The location of the hotel next to Stanley Park is perfect. I was on a business trip, and it was great to go for jogging in the morning. I also enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel bar. The view onto the water is fantastic. I can also highly recommend their cocktails. However, I would have enjoyed the hotel even more with a better hotel service. The people at the receptiion were not very cooperative.

Das Badezimmer hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, aber es war sehr sauber. Zimmer großzügig geschnitten. Der Service ist perfekt, meiner Beschwerde über Ruhestörung durch laute Hotelgäste wurde sofort nachgegangen.

Ich und meine Tochter waren im Oktober 2011 für eine Woche in Vancouver B.C. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig und liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum sehenswerten Stanley Park, so dass man auch nach einem stressigen Stadtbummel noch schnell naturnahen Ausgleich haben kann. Die Hotelsuite war sehr geräumig und sauber. An manchen Stellen ( Kaminsims, Küchenschränkte ) blätterte schon etwas die Farbe ab. Die Fenster sind nicht so dick und gut erhalten, wie wir es in Deutschland gewohnt sind, es tat dem guten Gesamteindruck aber keinen Abbruch. Insgesamt also gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Hotelbelegschaft ist besonders freundlich.

Das Hotel ist nahe der USA-Grenze. In die Innenstadt von Vancouver kann man sehr schnell und kostengünstig (Tagespass) mit der Schnellbahn fahren. Die Parkplätze sind kostenlos, der Internetzugang auf dem Zimmer funktioniert gut . Für einen Städteaufenthalt ein günstiges und zweckmäßiges Hotel.

Wir brauchten ein Hotel für zwei Nächte, um in die USA weiter zu reisen. Die Bewertung bei Hotel.comn viel uns ins Auge und wir können es bestätigen: Das Hotel ist gut vom Flughafen erreichbar. Zimmer sind für ein kurzen Aufenthalt völlig OK und nach hinten raus auch ruhig. Auto kam in die Tiefgarage ohnen Zusatzkosten. Frühstück OK, auch für Europäer. Für uns ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Sightseeing in Vancouver und Richmond und die Weiterfahrt in die USA. Preis/Leistung stimmt.
Lage
Coast Coal Harbour Hotel in Vancouver liegt mitten in der Stadt und gleichzeitig in Strandnähe sowie in der Nähe der folgenden Sehenswürdigkeiten: Olympic Cauldron, Robson Street und Canada Place. Vancouver Convention Centre und Robson Square befinden sich ebenfalls in Nähe.

"Superschönes Hotel in toller Lage"
Das Hotel ist toll ausgestattet,......super Lage zwischen Einkaufsstraßen und Waterfront Alles ist gut zu Fuß zu erreichen. Sehr, sehr freundliches Personal, angenehmes Restaurant und kleiner aber absolut ausreichender Pool und Whirlpool zum entspannen. Leider hat ein Kühlschrank auf dem Zimmer gefehlt. Trotzdem absolut empfehlenswert!

Sehr gutes Hotel in top Lage, würde ich jeder Zeit wieder hin gehen, Parken kostet allerdings 37$, aber wer in Großstädten unter weg ist (auch in USA) weiss, dass Parken überall teuer ist - es gibt auch Möglichkeiten für 12$ pro Tag zu Parken muss man(n) natürlich ein bischen laufen. "Das Hotel liegt in sehr naher am Stanleypark"
Wir sind sehr unzufrieden, da uns beim Einparken nicht darauf hingewiesen worden sind, dass die Parkgebühren inkl. MwSt. 75 Can. Dollar betragen. Wir werden dieses Hotel nicht mehr besuchen.

"Das Hotel ist sehr nah zum Convention Centre"
Sehr gute Lage, Nähe Hafen und sehr gut für Jogging, schöne Restaurants in der Nähe, Ruhig super Service, sehr gut.

"Coast Coal Harbour - environmentally friendly"
The Coast Coal Harbour was a very clean and environmentally friendly hotel. They offered large reusable shampoo/soap bottles, recycling bins, and even provided a compost bin. The food served at the Coast was delicious, and I would highly recommend eating there. "Good Choice"
Clean and bright with comfy beds and nice deep bath tubs. Felt safe to take a walk around the neighbourhood for a late night stroll. I thought the rate was very good considering the location and newness of the hotel. Only thingI can complain about is the complementary razor they gave me. Come on...single blade in 2012? From check-in to check-out, this hotel was really great in my books. All the staff were very informative and willing to assist. Food and drink at the restaurant was very well presented and at a fair price. Rooms were clean and comfortable, fantastic bedding and pillows. Large-format bath products is a great idea (with the small ones still available […] to take home). Free wired/wireless internet and only a short hop down to the sea wall and convention center. We had a great stay here. Prefect location for us. Right near coal harbour, easy access to boat cruises, sea wall, stanley park and the rest of downtown. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room clean and comfortable - would stay again.

