The hotel aervice is good and there is a good restaurant but there is a dicoteque above in the 8 floor an you can hear the music in the night, also the surround is very loudness, traffic, school children, client of room above and a screaming cock at 6 am. I hope was just in this time, but.....

This is an excellent hotel for the price. Location was great. Friendly staff. Easy to check-in/check-out. Very clean rooms. Breakfast was also good. I can recommend this hotel to anyone. And I will stay there on my next trip. Thanks for the great service

I was there on business for 5 days. Room was clean and comfortable. Restaurant is awesome!!! Bar/club was very nice. Staff was very attentive and accommodating. Free parking. Free internet (fast). Not a 5-star hotel, but it's the next best thing.

I made my reservation for an Superior room w/kitchen. when I checked in they gave us a standard room, with NO Explanation.I came back to front desk to explain what happened.this time different person was in charge..after Tipped him $20 US gave us the right room.2 of the window curtains were working,they never fixed it. Kitchen had a burner and a small […] refrig. There was no appliances at all,I mean Nothing not even a single plate,accept 2 drinking glasses that's all. The restaurant was not bad, hoe ever service was terrible,if you left your table for a bathroom, we were asked to pay the Bill first..breakfast quality of the food was really bad... you can find many other hotels around the area with same price.. Hotel was fine and good location but very noisy because there is no carpet nor in rooms neither in halls. It also has a narcotraficantes look with some clients with their guns and weird faces.

This isn't the fanciest hotel I've ever stayed at but the staff makes the difference. They ate good, hard working people who appreciate their job. I would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't need all the frills.

I stayed with mi family for 2 days/2 rooms and we all have only possitive comments about this hotel. A very kind staff, prompt service when we needed it, good breakfast included, excellent location for an affordable price. The hotel has a very nice club at roof top which was very convenient for my children ages 22/30, excellent view from pool area at […] roof top. The club music on a saturday night may bother some people, it did not bother me though. Mehr

The Best Hotel And Excellent Services

The Hotel may not be a 5 star but is really nice...The breakfast was good...The service was good....Everything is kinda close....The Art Museum...The malls ( 2 of then) The Discos and some nice Restaurants... Most of this places are at walking distance.....No more than 10 to 15 min walk...

The Hotel is excellent for the price paid. The breakfast is excellent and included in the rate. The comforter for the beds must be changed more often, it was not clean and odorless.

I was not expecting much from this hotel because of the price, but after staying for only two nights ( had an appt close by) I will defiantly go back and stay longer. The free […] breakfast was delicious!!! I thought it was going to be continental food! Oh no! They served everything you would be served if you were to stay at a Dominican families home. Mashed plantains, boiled eggs, egg omtlt, scrambled eggs, pancakes, salami, sausages, different types of potatoes. Cream of wheat, fresh fruits, all sorts of breakfast pastries! Different fresh squeed juices, delicious coffee!etc!... I was really impressed, my husband and i just loved and it's included!.. The rooftop pool and bar is amazing, small but great pool, sometimes you cld have it to yourself and you feel as it's a little retreat! The rooftop is especially nice at night when all the lights come on, you feel like your in a trendy Miami lounge with a pool next door! Fab!! Especially for taking pictures. There are some nice restaurants near by, like Tony romas, but the hotel restaurant is just as good! You should take a cab there, especially if you are not familiar eith the area. Ovesl great hotel for the price, clean and fun. I sm planning on celebrating my mother in laws birthday at the rooftop pool! Thats how fab I think it is!!! Mehr

