NAHUM AT THE FRONT DESK WAS EXTREMELY NICE AND HELP. I WOULD HAVE RATED THE HOTEL ALL 5'S BUT I NEVER RECEIVED THE MICROWAVE THAT WAS MISSING FROM MY ROOM. ASKED FOR ONE 2TIMES. OTHER THAN THAT, EVERYTHING WAS WONDERFUL

Very reasonable rates. The room was spacious with plenty of room for a family of five. The breakfast was wonderful with lots of variety. The pool was really small and often crowded. The hotel was close to Six Flags, but kind of hard to get to. We would definitely stay here again.

I booked and paid for the room well over a month in advance. It was a 5 hour trip. We arrived to check in around 230 am. The front desk employee was sleep in a backroom and I ended up having to call the hotel to wake him up so that we could get checked in. After checking in, the room was a single bed instead of doubles. I called down to the front desk […] and he said there was nothing he could do. We waiting until morning so that I could speak with a manager. She was very unhelpful to our situation and didn't not put forth any effort to resolve the issue. We ended up having to find another hotel that could meet our accommodations and get partial refund on Springhill. Would never stay here again. Mehr

This hotel seems to be newer. The lobby and common areas were well maintained and clean. When I requested a reading lamp bulb be replaced it was done before I returned that day. We had 2 rooms.The 1st room for 9 nights 2nd for 2. I will talk about the longer stay as that was my room. I had the coffee in my room replenished twice during my stay. Although […] I requested it several times at the front desk. I was told it was done daily but they would request it anyway. I watched them put the request in the computer and still did not receive coffee cups or glasses. Some members of the housekeeping staff seemed to be more interested in visiting with each other then actually servicing the guest rooms. I know the 2 nights I did have coffee it was the same housekeeper, who worked alone. Other times it was a group of three and one entered the room while the other 2 stayed at the door talking. The living area was comfortable w/ a sleeper sofa coffee table, desk area and microwave /fridge area. The shower /tub and vanity were separate from the toilet room which also had its own sink. The beds were very comfortable, but the walls somewhat thin and the large gap around the door allowed light to pour in from the hallway. The shower head was nice but you had to allow the hot water to run for quite a while (10 min some days) before it was actually hot. Towels were sometimes not replaced until afternoon. They had to wash them before they could replace them. They were often frayed and tattered along the edges. The Marriott should really invest in 2 new sets of towels. One to replace what they have now and one to be clean and go out with the housekeeping staff. No one should ever be without clean towels in a hotel. The selection at the free breakfast was limited but everything was fresh and seemed to be replenished when needed.The front desk staff was friendly and helpful, although not always competent in their efforts. Very happy with stay. Staff was attentive and friendly, room was modern and clean. Breakfast was terrific. Location was a bit awkward but overall was very happy with experience.

New favorite hotel!!! Loved the look and the big suite rooms! Will definately stay here again!!!

I have stayed at this hotel before with my family, and we have always enjoyed the hotel accommodations!!

My stay was very pleasant. This was my first stay at Springhill Suites and I was very satisfied. I visit San Antonio at least every 3-4 months and I usually stay at another hotel. For financial reasons I chose Springhill this visit but I was concerned that it would not meet my standards as the others that I stay in are more expensive. I loved the self serve waffles and eggs they were shaped like little Texas states!! Tasty filling and easy!

the management did not like to give extra towels, they finally gave, but I was told to call hotel ahead of time if this be needed, I had my 81 year old Mother and had to go downstairs at 11:00pm to get towels. Finally, they sent extra towels, shower do did not close properly, told the management, they never fixed it. Other than that OK

The stay over all was good. The hotel did not honor my request of a double bed room although I had paid 4 the room months b4 our vacation. They said they had rooms with the double king beds but they were reserved 4 other Mariott VIP customers so I got stuck with a sofa sleeper as my second bed. All of the pillows smelled disgusting so I threw them on […] the floor n never used them. The pool was 2 small n the room was very crowded when the sofa sleeper was pulled out. The staff was nice n breakfast was good but it always lacked several breakfast items like toast, jelly n cinnamon rolls. The room always smelled like the nasty pillows so I was always spraying perfume in the room. The stay was good bcuz we had all we needed 2 be comfortable but it could have been better if we had the 2nd bed like I thought I had booked it. They obviously have 2 make their VIP customers happy b4 the general public. Mehr

During our 8 day stay, in 2 occasions the room was not clean. At afternoon when we requested it be done we were told that their personnel had left for the day and that we surely has left the DO NOT DISTURB sign on our door. That was not true. Only one of those 2 days our room was clean.

Reservation was for 5 people, yet we only had 2 bath towels, and when we asked for more, the front desk said they were in the washer. Did not have coffee for the second day in our room, maid did not leave any. First day breakfast was good, second day - no bagels, no english muffins, no meat. The indoor pool was ant infested all around the perimeter […] of the pool. I told front desk and they said they would get someone to take care of it, but the maid came in and looked at them, then came back later and wiped the tables.......nothing done about the ants.Bed sheets had a strong smell of bleach, I had to put my shirt over the pillow so I could sleep. I have stayed at numerous Marriot properties and have never been disappointed until now. Mehr

I will give this hotel a perfect five reviews if not for the bad experience we had during our stay. The next morning of our stay we needed a towel since the house keeping left only two towels so I decided to come to the front desk and asked for an extra towel. She instead instructed me to go look for the house keeping lady to ask for towels. She couldn't […] tell us where the house keeping lady was nor which floor to begin looking for her. I decided to skip shower but in the late evening when I called the front desk guy he even went upstairs to our room and hand delivered the towels???? Mehr

First thing when we got there they charged us twenty dollars a night we had not planned on. The lock on our door and many other rooms quit working so we had to leave the door propped open and I noticed other people doing the same thing also the doors for the pool and weight rooms didn't work so we couldn't use them and they never came to fix it. Stayed one night in this hotel. It's location is off of Fredericksburg Road on a one way street. It's a bit difficult to get to if you miss your exit. The street "Y"s off from the I-10 access road. We enjoyed our stay at this Hotel, the breakfast was always fresh & delicious, could probably be better with an extra waffle iron, but the wait was well worth it. Room was clean, staff very friendly, over all it was a very pleasant stay. We highly recommend this hotel for your home away from home stay.

