stayover experience.

Great accomodations for the price. Don't know why you would stay elsewhere when you get so much more for the same price! Great stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this Inn. The breakfast was wonderful. The room was great, clean, crisp I really cannot say any bad things. The staff was very friendly, check in was truly easy, all they wanted was my ID, I received my keys and went straight to my room. I asked about a resturant and was directed to a very nice place.

the rooms air conditioning was very poor and the hotel allowed kid to run up and down the hallway hitting the door handles of the room. The kids next door to our room played with a ball banging it on the wall till 12am. I contacted the front desk they then stoped that and banged on the door throughtout the night
