So I got some great service only to be plagued by an extra charge that I didn't forsee.

I thought the room was very comfortable for the price I paid for it. I live that breakfast was offered in the morning. It wasn't a 5-star meal but something is better than nothing.

price, and breakfast, and front desk clerk were good. room is small, parking sucks, only about five parking spots in back of hotel which i wouldn't feel comfortable parking after sunset. and impossible to find using gps. will not stay here again and wouldn't recommend.

Good location for my needs. Pleasant personel. Clean room. Good value

Out on the street that is. There are about 7 parking spaces in the back of the hotel so if you dont get one, you'll have to park on the street. No microwave in room but one in dining area besides parking no complaints

If you dont mind a lobby filled with crack heads, prostitutes and thieves and the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke in the hallways and rooms, and walls with fist marks in the plaster, then this place is for you.

Was great experience , just it hard ti find the location with some gps' . The service was really great.

Great Hotel for the value. Plus it has a shuttle bus to JFK!

I believe every room should come with a microwave & frige, or atleast one or the other.

Late arrival. needed room for early flight. Not enough parking , very tight spot in back of hotel for about 10 cars! Old Hotel, needs updates, hallways smell. Not Happy.

The hotel was almost impossible to find (directions were "behind Sleepys and then cut through the deli parking lot") and then enter the exit driveway. You then had to park single lane and walk around the hotel in 20 degree weather to the front entrance. The Front Desk was down a flight of stairs. No help with luggage.The bedroom was not clean and had […] several cigarette burns on it. I had to call 3 times in order to get directions. Would never go there again and would tell all otherss not to. I can't imagine why the 5 star ratings. Mehr

The hotel was okay and a good deal for the price I paid for it. The hall ways were extremely narrow, when the cleaners were in the hall it was difficult to pass their carts. The parking garage was very narrow and could fit maybe 5 cars. It has to be the most narrow one in NYC I've experienced. I ended up parking on the street.

The room had a cozy feel and decor minus the cold temperatue.The room was very cold, the heater was broken, it took the staff an hour to change my room. There wasn't much compensation for the discomfort of the earlier part of my stay. I requested a late check out , when i checked in. I think they could've given me an extra hour on top of that for my […] time spent waiting for the change of rooms. This was my second time staying there, this experience wont deter me from staying there again. They should make sure that there rooms are fully functional from the a/c to the showers to remote. Mehr

I was looking among the most affordable hotels without going to the very bottom part of the list... I was just looking to overnight from my flight from Asia… and I was extremely surprised by the cleanness of the room, specially the bathroom and shower. Neighborhood is not nice, and building exterior is ok at best, but as it portraits to the room itself […] you will get a lot more value for your money… because of its location I would not recommend this hotel for a Manhattan Vacation (commute time is just too long, and parking at hotel is extremely limited), but its perfect to overnight in JFK with family prior or after a trip… there is even a self service breakfast included… nothing fancy but extremely convenient. Hotel is very clean, room furniture and bathroom seem to be recently renovated. You will find the same or better quality of room as other hotels near JFK that cost over 2 or 3 times more than this. This hotel is what it should be a very nice convenient and extremely affordable place to overnight at JFK. The front desk attendant was very helpful and courteous. The room was nice and clean. I had to park on the street but was able to find a parking in fort of the Hotel, which was nice. We walked around the block and there were plenty of places to eat and a few delis in case you needed to buy something. I enjoyed my one night stay before flying to Bra […] zil. Mehr

Hotel is clean and the staff was very friendly. It has a nice small gym you cab get a good workout. Small supermarket and a several restaurants are very nearby and also 24 hrs open. A launder-mart is at a 100 m distance

Everything was just delightful-shuttle service, hotel room, friendly, knowledgable staff, very good continental breakfast (although could use more tables), just a little to far from the subway

We stayed at this hotel with a 1.5 year old. Our experience is that it is a clean and adequate hotel and the bed was comfortable and the microwave, fridge and everything else clean and in working order. Parking was a bit difficult but that may be because the hotel was doing some repairs to the parking area, and at check-in there was some confusion about […] where we would be able to get our luggage wheeled in (there was nobody to help with luggage but there are carts available). Our King room/suite had a living room but it was not seperated from the bedroom so you really only had one big room. At night, there was a bit of noise from people next door and somebody playing a radio all night but on the positive side, children were not frowned upon. Breakfast was very basic but one nice feature was that it was easy to pick up coffee and yougurt/toast and just take it to your room rather than eat in the small dining room. As far as I could see, there was only one infant high chair in the dining room. We may stay there again, but only if we got a better rate than what we paid which seemed a bit much for the value of the room/services but as we booked last minute we did not have much choice. There is a nice pizza place and a small supermarket within easy walking distance, and the area is very "true" New York - not touristy at all. Overall, an okay hotel when you are traveling with a child and/or wants to be able to "self cater" a bit in your room. Mehr

The neighborhood is a little shady, but I was pleasantly suprised by this fairly new looking, clean hotel.

