"einfacheres B&B in Bahnhofsnähe"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 21. Jul. 2012Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, obwohl ich recht früh am Morgen ankam. Mein Zimmer lag direkt unter dem Dach, mit Blick in den Park hinter dem Haus. Die Einrichtung war etwas abgewohnt, und das Schloss der Tür zu Etagendusche/WC etwas eigenwillig (wie häufiger in GB). Eine Etage drunter sah das Bad wesentlich neuer aus, es ist also möglich, dass die Eigentümer das Haus grad nach und nach renovieren. Mein englisches Frühstück dafür lies nichts zu wünschen übrig. Gelegen ist das Haus an einer Durchgangsstraße, war aber für mich ok, ca. 5 min. zu Fuß vom Bahnhof und ca. 15 Gehminuten vom Stadtzentrum (ab Bahnhof ausgeschildert).

Great stay, Very clean, friendly service. Breakfast was top notch, I would recommend this hotel to anybody staying in Clacton. This is such a welcoming place to stay, a real home-from-home feeling. We felt like nothing was too much trouble. Our room was beautifully decorated with everything you could need. "Great Hotel to say with 'waggy tail' + lone female"
Warm welcome - I arrived early and they allowed me to park the car outside the Hotel. whilst I went for a walk with the dog + to meet a friend. I got back just after mid day and they allowed me to book in early as my room was ready. Owners and staff very pleasant and helpful. Food i.e. breakfast was excellent. Well all the reviews are right on the money. This place is the jewel in Clacton's crown. I stay in a lot of hotels and these tend to be Hiltons, Holiday Inn etc. When it came to booking in this area I was presented with a choice of mainly small guest houses. I am so pleased that I booked this place. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome, the owners are a credit to the hospitality industry. Everything was very clean and tidy […] but not clinically clean. Like a very nice tidy house. And that is what it felt like - very homely. Rooms was fantastic. No2. Just been refurbished and it was clean and very very comfortable. Everything I needed was there. Including free wi-fi. I was so sad I was not there longer than just one night.
