Residences UQAM Est - Montreal

I stayed here for three days in the height of summer. The only complaint is that there is no air conditioning. However, there is a fan. If you want to see […] Montreal, be in a GREAT location, and are more interested in exploring the city than going to a hotel spa, this is for you. The beds are average comfort, there are private to the room bathrooms and it is relatively quiet and its an amazing price for the location. That's all I need. Mehr

This is not actually a bad choice for budget travellers, but be aware that there is no airconditioning. Probably no problem most of the year but in summer months, it can be quite bad, the whole building is radiating heat. This was an uncomfortable place to stay. A college dorm room, not a hotel. No air conditioning, July in Montreal. I did not enjoy it

This is not a Hotel. It is litterly A College Campus. They are Dorm Studio Rooms! No AC. No Tv, but in the common room. It is however close to all Transit system. It was the cheapiest in the area during the Grand Prix. For what was paid, it wasn't a value. A walk in cloest is bigger. TV's are not availiable even if the information at Hotel.com says […] it is. Basically it is a dormitory with no parking facilities!

This is not a hotel, but a university which during the summer rents its dorm rooms out as hotel rooms. Be prepared for no AC, no TV, shampoo, hair dryer, towels etc. You must bring all your own things. The bed is small and very hard and cheap. Hostels have more comfort and hospital rooms are more appealing. No airconditioning except a fan that spreads the heat. No t.v. unless you pay extra and then you only get 3 channels as there is no cable. Very overpriced for the quality and not recommended.

I guess this is basically a dormitory in which they rent out certain floors as hotel rooms. There is no air conditioning and the ceiling fan did little to make the room comfortable with the summer humidity. It was almost impossible to sleep in the hot, sticky room. You could not open the window due to the noise from the surrounding side walk and street […] traffic. The bed was supposed to be a double, but was actually a twin bed with and addition on it. You could see and feel the crack between the mattress and the added on foam piece. The room was very spartan. No TV! Thanks to the tile floors through out it was pretty clean. This is a hotel of last resort. I visit Montreal often and would not stay here again. Mehr

Il fait chaud, c'est très petit il n'y a pas d'air climatisé enfin c'est pas super...!

Pas d'air climatisé alors chaleur TRES intense au 7ieme étage en plein centre ville. Nous avions le choix entre le bruit d'une artère bruyante et une chaleur suffocante. Surement ok en hiver...
