Lovely, warm, cosy, tasty breakfast, clean and friendly. Everything about our stay was positive and great. We wished we could have stayed longer due to Staybridge Suites being so lovely!

This is the second time I've stayed at the Staybridge in Newcastle and I would highly recommend it. It's a great 'hotel', fantastic location in the centre of Newcastle and the quality of the fixtures, fittings and furniture is very good. The rooms have their own kitchen and sofa, a feature I love, even if I don't actually use it that much. The rooms […] have been quiet and are very comfortable. There is also a laundry facility and a small gym room. The only negatives I can think of are that the views from the 3rd floor aren't amazing, especially if you're over looking the parking area. just the best hotel experience. Fantastic suite fully equipped kitchen, great breakfast included and really friendly and helpful staff (Dale, Natalie and Mia for thanks for looking after us so well). very friendly efficient staff, beautiful room. Comfortable and welcoming. Only suggestion I would have is that when in the shower, there is no where to put soap/flannel/shampoo. Otherwise great.

What a discovery, Hotel was superb and staff very very helpful and friendly, would highly recommend.

It's a bit further removed from the center of town, but close to Quayside, Northumbria University, and well within walking distance for those who don't mind a short stroll. The subway is also nearby, within a 7-10 minute walk. This hotel ranks very high in all respects, and is perfect for both singles and small families. Loved the room, very comfortable, good facilities. Breakfast was good. Only downside was the parking fee which is quite expensive for one night at £8. Liked the pantry idea where you could purchase snacks at any time of the day or night. Will look to stay again if in Newcastle.

Good quality, friendly hotel. Very expensive (like all) during great north run. Ony negative - bathrooms rather basic (and no bath) but functional.

The suites were amazing. They were clean, comfy and modern. The hotel serve breakfast too even though the room has kitchen facilities. I got a taxi to town on both nights I stayed there due to the amount of luggage I had but it was not far at all. I would say around 10-15 mins walk at most. The Staybridge Suite was simple fabulous! Upon check in we were upgraded suites. The Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The facilities were outstanding and the suite was clean and gorgeous. We had a very relaxing end to our holiday at the Staybridge Suites. We will definitely stay again.

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, my room was clean, comfortable and ultra modern. The location was excellent for nights out, £3 taxi ride to the main trendy bars of Collingwood St. Definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

My only criticism would be the temperature of the rooms,it was unbearably warm and the air con did not seem to work as well as it should

Great rooms, good staff, not so good area, but would go back

Very nice hotel. Very nice room very nice food. Wasn't told about £8 carpark fee until got to hotel to book in. Surrounding area a bit of a dump. But close to city centre. £3:60 taxi to quayside. Overall very nice hotel.

We couldn't have been happier with this hotel. The room had a full kitchen, the hotel offered a wonderful breakfast and free laundry. There was tea service in the room and the metro was very close. I thought the hotel was great!

First impressions of the hotel were good (apart from the road works that were taking place both Saturday and even Sunday morning that I could hear in my room). Great finish to the interior of the rooms, has pretty much you would need over a weekend stay like I had. Location is a bit out of town and twice taxi fellas tried to rip us off. Very nice and beautiful hotel located near river-side and also not too far away from central station. Easy to commute to town centre. Hotel facilities are excellent and hotel interior is very soothing.

Slightly off the beaten track but a short walk to quayside. A good concept - studio rooms intended for longer stay business travellers - excellent facilities, including good kitchen, very comfortable.

2nd stay here, very clean & modern - love it very laid back feels like your own apartment If you want a hotel with room service & staff on every corner, this isn not for you! If you want comfort & freedom with no stuffiness then this is ideal!

Room concept brill & very comfortable. Only small grips, you cannot reach bedside lamp without getting up. no where to dry damp towels as they are not changed daily. Breakfast only had 3 hot items per day, so don't expect full English!

The best place to stay in Newcastle ever. Had a top floor room with views over the Tyne and over to the Sage Gateshead that I doubt even the top end hotels could get. The breakfast, cooking facilities and complementary laundry facilities made the stay superb and even more so when you consider what we paid to stay there. Happened to be staying when complementary […] curry night was on and had a brilliant light meal with beverages as well. Many hotels could take a lesson for the service and experience we recieved at the Staybridge Suites in Newcastle. Would stay any time I visit Newcastle. Mehr

I booked a room here to attend a conference and was pleasantly surprised by the standard of the place. The room was extrememly spacious and had everything you could want really. There was a large flat screen TV and a really nice shower. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely book this place again if I ever return to Newcastle.

