Das Hotel hat nur eine direkte "Sehenswürdigkeit" in der Nähe - den Flughafen Guarulhos in Sao Paulo. Mit einem Flughafenshuttle war das die perfekte Lösung, wie wir den 06:00 Flieger nahmen konnten, ohne das Risiko von nicht erscheinenden Taxis, Staus o.Ä. einzugehen und auch ohne die Notwendigkeit um 02:00 aufzustehen. Hotel ist sauber und recht komfortabel, Abendessen war auch ok, können wir für genau diesen Zweck weiterempfehlen. Nach Sao Paulo geht es nicht ohne Auto und ist auch noch relativ weit auf einer Dauerstauautobahn.

Der Service war sehr gut, das Personal überaus freundlich. Aufgrund der nahen Hauptstraße leider lärmig. Mit Ohrenstopfen ist die Nachtruhe gewährleistet.

Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, nur 2 Blocks zur U-Bahn und zur Hauptstr. Av, Paulista. Die Leute an der Rezeption sind sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, das Frühstücksbuffett (nicht inkl) großartig, mit frisch gepressten Obstsäften etc. Ich war schon oft in Sao Paulo, aber im MM hat mir das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis am besten gefallen. Schön auch: Man hat ein kl.Appartment, separates Schlafzimmer etc. Einziger Nachteil der eigenen Mini-Küche: die Mikrowelle hatte einen Stecker, der nicht passte (=sie funktionierte nicht), und es gab kein Besteck (Teller und Tassen etc schon, aber das Müsli isst sich ohne Löffel schlecht). Ansonsten: alles bestens!

"Bester Ausgangspunkt für die schönen Seiten von SP"
Wir (Paar, diesmal ohne Kinder gereist) verbrachten im November 2010 fünf Nächte im Royal Jardins Hotel in Sao Paulo und waren absolut zufrieden. Die Lage ist ideal: 300 m von der U-Bahn-Station Trianon entfernt im vornehmen Stadtteil Jardins. Banken, Supermärkte, Friseure, Einkaufszentren, Apotheken, das Museum für Kunst und ein Park sind zu Fuß zu […] erreichen. Die nah gelegene Avenida Paulista ist zumindest tagsüber stark polizeilich überwacht. Wir waren aber bis Mitternacht unterwegs in der Gegend, und uns ist nichts passiert. Das ist natürlich keine Einladung zum Leichtsinn, nur hatten wir mit einer schärferen Situation gerechnet, was Kriminalität in Sao Paulo betrifft. Das Hotelpersonal ist besonders freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück ist lecker und besteht aus mehreren frischen Obstsorten und Säften, verschiedenen Brotsorten, Kuchen und Gebäck, Käse, Aufschnitt, Rührei, warmem Würstchen und sogar japanischem Essen. Der Kaffee ist sehr gut. Unser Schlafzimmer war klein, aber schön und sauber. Das Bett war groß und bequem mit superangenehmer Bettwäsche. Weitere Pluspunkte: Lärmisolierte Fenster, gut eingerichtetes Bad mit Fön, Vergrößerungsspiegel, Kleiderhaken und Wäscheleine(!), riesengroße Duschkabine, funktionierende Klimaanlage, zusätzlich lassen sich die Fenster öffnen zum Lüften. Die Gäste waren in der Mehrheit private Reisegruppen, Paare und Geschäftsreisende, wobei die Einheimischen eher jung und die Ausländer eher älter waren. Wir sahen eine einzige Familie mit Kindern. Wir waren vor der Reservierung durch die Fotos auf der Homepage etwas abgeschreckt: Die Einrichtung sieht nämlich dunkel und düster auf den Bildern, aber das Riskieren hat sich gelohnt. In Wirklichkeit sind Zimmer und Frühstücksraum total lichtdurchflutet. Das Hotel verfügt noch über einen kleinen Wellnessbereich, den wir allerdings nicht probierten. "Royal Jardins Boutique Hotel"
We stayed in March 2012, and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay. Location was in a safe neighbourhood with good restaurants closeby. Staff were absolutely excellent: very helpful, looked up information for us, always a smile for us. Thank you so much!

