This is just south of OU and has everything you could want! The athletic facilities beat the dickens out of any luxury hotel I've stayed at (except for golf.) The only drawback is the room is small, but comfortable. This will be the only place we stay in Norman from now on.

Great place. Very friendly staff. I'd highly recommend.

This hotel was very comfortable, quiet, clean and the food was great. Good selection of food and the service was good. Loved all the extras. Would definitely stay there again.

Very pleasant stay. Nice to stay where our 2 conference was being held.

Upon entering, I was impressed with the hotel lobby. It was bright, clean and looked modern. THEN we went upstairs to our room. The colors were mauve and emerald green. The hallway had an awful smell and when we turned down our bed, the sheets were dirty and full of body hair. They quickly changed the sheets, but that was just so nasty. I won't stay […] there again. This hotel is very much a postal training facility. While our stay was during a non-training time there is no way I can see stayng there during a training session. This is treated like a federal facility with a guard at the entrance requiring you to show ID prior to entering the property.

As others have noted, it's an odd place, being a operated in conjunction with a USPS training facility, but it's clean, well-run, inexpensive, and a great value. We are regulars as we visit Norman 3 or 4 times a year and like the place.

During the week a postal service training center. Weekends turns into a place for OU fans on football weekends. Run by Marriott. Clean and efficient. Far from restaurants and other fun. Very tiny rooms.

The only complaint I have about this hotel was that there was no refrigerator or microwave; I need medication daily and assumed there would be a refrigerator as they are usually standard in most hotel rooms. I should have double-checked ahead of time. Great service, good breakfast - it's a little far from the OU campus but it's a good, clean place to […] stay. I will say also that it's one of the quietest hotels I've been in and it was quite booked. I never heard anyone in the rooms next to us or up and down the halls - must be a very well built property. Stayed overnight for an OU football game. I was very impressed with this facility. Rooms are small, like a dorm room, but they were more than adequate and such a great facility. The rate also included breakfast buffet which was perfect the following morning. They have a full service gym (not a hotel gym) so bring your full workout wear, pool was nice […] and the locker rooms were very nice. Overall I would definitely stay here while in Norman. Mehr

From the second we arrived we were greeted with smiles and thorough explanations. The next morning we had an amazing breakfast! At most hotels the tupperware of Bagels and Bananas is locked down by 10am but at NCED the hot meals were available until 12pm. I will definitely stay there again.

we were in Norman for the football game and the place served the purpose. the rooms are small and the bathroom is tiny!no wifi the staff is very friendly.

We had a room for a one night stay so we could attend an OU game. The rooms are rather small but they are clean and the hotel is very convenient. This was my second stay and both times were good experiences.

We made a last minute reservation here, as there were no other hotels available in Norman. It was ok. Rooms small, but clean. Bed comfortable, pillows not. We found this hotel while looking for a spot in Norman that was east of the OU stadium so that we didn't have to fight all the traffic after the game! Well, this spot is perfect! On the outside of town in a beautiful wooded area right off Highway 9. The hotel is huge with loads of amenities. Beautiful pool, huge workout area, spa, gift shop and a fabulous […] cafeteria area. Breakfast was included in our room rate and they served an excellent fresh breakfast with all sorts of choices. The rooms were small as noted on other reviews, but, they were extremely clean and well kept. The security in the area was also excellent, we felt very safe. Excellent stay and a pleasant surprise! Great facilities. Our daughter was auditioning for OU's dance dept. they had a great room with ballet barre for her to warm up in. The rest of us played ping pong, shuffleboard and had a great time. Indoor jogging track, billard with 4-5 tables, sauna, hot tub, fabulous work out facitlity. Huge basketball and […] volleyball court. Pub featured darts. Great breakfast with all the hot food and cold food you desired. Cafeteria like setting with lcd tv's everywhere and quite large. Firepit outside was also quite nice. The management couldn't have been more accomodating! I rate them an A+. We had to be at OU early and didn't get back until around noon. We had an audition at 5 and had to be back at the University by 2. They allowed to check out late since they were not to busy at the time. We were all so appreciative of that. It so alllowed us to enjoy our stay more. I would highly recommend this place and when we are back in the area this will definitely be where we stay. Did I mention they had down comforters and wonderful pillows. We had the two room suite. There were 4 of us. They had the sofa bed made up so nice for our two teenage daughters and it was really really comfortable. Which is extremely nice knowing sofa beds are usually the worst.. I highly recommend the two room suite as the rooms itself are small but very accomodating and comfortable. Great chair with ottoman by the bed and internet connections along with lcd tv's. Our daughters loved this place and we did to. Perfect place for a family to have some fun quality family time together. Security too! Two big thumbs up!!! Mehr