This hotel was so great for us to stay for Thanksgiving holiday trip. The room was much cleaner and bigger than what I've expected. However, breakfast was not good. But it's fine. In spite of so-so breakfast, I think it is good deal to stay at this hotel.

The service and cleanliness of the hotel was excellent. If you are planning to be out and about, it is a great choice. Several days we were at the hotel in the afternoon and found that one side of the entire building shakes when laundry is being done. The laundry is in the basement and we stayed on the 4th floor. We had a wonderful time! Staff was helpful and curtious, and the breakfast was great. Pool is indoor but not very big FYI. Great stay.

The room we were assigned to, there were damages. Lights weren't working, the shower turn fell off, lamps and bed lights weren't working. As far as comfort it was a nice hotel and cozy. I would recommend, but don't get room 116. It needs to be fixed.

Great place to stay wihile in the San Antonio area. The condition of the room and hotel is clean. The hotel decor is very inviting from the time you enter the lobby you cannot wait to see what the room will look like. Staff is courteous and very helpful. I really can't say enough about this place. Continental breakfast (free with stay), newly renovated with a very upscale look, and inline with Marriott great reputation. Only complaints were the room had a slight odor to it; maybe due to the recent renovation. Also, it's located on one side of I-10 that can be a bit tricky to navigate to with all the […] Texas turnarounds. But that can be overlooked. I will look forward to my next stay at a Springhill Marriott after this visit. Mehr

A nice hotel with a modern look...excellent location during our stay as it was close to our outings..loved the sliding doors to the divided bathroom..indoor pool was a bit small though with a slight odor but I would likely choose this hotel again over several others as the room was comfortable

This location has good intentions but falls short of it's potential. I booked here on a Tuesday when the hotel was fairly vacant. That said, I was still placed in a poorly located room on the second floor with my window right above the entrance. I could hear the people talking outside not to mention the loud music until late in the evening hours. I […] found hair in between the sheets and comforter and the walls are paper thin. I could hear both the people above me running around and digging through their luggage as well as the people in the room next to me playing a radio and entertaining. If the hotel was not booked up why put occupants so close? The workout room had no clean towels but a hamper full of dirty towels and only god knows how long they were sitting in there. The staff was helpful, the room was clean and organized. The smell of the hotel was pleasent, the pool was smal but still enjoyable. The exercise room was great and the breakfast rounded off the morning. There was only one issue I had and that was with the pillows. We have a great time on this hotel, it is very clean and looks new. Also is just to 10 minuts from La Cantera shops and Six Flags. Good price

Room was amazing although it smelled like someone had been smoking in the room. They could not switch rooms to accomodate. Very spacious, breakfast was good. Great location.

I wish the front desk attendants would know the rooms and their amenities to provide the customers with correct information. I called the hotel before i booked the hotel through hotels.com.I spoke to a lady and i made myself very clear on what kind of a room i needed. I was going to be driving 10 hrs with my children just to get there after midnight […] and the room is not what we asked for . The room was filthy. The front desk was very uncooperative and the worst of all is the manager Cindy very unprofessional. She will be in the office but advice her staff to lie she is not available. Would not advice anyone to consider this location especially if out of state and visiting San Antonio for the first time. Mehr

I liked the hotel. I was not happy that i had to go get towels downstairs and it seems like they ran out of clean towels. They need to realize that they are running a business. I overheard a supervisor arguing with a customer. The customer asked for an apology and the supervisor did not give one. That customer also needed towels. Our family always stays @spring hills, but recently we were totally desapointed. WIll not return to this hotel anymore. THe beds are comfy but carpets has lots of stains ( red wine or maybe blood..), we did not have any fresh towels until 6.30pm..... ( chekc in was at 3.00pm)

Loved the online pictures and was not disappointed once we arrived. Everything went smoothly at the time of check in. Loved that there was a sm gym and especially indoor pool. Enjoyed the many restaurants around the hotel. We all enjoyed the breakfast every morning! The rooms were the same as the pictures. Loved the contemporary look of the room. Loved […] the pillows. Enjoyed that the toilet (with a sink) was separate from the "master" bath! We will definitely be staying there once again & will recommend to all my family members! Thank you! Mehr

We choose to stay at this locataion because we had stayed there last year when we visited San Antonio. I love the lay out of the room, two separate bath areas and a separate living area.

Beautiful hotel, nice and clean. Friendly staff and the breakfast wasn't too bad either. Would definitely stay there again and recommend to others!

This hotel was emaculate. From the moment you entered the hotel its new and comtemporary style shout out clean and well kept. Definately New & Updated. The ammenties were wonderful as well. Indoor Pool, gym and complimentary breakfast in the morning. The room itself was perfect for our family. The room had a seperate living area with a pull out sofa […] for the kids to sleep in. Even the inside of the room was contemporary and felt new and clean the moment you stepped in. I have to say this hotel was by far the best for the price and location!! Well worth it!! Mehr

This is for the hotel Spring Hills in San Antonio TX- close to Six Flags Fiesta Texas. I'm in love with the staff at this particular hotel, the service was awesome and their employees were so amicable. I'm more likely to make my reservation on that same hotel for the month of October. Please congratulated from me and I will see them soon!!!
