Das Hotel ist im sehr guten Zustand und macht deutlich mehr her, als man bei 2 Sternen erwarten würde. Das Frühstück ist ausgezeichnet. Der Außenpool ist sehr gut und auch die Zimmer sind prima. Nur ein Safe wäre noch toll. Zum Besuch des Arcadia Nationalparks ist etwas abgelegen - aber sonst ein richtig guter Tipp.

If you're travelling between maritime Canada and Boston or New York, Bangor/Brewer is an ideal stopover, Vacationland Inn is spot on for this, Comfy quiet room, very clean. It's in process of a makeover but this doesn't detract from its existing style which is perfectly adequate and a great price that inckudes a sustaining breakfast. w got a poor room cause we had an 8 week puppy with us,,the have much nicer rooms,i quess thats their policy..I dont feel that the treatment that we recieved from the housekeepers was dererving,they kept banging on our door,im quess they wanted to clean the room it was fustrating,I have never experience this before,finally at exactly at 11:00 am they […] were really banging at our door and I finally said give my 5 mins to get my things together,the bathroom towels were extremely rough ,I mean really rough,comfortabl rough. not good. Decent hotel, a little old but good price and really close to downtown. The waffle breakfast is worth 20$ alone and it's included!

The continental breakfast included waffles the attendant lady helped me cook. There is a pleasant and inexpensive family-type restaurant next door. I had only one slight problem with the room: I would have preferred a desk or table to the two large airchairs.