I stayed in this hotel for 2 nights with my husband and we both felt that the Hotel was modern in appearance and the staff were very friendly. The hotel also offers nibbles and free alcholic drinks ( wine and larger) at 6.00 - 7.00pm. Not only was this nice it enable holiday makers to mix with other and created a friendly atmosphere. I was also suprise […] that the continatal breakfast included egg, sausage and beans. The room were large in size with an open plan Kitchen area. They are to a high standard however the bedroom window does not open so no chance of any fresh air although they are air conditioned. The only negative was it is £8 for parking so for 2 nights cost £16. However this was the same if you stayed for a week, this hardly seemed fair. The only things missing from this hotel is a bar and a swiming pool. The hotel is close to the city centre betwen 10 - 15 minutes walk and cost us between £4-5 in a taxi. Mehr

The staff were great, the room, the bed (soooo comfy), the location, the morning and evening buffets. Just wonderful. Hands down, the best place I've ever stayed!

Up until this stay I'd always tried to book in with the Hilton, but I don't think that will be happening anymore! The staybridge is something a bit different, it is very high quality, but gives you options should you decide you don't want to go out at night you have no problem taking something there to cook, or even ordering take-away in. Breakfast […] was good although it's only even bacon OR sausage - never both. There was a good selection of fruit, cereals, and they even have an ample selection of soya milk (something which my wife liked as she's allergic to normal milk). On a weekend I wouldn't leave it late for breakfast as it can get crowded, and the toaster is a bit quirky, but you'll get there eventually. Staff were polite and welcoming and car parking ample. To those who gripe about car parking charges - it's not uncommon in any city these days, and pretty much any major hotel in Newcastle has the same sort of policy. The one very minor gripe is how the rooms are advertised, it's not very clear whether you get a separate bedroom when it's advertised. Generally speaking if you see 'studio suite' there bedroom/sofa is in the same room - and saying they're not particularly small rooms anyway. If you want the separate bedroom then you generally pay the higher rate (apologies for stating the obvious!). I will have no hesitation returning to the staybridge, and just wish there were more of them dotted around the country. Mehr

This was a good place to stay with comfortable bed and all conveniences of home. Close to dockside and excellent places for dinner. Great healthy breakfast, pleasant and friendly.

On arrival we were greeted on the desk by a receptionist whom spoke very quickly, when she was explaining a £50 charge that occurs for a week on your account i asked her to elaborate as i didnt quite understand and she seemed to get vexed and started talking even quicker.. which slightly annoyed me. (very handy) the room was amazing and especially loved the shower it made the evening very special as we were going to see a band at the Sage so it was all walking distances!.. the room was to a perfect standard and impeciably clean!.. thank you! The hotel was fabulous, just like a posh bedsit. The staff were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was OK, not the greatest selection for vegetarians. Spent one night with my husband and children aged 13 and 10,and from the moment we walked through the door to reception we could not have been made more welcome. The rooms are beautiful, very modern and comfortable, breakfast fantastic and it feels more like a home from home than a hotel. Staybridge suits are gorgeous, stayed for 1 night and wished we were staying longer. Rooms have everything you need with added extras. Everything in the hotel was immaculate and we couldn't have asked for any higher a standard. Have stayed at the Hilton Newcastle and Greystreet Hotel but Staybridge Suites will be top of my list next time i visit. Staff […] were brilliant, so was the buffet breakfast. Hotellet ligger ca. 20 min. å gå fra sentrum, men nær elvebredden med Milleniumbrigde og Gateshead. God service, god frokost, greie rom. Ikke renhold mellom ankomst og avreise. Greit pantry om du skal bo noen dager/lage mat selv. Bra internett

Gjennomgående en hyggelig og gjestfri betjening. Noe av det beste vi har opplevd. Frokosten kunne dog ha hatt et noe bredere sortiment.

Vi var veldig fornøyd med hotellet. Flotte rom med fullt kjøkken. Veldig god service og god frokost. Reiser gjerne igjen.