"Hotel in Sao Paolo metropolis"
Wasn't sure what to expect as some of the reviews of this hotel were quite mixed, but overall positive. I was pleasantly surprised by the comfort of this hotel which was very good. I was on a first floor room and although looking onto the street, it was quiet and the air-con very effective. Excellent wi-fi service. Beds comfortable. Staff friendly and […] helpful, eg for getting taxis when needed. Used gym and was good for treadmill and cold water. Breakfasts were excellent with lots of good fresh fruit and breads of all types. Surrounding area is interesting, with lots of shops and mixture of restaurants with mostly Italian flavouir. I got this on a 3-night for 2 option and felt it was good value. Mehr
"nice hotel, nice location, let down by silly thing"
So I stayed here for three nights with my two brothers. We had a nice stay but the one problem which although seems minor is something which you would not expect in a 4* establishment. This was no iron!! Can you believe it and what got me going even more was that there was an iron but because housekeeping was not available (it was 5pm Sunday) they could […] not even lend it to me. I found this completely odd and would not stay in a place which would not even have the courtesy to lend you an iron. Mehr

1- El wifi no funciono la mayoria del tiempo de mi estadia 2- El fitness room es impossible de user, no solo sue no tine buena ventilacion pq esta en el 2do subsuelo, sino sue el wire se mezcla con el cal or del sauna 3- Definitivamente no se lo puede catalogar como un hotel boutique, es un medio hotel de negocios
"Horrible service"
First, when I arrived, your voucher was not honored !!! They actually charged me again !!! Then, the wireless was dead. At check out, they still said that they couldnt find the reservation (eventhough I gave them the print out) They solved it only 12 hours later. Do not stay at this hotel !!!
This hotel caters to business travelers and provided everything I needed for a short stay. Juliana at the front desk is especially helpful. A couple of quibbles - 1) the fitness center is very spartan (no exercise bike, for example) and the garden, though restful, can only be accessed through the restaurant - which means it is only open when the restaurant […] is. The location is great and easily accessible to metro. FYI, those traveling light can save a bundle on taxi fares to/from Guarulhos Airport by taking the airport bus to/from Tatuape metro. Mehr
"Lovely hotel"
Lovely hotel at good location. Only thing was that the beautifun back yard garden was not always open. It would have been nice to have a drink and work in there.
"Not very good service or upkeep"
The telephone in my room did not work the entire stay and no one came to repair it even though I reported this to reception 3 times. The staff was nice. The breakfast was fine. The room was a bit spartan and the bedding was not especially nice. The first night there was no blanket on my bed and a pillow was missing a pillowcase. Since the telephone […] did not function, I had to go to reception to report these things. The safe in my room did not work so I told an employee who said he would send someone to fix it. After waiting 30 minutes, I went downstairs again. They sent a supervisor to my room with a repair man. They could not fix it so I left without putting my valuable in a safe and was late for my meeting for having to wait for them. The next day I told reception that the safe did not work and this person advised me that you have to pay to rent the safe. It might have saved me a lot of time if they told me that the first time. The hotel was very centrally located in the Jardins area which relatively upscale. It's a boutique hotel, clean and very well kept. The restaurant is rather small, but there are a number of very nice restaurants you can walk to or take a taxi. Walking distance to good sites and shopping. Hotel has no Iron available for guests. This means paying around $10 for ironing one shirt. No early checkin even if room is ready and avialable. Tried to charge me half a day tll I complained then they relented and let ne in earlier. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel as the staff was very friendly, the room was extra clean and the internet was excellent. the TV and channels could be improved. overall it was perfect for the price and the neighborhood was really nice.

"Royal Jardins Sao Paulo: big thumbs up"
This hotel was fantastic, I would give 4.5 stars if I could. The only thing keeping it from a perfect review is the restaurant, which was AWFUL. I was really surprised that such a great hotel could have such a terrible restaurant. But aside from that, everything was terrific. Great location very close to Avenida Paulista (the main shopping area), nice […] lobby, good rooms, great service, and $100 cheaper than any other decent hotels nearby. Just make sure to eat at a restaurant in the neighborhood, not the one here. You'll have a perfect time. Mehr
"Ideal for the business traveller and holiday maker"
A very nice hotel to stay. Only a couple of streets away from the main Shopping and business road, Ave Paulista. The hotel itself is very nicely decorated and the rooms are comfortable and clean with the all important shower with the ability to imitate a garage forecourt jetwash if on full. Breakfast was ideal and varied even though a buffet, choice […] of Fruit, pastries and cooked proteins. As I was on a business trip, it was handy to have internet in the room, cabled and wireless, as I often had to work in the evening which meant room service was the required meal of the day. I found this to be very efficient and the meals were more than acceptable, the rump steak is delivered as two steaks, ideal for the carnivores amongst us. Overall a very nice stay and as my flight wasn't too late, they were more than happy to let me have the room for 4 hours past the check out time. Would definately stay again. Mehr

