Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral und ist mit der skytrain vom Flughafen prima erreichbar. Die Zimmer sind zwar nicht mehr die neuesten, aber dennoch sauber und gut ausgestattet. Das Personal ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Als Delta Privilege Member hat man das Internet kostenlos (beim check in ggf. einscchreiben oder nachfragen). Immer auf günstige Angebote achten, da Delta diese z. T. kurzfristig einstellt.

The location of the hotel next to Stanley Park is perfect. I was on a business trip, and it was great to go for jogging in the morning. I also enjoyed the atmosphere in the hotel bar. The view onto the water is fantastic. I can also highly recommend their cocktails. However, I would have enjoyed the hotel even more with a better hotel service. The people at the receptiion were not very cooperative.

Das Badezimmer hat schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, aber es war sehr sauber. Zimmer großzügig geschnitten. Der Service ist perfekt, meiner Beschwerde über Ruhestörung durch laute Hotelgäste wurde sofort nachgegangen.

Ich und meine Tochter waren im Oktober 2011 für eine Woche in Vancouver B.C. Das Hotel ist sehr ruhig und liegt in unmittelbarer Nähe zum sehenswerten Stanley Park, so dass man auch nach einem stressigen Stadtbummel noch schnell naturnahen Ausgleich haben kann. Die Hotelsuite war sehr geräumig und sauber. An manchen Stellen ( Kaminsims, Küchenschränkte ) blätterte schon etwas die Farbe ab. Die Fenster sind nicht so dick und gut erhalten, wie wir es in Deutschland gewohnt sind, es tat dem guten Gesamteindruck aber keinen Abbruch. Insgesamt also gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Die Hotelbelegschaft ist besonders freundlich.

Das Hotel ist nahe der USA-Grenze. In die Innenstadt von Vancouver kann man sehr schnell und kostengünstig (Tagespass) mit der Schnellbahn fahren. Die Parkplätze sind kostenlos, der Internetzugang auf dem Zimmer funktioniert gut . Für einen Städteaufenthalt ein günstiges und zweckmäßiges Hotel.
"Very central location & great rooms & service."
The staff is really nice. Room was new & clean. Nice comfortable bed. Few blocks to Robson. 7 min walk to Gastown pubs & restaurants. 7/11 around the corner. Parking expensive due to city's taxes, so don't rent a car until you absolutely need it. I will definitely stay here again!

"Close to Convention Center"
This hotel is very clean, quiet and convenient to many parts of the West End. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
"Great Modern Hotel Great for Convention Center"
I stayed here for 4 nights because I was at a conference in the convention center. The view is great, the room was clean and modern, and with Free wi-fi the cost was perfect. I would definitely stay here again. I miss Vancouver.
"Great downtown hotel for the price"
I was in Vancouver for a conference and we easy pay twice what I paid for this room. I do find after a long day the walk to the restaurants and Robson is a bit far. Thankfully there was a nice sushi place around the corner for quick meals, and a Starbucks. I missed having a fridge and microwave in my room. They do provide robes if you ask. "Great hotel, great Price"
This hotel was very clean, comfortable and great location. Great price for a vancouver hotel - great rates available, parking equitable to other hotels in area, and wireless internet included (most hotels in area charge a high fee for internet), and room service prices reasonable. I highly recommend this hotel for downtown vancouver area.

"Fantastic Hotel, Great location, facilities, Staff"
We stayed at the hotel for one night before travelling upto Whistler and the hotel was perfect. Its a business hotel which has all the facilities that you could need. The rooms all have 2 double beds and are very modern. The hotel is in an easy location, 10 minutes from Robson Square and great shopping. I would 100% recomend this hotel. I travel a lot […] around Europe and the world and would say i'm a bit of a hotel snob! 100% i would come back. A great 4 star hotel in my opinion. Mehr
"Expensive parking"
Overall this was a nice hotel except for expensive parking rate and noisy heater Heater in the room was very annoying that heater turned on and off every 5mins and it made the room so dry

