Hotel Rosso 23 - Florenz

Ich bin sehr sehr zufrieden in unsere Aufenthalt in Hotel Rosso. Es ist 5min. zu Fuss nach Hauptbahnhof, sehr nah an die sehenswürdigkeiten. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber, Staffs sind sehr freundlich, Frühstückraum ist sehr hübsch engerichtet, das Frühstück Buffet is reichhaltig. Ich kann sie weiter empfehlen

Nice boutique hotel with good location but quiet environment! Just 5-10mins walk to the Duomo and the shopping area! Room is spacious but the toilet is small and a bit dark even after all the lights on. Nice breakfast and they serve espresso and cappuccino as well.

Hotel rosso is pretty and modern. Our room was pretty small but it was fine. It was cleaned really well. Close to the train station. Staff recommend a nice restarurant for dinner. Great location in Santa Maria piazza. Very pretty and much nicer than the 3 star hotel my son lives in. The room was on the smaller side. The bathroom is very nice with real soap and shampoo even if the shower is a little tiny. The breakfast is pretty good. This was the only hotel that charged us for wifi in our entire 3 weeks. The location is closed to Termini and attractions such as Duomo. The room is very spacious. The only negative thing is that the receptionist is not very friendly.

Positives - Good Loacation, close to all major sites. - Nice 'boutique' hotel appearance. Negatives - Rooms are tiny - Shower door did not work and even though we brought this to the attention of the front desk nothing was done about this during our stay. - Shower is ridiculously small - American tourists wil definitely experience problems.

As well as being located in a cool, quiet-ish neighbourhood. hotel Rosso 23 served a fantastic breakfast for travellers travelling on a food budget. A wonderful hotel only a couple of minutes walk from the station, and the Duomo, set in a brilliant location on the Santa Maria Novella piazza. Very nice good and clean hotel. The only experience that turned negative for me was that I left my jacket in the room just before check-out and despite returning back to the hotel subsequently a couple of times for some or the other reason, the hotel staff did not point me back to it. I was a little bit farther away from things than I would have liked to have been. We still were able to walk everywhere, but it just took about 20 minutes to really get anywhere (spanish steps, trevi fountain) and walking back late at night after dinner, was a little annoying. Fantastic location. Beautiful and comfortable hotel. Only disappointment was that the staff did not speak English that well.

We stayed at the Hotel for three nights. Everything was great. The room was large for Italy and the front desk staff was amazing. Only complaint was mosquitos in the room and a small shower but on the whole an amazing place in a very convenient location.

I chose Hotel Rosso after reading the reviews here and was not disappointed. The hotel looks exactly like the pictures! It is a two-minute walk from the train station and five-minute walk from the Duomo. The hotel staff were very friendly, spoke excellent English, and helped us make all of our dinner reservations. The room was small but clean and well-appointed. […] My only complaints were that the bed was a bit hard for my taste and the internal walls of the hotel were very thin! We heard everything going on in the adjoining room, even the soft cuckoo of the clock! That said, the hotel is otherwise in a very quiet part of the city so you get a rest from all the vespas! When we visited (October 2010) the plaza in front was under construction so it wasn't a pleasant place to hang out but that didn't matter much. There was a charge to use the internet but for us it was only five euros for the entire stay. The breakfast was the best part! We had our choice of cereals, yogurt, muesli, fruit, bread, cheese, meats, sweets...anything you could want from a cold breakfast. The pleasant staff brought whatever we wanted to drink (cappucinos, tea etc.) and we loved relaxing in the dining room while preparing for a day of sightseeing. Stayed 2 nights in Florence. Good location, very near to train station. The room is clean and with high ceiling. Nevertheless, breakfast is average only. the only drawback is no hot water in the room as no electric kettle provided.

I chose this hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor. the initial room I was allocated was miniscule and did not have an in room safe (which was important to me) so I asked for another room with a safe. The receptionist was polite but initially did not wish to change the room for me, after my insistance she changed my room to once that included […] an in-room safe and I was happy to discover although the same room type it was also much larger. I had booked the room as double occupancy as I always do because from experience 'single' rooms in Italy especially are always very small. The location is unbeatable. On previous visits to Florence I have stayed at small boutique hotels near Ponte Vecchio. Piazza Santa Maria Novella is a fab location which the central rail station just a short walk away, and considering the square is a major tourist attraction lined with restaurants the rooms were quiet - very important in major cities! Breakfast was a very generous display of cereals, hams, cheeses, fruit, pastries etc and all included in the room rate. The building is really unique and I found the simplistic decor appealling. I only used the lift twice on check in and check out, (even though I was 5 flights of stairs up)) as probably did all the other guests as it was so slow you could walk 10 flights and back before it arrived! My only critisism would be the paintwork in the rooms, to maintain the upkeep of the rooms so all guests have the pleasure of staying in a room without black scratch marks on the walls etc.... I feel sure housekeeping could simply remove these unsightly marks with a little cleanser and some effort! it would change certainly be worth the effort. This hotel was excellently placed and was very nice, however, the rooms were tiny. So small infact it was almost undearable to be in them. Aside from that they were clean and modern.