The name does not speak for itself but you will be surprise. This is a class A hotel for anybody who is objective. The rooms are not super big but enough for one or two people but they are always clean. The AC is not the conventional one but keep it @65F and a note to the room service NOT to change it to 72F and the room ambience is set. The pillows […] are not the common by Marriott, who administers this monster hotel with 925 rooms but if you request better pillows they will open their stach. Internet is very fastbut could not get wireless in the room only with ethernet. Your rooms will have the modem on the desk. Food is very good, I stayed for 13 nights and basically all my meals while in Norman I consumed from the hotel, which help me save some good bucks. The attention is good, unbelievable facilities, game room, tennis court, swimming pool (olympic size!) , table tennis, inside basketball court, bicycles, etc. Shuttle bus..huge parking..When going to Norman, Ok. I have stayed in several around Norman, for the price this place it top notch. Clean, friendly, great breakfast, and a good watering hole. Can't wait for my next stay.

My husband and I wanted to find a hotel that was close to the OU Football stadium. It was only about 8 minutes away. The hotel is owned by USPS and has aroun the clock security including a security guard at the front gate. The building is very large but yhr hotel rooms were smaller than my bedroom. Rooms are quite small, but they're clean and adequate. Buffet breakfast is huge and good.

The NCED is not a regular hotel. It's a place for postal employees to stay while undergoing training, and still functions that way. As such, it's like it's own little village with a barber shop, nail salon, game rooms, karaoke, and other services.PROS: It's very clean, organized, and the employees were very helpful. The room was clean. Hotel was quiet […] (mostly). Bedding comfortable. CONS: The room was very small, but then the hotel was so large I had to ask for help finding my room. This is a fabulous place to stay in Norman! No one mentioned it had a security gate and you needed ID to get in! Great comfortable room, not very big but perfect for my son and I! We will stay here everytime we come to town!!!!

This is a great place to stay on game days in Norman. Close to the stadium and includes a great free breakfast. Rooms are a little on the small side, but comfortable and clean.

Very nice hotel, out on the edge of town. Quiet location. Great breakfast buffet. Lots of fitness options. Will visit again if in the area.

When I made the reservations, you were the top of the list and I just went with your hotel. My friend Sandy is in a wheelchair and her mother was with me. We had the best time. We all can not say enough good things about your service, rooms and cafeteria. The food was delicious and every time Sandy was helped with her tray. She was amazed by the courteous […] service that was offered to her. We all were all very satisfied with everything you had to offer. When we come back we will definitely stay at the NCED Conference Center and we will tell everyone about how wonderful our stay was. We arrived late to an extremely hot room. We tried to adjust the thermostat but it never cooled down. At 2am we were awakened by screaming and singing from people in the courtyard. We were on the 6th floor and still could hear all of the partying. When I called the front desk they just laughed and said "We probably know who it is and will try to get […] them to quiet down". Our niece was getting married at this Hotel and we're glad we made reservation here. It was awsome. The staff was great, the room was alittle small but the comfort was great. We eat at the hotel and the food was quite good and you couldn't beat the price. This place has everything.

We stayed at this hotel last weekend and we were pleasantly surprised. I noticed some of the other reviews stated that the staff were not friendly but I found that was not true. I am not sure why anyone would believe they were not friendly and helpful because they were both during my stay. The room was wonderfully clean and the price could not be beat […] considering a free full breakfast bar that outshines the rest and a wonderfully clean hotel. The A/C was cold which was a blessing since it was over 100 degrees during our stay. The hotel was refreshingly clean and new. Amazing how this hotel was cheaper than any other around in the Norman area. I felt confortable and safe in the hotel. The only issue was that the bed was a little more firm than I am used to but other than that it was a great stay. Highly Recommend!!! Mehr
