Hotel Fortune - Mumbai

Not clean, the desk clerk was supposed to pass on a message from our tour company at check in and failed to do so. Not close enough to the areas we wanted to see and not convenient for transport. Did not think it was value for money, stayed in a much bigger room in Colaba for less.

Suggested to have in house multi cuisine restaurant

Hotel was Ok, nothing fancy also not hot water for shower. Staff was helpful and friendly. Don't expect anything European, the shower and the toilet are located next to each other so shower and toilet literally nrxt to each other.

We had booked a standard room with two double beds for three people and got there and there was two single beds in a tiny room and we were severely disappointed. It was misadvertised to us, they were reluctant to change the room and openly fought with us about what we had booked. Eventually they changed the room when we complained to our intrepid travel […] tour leader but they in no way seemed to appreciate our custom and the rooms were extremely average with the shower having no hot water and a window which we couldn't shut overlooking a terrible view. We arrived in Mumbai at 6am and were hit by the monsoon. We (2 adults and 2 children) arrived at the hotel at 7am soaked through to our skins and all of our luggage. A less than helpful receptionist said that they could not help and we would have to wait until 12 noon check-in. So we sat for 5 hours. The room was spacious but not especially clean. The […] location is great 15 ins walk from central station and in heart of shopping, cinema, restaurants etc. A basic complimentary breakfast was given. small beds, peeling ceiling, bathrooms not adequately western. convenient location though,

The hotel has nice location near the metro circle. Major shopping areas are nearby, ample options of conveyance, availability of nearby good restaurants, proximity to leopold cafe, JBIMS, churchgate etc. The staff was polite and helpful. I would definitely return to the hotel

We are a reputated jeweller of kolkata (India) we booked this hotel because of its close distance to the Wankhede Stadium to watch the World Cup Final match. Unfortunately, the experience of the stay was just horrible. Due to security reasons, I decided to leave my cell phone in my room, but when I returned from the stadium, it was gone. Simply Gone..........can […] anyone believe it!!!!!!!!!!! My phone just disappeared. Although my room my securely locked, someone, I am sure it must have been the hotel staff, had sneaked in my room, and took away my cell phone. When I reported this incident to the reception, they simply disregarded my complaint and took no serious steps to even try for the recovery of my loss. The very next day, before check-out, when they asked me to settle the final bill, they gave a receipt which did not have a vat number or any other Valid Company ID Proofs / Numbers in the bill,. They even shouted and said that they would in no way give any details and that is their way, so its better I simply pay and leave. They even said that any report to the Police would be of no harm to them, as they have settlement everywhere. Hence, I would request all travelers to BEWARE of this hotel and never ever even step inside it by mistake. Hotel Fortune is indeed a place of Great MISFORTUNE. Mehr

Good location but slightly grotty. The first two rooms we were shown had mould over the walls but the thrid room was OK. Location is the hotels main advantage as its very close to Chowpatty, Marine Drive, Gateway of India, CST Station etc .. i.e. Mumbai's most well known tourist spots. Overall the hotel was acceptable for the price but not somewhere […] I'd choose to stay again. Mehr

Standard rooms have no windows. If you are longing for a window, go for deluxe.

鉄道駅や食べ物やさんからは近いので便利。 朝食は屋上のテラスでとった。 清潔度が劣るのと、レセプションの人はあまり親切な印象を受けなかった。