Just average hotel. Staff very friendly. Hotel looks to be very dated ( old ). As you walk into the hotel you get a nice feeling though your first thought will be ( hmm looks tight and small ) . as you check in with the friendly front desk and get to the elevator, which says max capacity 6. you will think if 4 people get in this elevator we will never […] go up. due to the location of the hotel I don't believe that any window will have a nice view. As you walk into your room you will think there is no way this is a queen size bed. Durring my stay there I had to change my room at 3 am due to the A/C making noise and not functioning correctly. When I first called I was told that there were no more rooms and that they would send someone to my room ( at 3am ) to repair the unit. After the tech explained to them it could not be repaired, they then said that they would have another room for me. Seems that the room really never got cool enough for me, possibly due to the type of windows they have which seem to not really completely close. The food at the restaurant was good and the club Bianco was nice though never really got packed. Hotel not bad but needs upgrades yesterday. I will stick with more national hotels from now on. You pay for what you get...In the middle of Santo Domingo. No where near Beaches-About 25 mins. Rooms were just okay but def. could have been more clean

when i got there . at first you realize how great the neighborhood was till u get in the hotel room the furniture were outdated ,not too comfortable ,the AC in the room only turned on when you put get inthe room , it stop working for a whole day when called reception to get it fixed it took eight hours and two actual calls from me for them to actually […] sent a technician over . i will definitely not stay in this hotel anymore and would not recommend it to anyone it doesn't worth the price. The hotel is in a good area, the suite I got was big, clean and perfect for me and my family. I had stayed there before in smaller rooms, but I was not aware that they had bigger rooms for extra charge. You will not see awesome views or anything like that. Nice restaurant and lounge. Rooms are kinda old with a smell of humidity but clean Personnel is atentive with european but not with latin people, beware!! Quiet neighborhood!! good breakfast buffet!!

This is my second time at this hotel and i found it to be very good for the price. Self parking is very ez, food was very good, wireless internet was very fast and staff very nice. overall very good. make sure to visit the rooftop bar/restaurant, the view is very nice.

I enjoyed every single minutes of my stay at BQ Hotel. The staff is well trained and hotel service very good. It is close to several malls and a Tony Roma's restaurant. As they say in french: " L'expérience est à refaire sans hésitation."

Check-In went smoothly, we got an upgrade free of charge.the room was nice, and very spacious. The front desk staff was really nice, and most of them spoke English. very well kept. clean worm reseption and helpfull. Restaurant offer a good variety of dish at a reasonable price. Nice lacation, bella vista mall is at walking distance from the hotell. the downtowm area is about 15 minute fron the hotel. Taxi is most convinience if you diside to go out. Friendly staff and clean rooms. The hotel is about a $10 taxi ride to all the restaurants/bars. The hotel offers free wi fi. It has a decent breakfast which is included. It's a good place to get settled in when you first arrive in Santo Domingo. The front desk was english speaking and even helped with my directions to the next hotel.

The rate between what you pay and what you get in this hotel is very great. Nice and big room. Nice breakfast. I see only one problem to much smoke during lunch and dinner time on the looby area.

BEDS NEED TO BE REPLACED THE POOLS FLOOR NEEDS REPAIRING

I stayed at this hotel for nine days. I loved the quality of customer service provided. I will definitely stay at this hotel pretty much every time I come to the Dominican Republic. Price was exellent and the breakfast is superb! Will recomend to others :-)

The only problem I found with this hotel, was it's location. The only public transportation is a couple of kilometers from the hotel. This would not be a factor except for the fact that the taxis in the D.R. are outrageously expensive. And there's no way you could get me in the un-offical taxis or mini-buses.

Great value and hotel staff was excellent. The breakfast buffet which was included in the price also excellent. The restaurant is open till 1:00AM and has a nice outdoor dining area. Food is very good and prices are reasonable and comparable to other similar restaurants in Santo Domingo. Nice pool and bar on the top floor overlooking the city and they […] are in the process of building a lounge next to the restaurant on the first floor.The area surrounding the hotel is nice but the only negative thing is that the hotel's location is kind of far from the malecon and the Colonial Zone, but a small price to pay.Secured parking available if you decide to rent a car.I will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to SD.Enjoyed my 10 day stay very much and was very comfortable.Overall a great experience.
