Stayed at the Hyatt Regency Clearwater for a December weekend. At booking they were offering a "free" upgrade to a suite with a balcony. The suite turned out to be very large with 2 rooms, a kitchenette and a balcony overlooking the pool. Very spacious and pleasant. The hotel was just over the street from the Gulf beach with beautiful sand. Chairs were […] available to rent. Bicyles were also available to rent (at the hotel) and provided a pleasant mornings fun. The hotel was absolutely wonderful. Our one bedroom suite was incredible. Pool area was quite nice - terrific entertainment at the pool. Room service was excellent. The only small complaint I have is the $16.00 daily parking fee. Oh well!!

The hotel is great. The location is perfect, and the two bedroom suite was wonderful. However, the check-in service was horrible. I traveled with my family and arrived at about 2:30 pm. The check-in people were rude and coldly said that they cannot guarantee my room until 4:00 pm. My two little daughters were cranky and tired, and the hotel staff was […] not polite and did not offer to put us in a smaller room while we wait. Also, they did not explain to me that some of the key cards work with the parking garage and some do not (which caused me problems later). Yet, the room service was very nice. Because my check-in ordeal was such a bad experience, I am debating on whether using Hyatt again. Mehr

This hotel boasts that it is a resort, yet it does not display or manage many of the services a resort has to offer. They state they are on the beach, this is not true, you must cross a highway. They in fact do not even have their own beach- it is all public whereas you must pay for chairs and umbrella, not even lounges like every resort I ever stayed […] at. Finally a twenty dollar surcharge each day is assessed for unknown reasons. I will never go back and do not reccommend couples going ever- fthe beach is full of kids. Not unless you are facing the ocean your balcony does not get sun. Really dissappointed in this resort, waita minute I meant hotel Mehr

The hotel is beautiful and the 1 bedroom suite is very spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The location is hard to beat to the beach, the pier, resturaunts, the shop next door and the trolley. The only thing I would like to have seen is more consistency in coming to clean our room. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel was very convenient. I am a firm believer in you get what you pay for. So, I was pleased that the quality and value was worth the price paid. Parking could be cheaper, especially if you self park, but overall. I was pleased.

We had a great stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly. The rooms, with full kitchens, were great. And the views and location were wonderful. The unexpected surprise was what a family-oriented hotel it was. There was a separate, fenced-in kiddie pool with water tables, kid-size picnic tables and a play house. We stayed at Hyatt Regency Clearwater beach for five nights. It is a new hotel in the area. We had a very good time. It is right on the beach, rooms are very nice, full kitchen is very convenient. Superb location. Loved every minute. A premium 1 bedroom 2 Queen suite with balcony suited us perfectly - family with 3 children ages 13, 11 and 6. Highly recommended for a short break. Breakfast buffet on Saturday was very reasonably priced (next to nothing for the kids) and excellent quality. Room had 2 large balconies with beautiful views. Construction […] work in adjacent building did not interfere at all with our stay. Staff very friendly and helpful. Resort fee worked ok for us as free wireless internet service is included (more than one device). Daily parking fee a bit steep - prob should incorporate into Resort fee. Otherwise faultless. There were 5 women in our party and upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite. It was clean, well appointed and had a gorgeous view of the gulf, we could not have been happier. The staff, even though young, was extremely gracious and accommodating. They could not do enough for you. The property itself was beautiful […] and in a great location. Very close to shopping, entertainment and restaurants. And, even though the beach was not private to the hotel (which would have been nice) it was very easy to earmark an umbrella or cabana for a daily rate. At the end of our stay no one in our party wanted to leave. Can't wait to return to this wonderful property which I would highly recommend to my friends and family. Mehr

My boyfriend and I stayed one night for Valentines day. The hotel itself took our breath away and that was before we walked into our room. We did the upgrade room promotion and our room was like a studio apartment. They did not skimp out on any of the luxuries. Large flat screen, full kitchen, large bathroom with honest to goodness soaps (skin felt […] so soft & I usually hate hotel soaps), the view was spectacular (on the beach) and the balcony was large. There is absolutely no complaints but I do wish the bed sheets were softer. The pillows were large and comfy though. It was a home away from home and the breakfast the following morning was DELICIOUS. I highly recommend this hotel and it will be the primary hotel I will look into for future bookings. Mehr

The new Hyatt at Clearwater Beach was great! The staff was concerned about our well being and treated us as if we were a memeber of their family. Everything was "over the top". We enjoyed our stay immensely. I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay there the next time we are in town.