I'm a bit picky with food, so my only insatisfaction was the quality of the room service even though breakfast was ok. Handy location though and bells boys are efficient with getting you taxis etc. It annoys me though that hotels in Brazil dont let you use their ironning board and instead ask you to pay a fortune for their laundry service. "Beware of fake charges"
Fantastic hotel, fantastic location, fantastic deal from hotels.com! Breakfast was great. Free wireless internet was fast. Neighborhood is very hip. If you don't stand out as a tourist, you'll be safe even at night. I strongly recommend this hotel with 2 caveats: 1. Don't ask the hotel staff to get a cab to the airport, get one yourself. The staff takes […] a cut and hence the cab will cost you R100. Typical meter rate to GRU is $75. 2. Check your bill carefully. We stayed there twice, one fro 1 night and the other time for 3 nights. Both times at check out they added some fake charges. Once it was R64 for a dinner for 2. The other time it was R72 for the minibar. We disputed the charges and they took it off our bill immediately. These fake charges have happened to us many times in Brazil. I don't know if the cashiers are just inefficient or sneaky. Mehr

I travel to Sao Paulo 3-4 times per year on business for the last 5 years, and this is the best place I ever stayed at for the value. Service, personnel, attention, compares to the 5 stars at double the price…small restaurant, excellent breakfast, no bar, if you do not require a 5 star restaurant and bar at the hotel, this is a very good place to stay […] at….the room service food is very good and a surprising nice wine list…excellent bedding material, wonderful sheets and towels…and the internet is include in the price of the room as well as breakfast, unlike most hotels in Sao Paulo…within walking distance there are 10/12 good restaurants, as well as a small supermarket around the corner a block away…definitely I will always return here. "Not a 4 star but great/safe location"
Definitely not a standard 4 star hotel, it lacks charm/design and some amenities. Also, the doors/walls are not soundproof. However, the staff is friendly, and it is very conveniently located just 2 blocks from Av. Paulista. The area is very safe, close to the "Madison Ave" of Sao Paulo.

"Está bem longe de ser um Hotel Boutique"
O hotel está muito bem localizado no bairro Jardins. É possível ir a pé até as principais ruas do bairro (R. Oscar Freire). O serviço é bom, o quarto e o banheiro são limpos. Contudo,o quarto é bem pequeno, as toalhas são velhas, o café da manhã é regular e não há nada, a nosso ver, que o qualifique como hotel boutique.

Hospedei-me com minha filha e logo à princípio gostei bastante do atendimento da recepção. Como o apartamento ainda não estava pronto, deixamos as malas com segurança e fomos passear. O quarto, embora pequeno, é bastante aconchegante, bem decorado e oferece mimos inesperados como roupões, kits de barbear e de costura, escova de dentes e pasta (sempre […] esqueço quando viajo e preciso procurar uma farmácia perto do hotel) além dos tradicionais sabonete, shampoo e creme. O banho também é ótimo, com banheiro espaçoso e ducha forte. O Café da manhã também é bom e os garçons são gentis. A proximidade da Oscar Freire e do Conjunto Nacional, sem falar das linhas de metrô da Paulista, fazem do hotel uma ótima opção de lazer. gostei muito do hotel e atendimento, mas tenho que ressaltar que o hotel nao pode por nos banheiros toalhas velhas como foi colocado no meu banheiro. chamei a camareira e pedi que trocasse e nao repetisse mais, pois nao sai da minha casa para usar toalhas velhas em hotel 4 estrelas.isso nao pode acontece, só trocaram porque pedi, isso é um absurdo,o […] hotel tem que ter sempre toalhas grandes e novas. brasileiro tem que ser tratado muito bem, nao é 'so estrangeiro. espero que isso nao ocorra mais. no geral o hotel é bem confortavel e bem localizado.