The location of the hotel is excellent. It is five minutes walk from the bus/train station. Most of the major sights are within ten minutes walk of the hotel. It is very handy if you wish to take a short break from walking and sightseeing. The breakfast is very good but could do with the choice of a cereal. The room itself and the hotel in general was spotlessly clean. I visited during some hot summer weather and the air conditioning was brilliant. We stayed here for just 1 night as our flight arrived very late at night and we were due to catch a bus in the morning. Shame as the hotel was lovely! The breakfast in the skylight lit courtyard was the best hotel breakfast we had in all our Italian travels. The room was comfortable, apart from the 3rd bed being a fold out bed (however I was so tired […] I didn't notice too much). Location was great for us but to explore the city it might be a little out of the way, although it is literally next to the bus/train station so easy to get in/out of town. VERY NICE HOTEL. CONVENIENTLY LOCATED CLOSE TO TRAIN STATION (ONE OF THEM... BE CAREFUL THERE ARE TWO!) BREAKFAST WAS GREAT AND ROOM VERY NICE AND COMFORTABLE. I WOULD DEFINITELY GO BACK!

Great bargain find! Our favorite hotel during our last trip to Europe. Clean, modern, excellent location, walking distance to all important sites, two blocks from the train station, walking distance to numerous restaurants and shops. Would definately return.

12月30日から1月4日まで5泊しました。 とにかく室内が暗い！本を読むのは無理。荷物整理も手探り状態でした。一番明るいのはバスルーム。仕方がないので，トイレに座って日記をつけたりガイドブックを読んだりしました。 また，スーペリアダブルで予約したのですが，案内された211号室は狭くてスーツケースを広げられませんでした。 立地は申し分ないです。鉄道利用者や，部屋には帰って寝るだけという向きには良いホテルだと思います。

とにかく立地が素晴らしい！！ フィレンツェ中央駅から大荷物持っても徒歩で行かれる距離なのとホテル前のサンタマリアノベッラ広場が素晴らしい！！ サンタマリアノベッラ教会の美しいこと！！ あのレオナルドダビンチがモナリザを書いた教会というではありませんか。 中世さながらのその広場は大変素晴らしく、またホテルロッソの赤とグレーで統一された家具は本当にセンス良く感激します。 このホテルを拠点にいろいろ回るには最高です。 朝食も赤とグレーのセッティングで素敵です！！ こじんまりとしてしてますがセンスがいい！！ シャワーしかありません。 これだけが我が家は不満でした。 それ以外完ぺきでした！

Adoramos o hotel, quarto espaçoso, limpo, bem decorado, atendimento muito bom, cafe da manha bom, banheiro bom, apesar do box pequeno. E localização otima, perto da estação e proximo de todos as principais atrações, fizemos todos os passeios a pe.

駅から、スーツケースを転がしても、10分程度の、問題ない立地です。ホテルの看板が小さく、通り過ぎてしましましたが、カフェとカフェの間にあります。朝食も、食べ過ぎてしまうほど、美味しかったです。部屋もレセプションも、赤を基調に整えられ、オシャレです。 大きくはないですが、いい心地の良い、お宿です。

Though the rooms are not that big, everything is very convenient, bathroom is spacious, staff is friendly and the breakfast is just awesome! I would for sure stay there again when I'm back to Firenze. The location is perfect, hotel is overlooking the square and it's very quiet.

imposible llegar al hotel en auto, no es facil encontrarlo. La habitacion EXTREMADAMENTE CHICA; SUPER SMALL. No puedo creer como ofrezcan una habitacion de esas caracteristicas, en el baño no te podias ni mover de lo chico que era. Si quieren un consejo: Vayan a otro hotel!!!!

Good points : you can turn off the air conditionning in the room. Close to the center. Breakfast is good (no fresh bread but bread from the previous day). Renovated lately.