The hotel itself was new and clean. The location was great. The thing that bothered both my husband and I was the set up of the hotel. The garage is underneath and very inconvenient while going in and out of your room, you have to switch elevators. The same for going to the beach. The whole setup is horrible. They just didnt go the extra mile...which […] I would expect from a Hyatt Regency...visited other hotels in area and they had ice water with lemons by the pool ...etc...thats what I mean by the extra mile... Spent two nights of the Labor Day Weekend here, and had a wonderful time. We were upgraded to a suite at check in for the same price, and found all the amenities and services to be first rate. The facility itself is very nice, but it was really the staff who (to a person) made it such a pleasure to hang out there. We'll definitely be returning.

It was a wonderful experience. The room offered great views of the gulf. It was clean and spacious. The over sized hot tub on the 16th floor, along with the 8th floor pool, made for a unique experience. I highly recommend The SHOR grill downstairs. Clearwater Beach was beautiful. The restaurant at the hotel was great. We loved the view from the room and the beach. The only negative was the air conditioning. It did not seem to cool the room adequately. The air conditioner constantly came on and off throughout the night. Every time it came on I woke up due to the noise. The property is only a few months old and reside in the center of everything. My room was great.. I loved the kitchen with a stove and full size refrigerator. Everything in the room was immaculate!! Now my favorite part was the hotel Bar - Skimmers - See Lance (the greatest bartender ever) and tell him Princess sent you!! He will give you the best […] experience ever and the food there is very good. Try the Grouper with chill lime and cilantro garlic rubs... Excellent! Loved the design of this hotel, the 8th floor pool was the best part with Gulf views and total privacy for hotel guests. Can't wait to go back ...

Perfect location on stunning beach

It's a new hotel and it's right on the beach. That about sums up the strengths. Overall it falls short of expectations I have of the Hyatt brand and four star hotels. It's clean enough. It's big enough. There's just nothing remarkable about it that makes it anything other than average.

Da jeg ankom hotellet ble jeg oppgradert til en svær leilighet! Så jeg hadde mine tre beste netter her på Hyatt! Stive priser men av og til må man unne seg litt ekstra! :) dette er ren luksus! WOW!!!

L'hotel est neuf et nous avons eu la chance d'avoir une suite avec jacuzzy et terrasse au dernier étage. La chambre est grande et la salle de bain très agréable. La dimension de la suite était impressionnante (couloirs, dressing avec espace coiffeuse). Le lave vaisselle est même mis en route par l'équipe ménage si vous oubliez de le faire. Rien à dire […] sur le service hotelier seul petit nuage la plage, il n'y a pas d'espace réservé à l'hôtel et donc si vous n'avez pas prévu le parasol (ensoleillement estimé à 360 jours par an!) il faudra aller en acheter un au magasin du coin... il check in è stato rapido e l'addetta alla reception era molto cortese. viaggiavamo con nostro figlio di un anno e c'era un pacco regalo per lui (conteneva un peluche, una palla gonfiabile e dei prodotti per il bagno), davvero una gradita sorpresa. le camere sono pulitissime, molto grandi, sono tutte suite con cucina, forno, frigo e piano snack per […] fare colazione, veramente comodo soprattutto con un bambino piccolo. la struttura è no smoking, ma ogni suite è dotata di un terrazzo con tavolo e sedie in cui si può fumare. ad ogni piano c'è una lavanderia a gettoni. la piscina è bella, grande e con una vista meravigliosa. inoltre all'ultimo piano c'è una terrazza con un solarium e una jacuzzi. anche il check out è stato rapido. avevamo fretta e molte valigie perciò abbiamo usufruito del valet parking, ma il parcheggio pubblico è proprio accanto. il famoso molo e la spiaggia di Clearwater sono proprio dietro all'albergo dove infatti c'è anche un'altra entrata con ascensore.