Took two hrs for shuttle to pick us up. Exercise room dirty and broken down equipment

WE STAYED HERE FOR 4 NIGHTS. THE HOTEL WAS CONVENIENT FOR US SINCE WE WERE ATTENDING A FAMILY WEDDING. THE NIGHT OF THE WEDDING WE WERE TRYING TO TAKE SHOWERS AND NOTICED THERE WAS NO HOT WATER. CALLED THE FRONT DESK AND WAS TOLD THEY WOULD TAKE CARE OF IT IN 10 MINUTES. WAITED A HALF HOUR CALLED AGAIN THEY SAID THEY WERE WORKING ON IT. THIS ALL STARTED […] AT 3:30. AT 5 PM WE COULD NOT WAIT ANY LONGER AND TOOK COLD, COLD SHOWERS. WE LEFT AT 6:30 THERE WAS STILL NO HOT WATER. ON THE NEXT DAY IT WAS HOT. THE 4TH DAY AS WE WERE PREPARING THE LEAVE, NO HOT WATER AGAIN. Mehr

This was a very basic but clean and handy hotel. I was doing work at the new Resorts World Casino and it was very conveniently located close to that. The hotel is new and appears to be well maintained. The staff was helpful. The hotel is on an odd location away from the major streets, but this is actually a benefit as the rooms were pretty quite. They were very pleasant and helpful. The location is great if you are staying over to continue on a trip which is what we were doing. You could stay here and visit Manhattan by transit. Good breakfast.

I spent a lot of time in my hotel room and found it comfortable. The room was small and it was a little hard to get the room warm enough/cool enough. But it had nice furniture and everything necessary. It did say when I signed up for the stay my room would have a microwave and frig, but did not have either one. However, this could be because I switched […] to a smoking room and was necessary to not have these items because of that. The location is a little tricky as it's on a one way street that you have to circle around and get to. But overall it was fine. I plan on staying there again in a week. Mehr

I had to call repeatedly for 15 minutes from JFK airport before someone answered the phone! And I had been given an incorrect number to call from Federal Circle. This is totally unacceptable.

The shuttle service to and from JFK was prompt, the room was clean, and the internet connection was good. Getting almost anywhere else from there would be a problem because of limited public transportation. One of the three machines in the fitness room was broken (the elliptical trainer); however, the treadmill and basic weight machine were OK.

I thought the service was exceptional. I liked the free shuttle service to and from the airport and the close proximity to the JFK airport.

We arrived at 10 p.m. at the hotel - and had a wonderful last night in New York City: the subway is only 10 minutes walk distance away and leads you right to 42. st / time square. We had no problems at all - even at that time of the night - going out and caming back at 4 a.m.. The late check out helped the next day, before we had to fly home again that […] day. Nice and helpful people at the hotel. Rooms and bathromm are nicely clean and comfortable. Hotel was really quiet, so we slept quite through without any noises disturbing our sleep. We can highly reccomend this hotel in service, price, location and a visit from here to the city by subway. Mehr

This is a two star hotel, don't expect more than that. The room was Ok but not the food.

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was clean, quiet and provided us all the amenities we needed. This is my third stay and I would go back. It's really a good place if you just need to stay the night before heading out of New York. Very nice breakfast with pancakes, waffles, sausage, yogurt, fresh fruits and pastries. My only problem was the […] shuttle drivers. I have traveled around the world and experienced many a taxi driver, but I've never had rides like these! I felt they had a total disregard for the passengers....speeding, jerking around corners, slamming on the brakes. It was like 'Funway Freeway" without the fun. The hotel was close to JFK and the staff was nice and ready to help you with a smile ;@). What was missing from the rooms were microwave and refrigerator, which were advertised as being in every room. (false advertisement). I would not recommend this hotel if you have kids.

For the price that they charge, My husband and I got really good service. I read all the reviews on this site before I booked my room, because of the reviews I almost didn't book the room. But I give it a try on my own and I felt like the price we paid the room was well worth it. I think when people go to a cheap hotel they asks for 5 star service know […] that they pay 2 star money for the hotel. I would recommend that people give the hotel a try first before the past judgement. The hotel was clean and comfortable for the 3 days we were there. we were very happy with the service, we got exactly what we paid for. so If you are looking for a 5 star hotel, book a 5 star hotel, if not comfort inn and suite is the way to go... This was a decent hotel.. The breakfast was pretty good. Overall decent.. No pool though.
