Homewood Suites Ft Lauderdale - Fort Lauderdale

Liegt in der Nähe vom Flughafen und Port Everglades. Man müsste für den kostenlosen Shuttle vom Flughafen zum Hotel, das Hotel am Flughafen anrufen, was nicht jeder weiss und sich blöd sucht nach dem Hotel Shuttlebus. Shuttle vom Hotel zum Port Everglades muss bezahlt werden!

Für den Preis eine sehr gute Unterkunft, sehr hilfsbereites Personal, gutes Frühstück und überraschenderweise von Mo - Do ein Abendessen mit Getränken inclusive, daher sehr zufrieden!

Checked in at 10:00 am and was pleased that they could take care of us. Room and hotel amentities provided a pleasant stay.

We had a wonderful overnight stay at this hotel. Everything was great especially the service staff. They provided us with extra towels promptly and gave us plates and flatware in the dining area so we could heat and eat our leftovers from the night before at Antonio's Italian restaurant; they recommended Antonio's to us. Overall everything was terrific. […] The only negative was that the entry/check-in area smelled like someone had broken a gallon bottle of Aqua Velva in it: not unpleasant but overwhelming. Mehr

A fine place to stay. Nice rooms. Would stay again.

Very lovely suite with very nice amenities. Not much around to walk to but hotel had shuttle to a nice shopping plaza with many restaurants to chose from. Would go there again for sure.

The employees of the hotel were extremely friendly and accomodating. We stayed at the hotel for two nights and then took a shuttle to the port of Miami for our cruise. I would recommend this hotel and the pool was nice too.

This hotel is nice for a little romantic getaway. It offered complimentary breakfast which was nice. Could have added bacon or ham one day. The biggest drawback is no restaurant on sit. However, they do offer shuttle service which is very reliable. A trip to the "Rustic Inn" is a must.

All of the staff really goes out of their way to help out in any way. They helped us find a good restaurant nearby and even took us by free shuttle. There is a free shuttle to the airport too. The breakfast was great. The Managers reception every night was a real treat. We will stay there again. We totally reccommend this hotel.

We were very pleased with this hotel. We purchased the Miami cruise pkg and it was so worth it! First of all, they offer a shuttle to pick you up at the Ft Lauderdale airport. There is also a shuttle that will take you to and from a restuarant. (choice of like 5 places within a mile or so) The rooms are very clean and large. The beds are comfortable […] w/lots of pillows. The hotel is not really near any restaurants so make sure you plan your stay accordingly. We had to get gas at a rather shady gas station across the street but the hotel itself was very nice. The hotel room is very large and my family of 4 slept very well!

We stayed overnight before a cruise, close to the port, only $8. to get there and parked my car for at the hotel. During the week they have free drinks and snacks for two hours,and a free breakfast. Very friendly staff, and very clean.

The hotel was very nice and it was especially nice of them to allow us to keep our car and camper in their parking lot while we were on a cruise. The only downside for others (and this I overlook given the parking situation) is that although they are very close to the Ft. Lauderdale airport and cruise ship port, that they don't offer a free shuttle. […] Staff was very friendly, too. Mehr

Service is good too

We stayed at this hotel before and after a cruise. The shuttle picked us up from the Air port immediately upon landing. The hotel also provides transportation to the cruise port, but it was a bit expensive. All-n-all it was a good stay.