"Coast Coal Harbour Hotel in downtown Vancouver"
This is a luxurious yet inexpensive hotel for a downtown location. The rooms are neat and clean and done in a Scandanavian style that is pleasing and restful. The thermostat is manually controlled, so it is possible to adjust the temperature of the room. The bathroom is huge and has a deep tub and is supplied with many fluffy towels and soaps and lotions […] that are better than any I've purchased. The carpeting and bedding are a sort of oceanic floral and also very pleasing, and the wall art is contemporary (though I'm sorry to say I can't remember much more about it). The drapes insulate the room well and open to a remarkable view of the downtown area and the harbor as seen through the spaces between the surrounding skyscrapers. The room features a flat-screen TV with a very easy to navigate menu that allows for in-room music, local broadcasting, and movies - you can order 1st-run, still in the theater movies and watch them from your hotel bed! The coffee supply is good, and black and herbal teas are supplied as well, along with hot chocolate. What is most pleasing is that this is a green hotel - you do not have to throw out any trash. You can compost your orange peels, recycle your newspapers (there are complimentary newspapers - The Globe and Mail, which is very interesting to read), and dispose of your plastic coffee lids in canisters that vow to make energy out of it all. Canada is good this way. The hotel restaurant is also very contemporary and understated, and the food and drink are good. The staff are all friendly and helpful. The gym is nice and overlooks the Bureau of Fiscal Services. There are elliptical machines and treadmills, as well as free weights and nautilus machines. My only complaint was that a reading lamp in the room would have been nice, one that stood above the lounge chair. Mehr

The hotel is ideally situated for easy walking access to the harbour, Stanley Park, Gas Town and all the other areas of Vancouver. Our room was fantastic with a brilliant view out over the harbour area. Everything was clean and the room service was excellent. "Coal Coast Hotel"
I stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was very modern and in excellent condition. Location was perfect as the cruise terminal and other attractions were only 5 minutes walk away. Everything in down town area was in a short walk(5-10 minutes). An excellent choice also considering the price is much less than the other major hotels in the area. Not as crowded […] and busy as the other hotels which made getting in and up to the room easier. Mehr

Just what was needed after two weeks of frantic travelling. Very relaxing atmosphere, beautiful modern large rooms. Only stayed one night but would have loved to have stayed longer and would definitely return. Lots of local restaurants, cafes and supermarkets. Convenient for the harbour, where you can take a seaplane, hire a bike to cycle around Stanley […] Park, or walk along the coast. A large Gym and outdoor pool with spa on the 5th floor. Mehr
"A restful stay"
After arriving early from a cruise my wife and I were greeted by friendly staff who stored our bag until a room was available for early check-in. The style was a bit more minimalist-modern than I was expecting, but was done very well. The room was clean and comfortable for an afternoon of gin & tonics, reading and football. The proximity to the harbor […] made for a nice evening dinner and stroll along the "boardwalk". Even though the day was overcast, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub. I would definitely stay again. Mehr

"Coast Coal Harbour excellent for Conv Center"
I booked a room for my business trip for an event at the new Convention Center. Took Canada line from YVR, walked to Hotel (3.75 dollars vs 40 for taxi) Very convenient to other coffee shops, restaurants, meetings at other Convention Center hotels.

"Clean Modern Hotel"
A very clean modern hotel, minimalist interior (i.e. Modern) with friendly staff and in a nice business district (from the looks of things). We walked to the Olympic torches from the walkway that is very close to the hotel. Very nice gym and the outdoor pool/hottub looked great (though I didn't go in). Overall had a great time at the hotel.

This modern hotel just blocks from the harbor and downtown shopping was exceptionally clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable. I would certainly recommend this hotel as very good value for the money.

This hotel was everything I was hoping it would be. We walked everywhere we wanted to get to in Vancouver, the view from the room was beautiful, and the room was comfortable and clean. The parking was expensive, but I got the impression that was the case at every parking lot on the street. I would absolutely stay here again.

"Coast Coal Harbour in Vancouver is the BEST!"
I chose this hotel because of excellent reviews and a great weekday rate, and I am so happy that I did! We were in Vancouver celebrating my husband's birthday. When we arrived at the hotel, I told the front desk that I'd like a quiet room with a view. She told us we could go upstairs with one of the bellman to check out two different rooms and let her […] know which one we liked best. This has never happened to me before! I thought it very generous of her to let us choose our own room. We selected a corner room on the 15th floor with glass on two sides looking toward the bay. Spectacular! The room was quiet and soothing, decorated in pale shades of grey, white, and sea-green. Because the hotel just opened in January 2010, everything worked flawlessly. The staff was super friendly and helpful at all times. I have not a single complaint about this hotel. Would stay here again in a heartbeat! Mehr

The hotel lobby and exterior are very basic. The rooms are clean and spacious with very comfortable beds. Overall a good value. Great location, downtown Vancouver very near to waterfront and seawall to Stanley Park. Good food at restaurant.

This hotel is handy to everything, the shops, marina, transport. The staff are all very friendly and attend to any issues you may have within the hotel. I was up graded to a king room which was a pleasent surprise and had an ocean view. I would diffinately stay here again.