Sometimes hotels uses "being green" as an excuse for lack of comfort etc. but not this hotel. It is very clean, and very comfortable, and very GREEN. The shampoo and shower jell were in the large bottles, and there were three garbage baskets - one for garbage, one for recycle, and one for compost. Now one for compost really impressed me! How many times […] have I regretfully thrown a banana peel into a trash! Here I did not have to! The hotel is clean, stylish, comfortable, with great staff throughout. I have stayed at a few other high end hotels in Vancouver downtown, CCH is definitely among the best. I found out it was just built in 2010, which explains the modern style and super cleaniness. The room is very comfortable and spacious, staff are super friendly and helpful, location is great. Will return again in the future.

When we arrived at the hotel, we were very impressed with botht the check in and bell boys. We went up to our room and felt like Rock Stars! What a bright, clean room. I have never been in a hotel room that was so bright-due to the floor to ceiling windows. Outdoor pool on the 5th floor was palatial. Exercise room and shower room were so clean and new. "Wish we could have stayed longer"
This hotel was AMAZING. It is about 4 blocks from Canada place and we woudl have walked with our luggage to the cruise terminal if we wern't with our parents. The staff was GREAT. The only minor thigs were no free breakfast and mostly doble beds. Those aren;t problems at all really. I woudl reccomend this to anyone.

This hotel is very modern, excellent location, very comfortable beds & super bed linen. The one small complaint is that the rooms don't have a fridge. Staff very helpful. Overall excellent.

I have stayed here the last three times I visited Vancouver. In all cases the hotel has proved excellent in terms of location, general comfort, restaurant and gym. My only issue is with the AC. Some of the rooms have slightly noisy units, so when its hot and you need the AC on during the night, it can wake you when it turns on. "Convenient to waterfront and Bayshore marina"
I stayed here on business for a meeting at Westin Bayshore; the hotel is very clean, quite quiet, and convenient to the waterfront (1 block). It is close to the Waterfront rail stop from the airport, and a short walk to the Marina and Stanley Park. Nice hotel, free wi-fi (as it should be, Westin and Marriott!). Rooms are not spacious, but efficient […] and well-designed. Only complaint - my room A/C system was rather noisy - it started intermittently with a startling roar; I had to turn it off to sleep. "pleasant stay"
hotel is located in nice part of downtown with walking access to the harbour. Vancouver in summer is hard to beat, and walking in this area is nice access to restaurants and sights. People treated us well, at all levels. Didnt use the restaurants, short stay, so cant comment on that.

We only stayed 1 night at the Coal harbour Hotel before flying home to Scotland. A month would have been better. Excellent service and room. Good location near harbour and Robson St. Would recommend this hotel.

The Coast Coal Harbor hotel provided an excellent base for touring the beautiful city of Vancouver before our Alaska cruise. Only one block from the harbor and within walking distance of many sights. Don't miss the Big Bus tour and Granville Island. The Urban Fare food store and cafe diagonally across from the hotel offers wonderful breakfast, lunch […] and dinner offerings and coffee in an upscale setting at very reasonable prices. "Coast Coal Harbour Hotel Vancouver - Loved It!"
The service at this hotel was outstanding. The staff couldn't do enough for you. It seems to be either near new or recently completely refurbished. Comfortable, very clean and well maintained. We stayed in this hotel twice and the first time we had a terrific view of the harbour. There are not a lot of restaurants nearby which is the biggest disadvantage […] of the location. However, it's walking distance to downtown and the harbour and quite close to Stanley Park with a bus service going directly past. On site restaurant is a bit on the pricey side. The only things I could find to criticize is the lack of a hand rail for getting in and out of the bath / shower and the lack of a fridge (however this seems fairly normal in North America). Mehr
"Good Location"
We had a great room in the corner, with early check in and late check out. Breakfast service was slwo but food was good. Not much in hotel apart from pool and hottub, but made use of them. Rooms very comfy and location excellent for convention centre.

The staff is really nice. Room was new & clean. Nice comfortable bed. Few blocks to Robson. 7 min walk to Gastown pubs & restaurants. 7/11 around the corner. Parking expensive due to city's taxes, so don't rent a car until you absolutely need it. I will definitely stay here again!