This was a wonderful hotel and I am very picky. The room was fantastic and the staff treated everyone well. Their Welcome Reception in the evening was more than just pretzels and chips. Lauderdale for a small fee .However, they do shuttle you back and forth from the airport. for free. All in all, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the Ft. Lauderdale area. Our family arrived at hotel at 10:30 am after a cruise and were pleasantly surprised not to have to wait long for a room. Staff were very courteous and helpful. Crib was delivered quickly to room. Room and lobby area were spacious, clean and comfortable. Bus and train were easily accessible. It took 25 mins by bus to get downtown. Complimentary shuttle […] to/ from airport and to/from select restaurants after 4pm was very handy. (The shuttle from the cruiseport was going to be expensive. Instead, we caught a taxi for much cheaper.) If you like seafood, eat at Rustic Inn nearby - it's amazing! The small selection of groceries offered at the hotel "store" were priced very high - buy somewhere else if you can. We would definitely stay here again and, hopefully, for a longer period of time. Excellent room, comfortable and nicely furnished with full kitchen and dining area. Food for breakfast NOT up to par of other motel chains. Compimentary dinners should be discontinued because the food is practically inedible and the serving area is too small to handle more than a few guests at a time. pluses:close to airport and cruise port,good porridge.Minuses:carpets needed shampoo,coffee in lobby atrocious,insufficient cutlery,incompetent and confrontational manager,insufficient staff, airport noise as flights can take off over hotel and no sound insulation,no hot tub,insufficient towels available,we ended up using pool towels.A very poor example […] of the Homewood brand,in which we have stayed many times before and received exemplary service.This hotel is owned and operated by Economos Properties,the name says it all.I would never stay here again,look elsewhere but beware Fairfield Hotel next door appears to be owned by same company.I felt sorry for staff who do a good job with limited resources but have to answer to a manager who appears convinced that everything is someone elses fault. I chose this Hotel because we were going on a cruise. We stayed one day before and two days after the cruise. The hotel is clean and the service was good. My only complaint was that we had to use the business center to print off our airline tickets and was charged $40.00 by the hotel. I thought that was a bit much.

Convenient for Airport and port. Easy transport (Free shuttle from airport, low cost to cruise port). Clean and efficient. the hotel assigned a handicapped room as far away from the entrance as possible, which would not be too bad but it made the TV irrelevant for use from anywhere but the bed. this seems to be an all too common event when booking with hotels.com as the property seems to not care where they put you. too bad that they are so short-sighted about where they […] get their business. This was just an overnight trip, but the room was so nice - and so were the staff - that I wished I could take a couple more days. Very clean, smelled great walking in, included dinner and breakfast, as well as a full kitchen in my room. Quick to get on I-95 and quiet for sleep. Could not have been happier with this hotel.

Returning from my cruise awaiting flight out next day. The room was very large, comfortable, clean and relaxing. I would recommend this hotel.

we stayed in this hotel for 5 nights while visiting family. we loved it! it was great having breakfast each morning. I am very picky when it comes to clean bathrooms and bedrooms and I was very pleased. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only thing I was disappointed in was the gym. I run every morning and the treadmills didn't work one morning […] and the one that did was in poor shape. There was also no AC in the gym. It was very hot to work out each morning. Also we had to use the pull out couch for our 2 sons and the mattress on it was horrible. You could feel the springs. We just used the large blanket on the king bed and folded it twice to cover the mattress and make it softer. Neither of those issues would keep us from staying there again! Mehr

Very good Hotel for a VERY low Price!! It was better than a hotel that was twice the price in Key West and we had twice the room space, and a full kitchen at the Homewood. The bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean. Nothing bad to say about this hotel.

Very nice hotel, conveniently located near Ft. Lauderdale airport. The front desk clerks were wonderful. They were out of laundry soap in the hotel's gift shop, so one of the clerks had someone go out and purchase detergent for me (it was pouring rain and I did not have a car). The kitchen in the room was well-equipped. The bed was very comfortable. […] The only thing that was a bit strange was that one had to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom, which if someone is using the sofa bed in the living area, it would require them to go through the other person's bedroom to get to the bathroom. We booked a no-smoking room for 6 adults, 2 room suite with 2 queen beds and a double pullout. They gave us a one room smoking with one bed and a pullout. The had no other rooms they could give us so we were stuck but they still charged us the same price.

we have always enjoyed our stays at Homewood Suites hotels and this one surely did deliver the hospitality and the ambience that they are noted for. Spent three days here and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. cleanliness of the rooms and friendliness of staff was a plus. Need a car to get around but really a nice hotel overall.
