Walking distance from inner harbor / Camden yards. Close to public transportation (free bus to Penn station & Bolt bus). Rooms are small but economical and comfortable. Only problem was lack of proper TV package. I could not watch the Orioles in Baltimore!!! Who needs HBO?

First of all, I will say that most other hotels just a little closer to the Harbor than this Quality Inn go for, at least, twice what we paid per night. Second, if you are going to spend most of your time outside of the hotel, it is an okay place. That being said, you should have an idea what to expect for the relatively cheap price: the smallest bathroom […] I have ever seen in my life, with a sink outside of the bathroom; a very small, cramped room that was not comfortable for the 3 of us and all of our stuff; a location that is a little "iffy"---there were a lot of public safety officers during the day, and also a lot of transient-looking people just hanging around the area all the way down to the Harbor....I would not feel safe in the area in the dark. The location is a 6 block walk to the Harbor, not bad at all. The breakfast was adequate, a typical "free" hotel breakfast of cereal, breads, waffles, some egg and sausage offering. The hallway and the room we were in were a little dingey looking and feeling. The two beds in our room were double sized, not queen, and were not very comfortable. The pillows were the tiny half=pillows, as standard ones would not have fit on the bed for 2 people. There was no room fridge or microwave. Just because of the cheap price, I would stay here again if it was just 2 of us. Two adults and a teen were not comfortable here and I wouldn't choose this hotel if that was our situation. Mehr

This hotel was a pleasant surprise, while the rooms were small, the upgrades were exceptional, the room and bathroom was brand new and very clean. The breakfast was also a nice addition. My only complaint would be the area, I stayed with my daughter and we were not comfortable walking in the area at night. No doorman to call a cab and the curb is not […] right outside the front door. THE ROOM WAS VERY SMALL, HEATER MADE LOUD NOISE WHEN COMING ON N GOING OFF, WE HAD HAIR ON R BLANKET, N THE SHOWER CURTAIN, TRASH BEHIND THE NIGHT STAND, WAS NOT HAPPY.

The location suited us because we needed to be near the Hippodrome, although the neighborhood is not the best. The room was clean, adequate, and the breakfast was good. The heat did not work in the first room, but the staff was very pleasenat and accomodating and gave us another room and a welcomed discount. Great staff.... Hotel USE to be really nice, but its still ok. The parking deck is half a block block back on a one way street.... Its a city... So it tightly packed!

Although it doesn't seem that it should be since it is located across the street from the courthouse, the area that this hotel is in feels really sketchy (we were there on a Saturday night). However, the service was great and the breakfast in the morning was much more than expected. It's only a few blocks away from the Inner Harbor. The inside is somewhat […] dated, but also has evidence of a relatively recent updating. Overall this hotel isn't anything super special, but it was a great deal for where it was and was within walking distance to the attractions that we wanted to go to for the day we were there. Mehr

Great price and location. And there is an easy access all night parking garage across the street. Staff is also nice. But you get what you pay for. This is a renovated hotel done by bad contractors. Every detail is either broken or does not work correctly, such as door knobs, shower doors, etc. The rooms and common areas are also not very clean. A great buy for the money and location. Much cheaper than nearby hotels, this is a renovated hotel that is clean, has great hot water, wifi, and very nice, helpful staff. It is near the Harborfront, in downtown Baltimore. The neighborhood is not the greatest, but it is very convenient to everything, and much cheaper than the other hotels in the area. […] I was here on business, and would definitely stay here again on business, or for a short stay in which I would not be in the room that much. This hotel has some merits, a beautiful old building turned into a hotel. The rooms were nicely furnished, but the heating/cooling system was very noisy. It's in a very convenient spot in downtown Baltimore. However the neighborhood is scary- homeless people (sadly) hanging around in the streets and late at night we could hear them yelling loudly outside […] from our room. Some were still around the next morning. Also there was a constant sound of other street traffic, including sirens and firetrucks. Mehr

Ok hotel with small rooms. Don't plan to watch any sporting events. No espn channels in rooms. HBO was available.

The hotel is very run down. The wall paper is peeling off the walls. The bed skirt was ripped the full length of the bed. Other than the fact that it is centrally located and the price was reasonable, consider this place only as a flop, sleep shower and go!

The front desk guy was the BEST!!!! I think his name was Raymond...he even called around to find an Italian Restaraunt that had homemade pasta for us!!!!

Located in a older building, this hotel has far more character and charm than your average Quality Inn or similar mid-range chain hotel. It's a short walk to the Inner Harbor and a not-bad walk to the North Charles Street area. Much less expensive than the bigger hotels nearer the Inner Harbor. Nice, interesting, even arty decor--again, a pleasant contrast […] to most hotels in this niche. Only two downsides: (1) service was only ok: slow at check-in and check-out, slow to replenish items at breakfast (including, most annoyingly, coffee...); and (2) the immediately surrounding block or two is a little sketchy: the hotel is across from a state courthouse and has more of homeless population than do most other blocks in the area. Unless you are really put off by those things, it's a good choice: a good hotel with character in a good location at a good price. Mehr

Fantastic view very comfortable... parking in the garage was safe

We had previous hotel guests garbage in our room when we arrived. That was just the start. They would not remove garbage from the cans unless you pulled the liner out and placed it on the floor. There was hair in our beds and in the bathroom. If every room in Baltimore had not been booked for the convention we were doing, we would have left on the spot. […] I was extremely disappointed in this hotel. Terrible experience. The gal at the front desk tried to be helpful and was nice enough, but it could not make up for this filthy hotel. Mehr

The hotel was fine and at a decent price.

The front desk staff were very helpful. Housekeeping: Never emptied or washed the coffee maker. There was a bright pink tic tac mint on the floor when I arrived and 4 days later when I left it was still there! The first night I unlatched the rope that held the curtains open and the whole fixture fell out of the wall. The hair dryer worked for 5 seconds […] at a time and then overheated, a staff member from the front desk did bring me a new hair dryer on my last day Mehr

When we arrived the receptionist had a bad case of the hiccups. The entire time she was checking us in she was hiccuping and belching in our faces, rather than excusing herself to address the problem. We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Our room was not cleaned at all when we got back late at night after the first night. Somehow the housekeeper forgot […] our room existed. Also, when we arrived back at the hotel late at night we were thirsty and attempted to buy a bottle of water from the machine on our floor. Well, the water was out. We tried the machines on every single floor and every one of them had no water! When we told the manager the next day, he didn't seem to care, shrugging it off as if to say, "Oh well, life goes on." The hotel was reasonable and the service was good. I must say however that if you drive or if you have someone who wants to visit you who drives, it's not the place to stay. They have no parking facility and it's almost impossible to park... especially if it's in the evening or night time. The other shortcoming is that I bought food with me on the bus […] and they had no facility for me to store and freeze my ice packs. Breakfast was just ok. I'm also not sure if this booking was added to my rewards value. Mehr

Other than the breakfast which can be forgotten, the stay was really perfect.

Staff was accomadating, great and profossional. I am a business traveler and I will be returning to the Baltimore area next year, I will be sure to stay at The Quality Inn in Baltimore!

We couldn't have been happier with our hotel choice. We were close enough to the inner harbor to walk. Our room was clean and comfortable... and we had breakfast every morning. Thanks again. I would def book again!

Good location. Good hotel. Decent breakfast spread. The lady at the front desk was extremely cordial and helpful. She even mailed my Camden yards postcard and put a stamp on it for me!

The entrance doors are inconvenient. The air conditioning in the lobby area wasn't working properly. The double bed room was cramped and the closet was ridiculous small!! The bathroom floor needed some touch up and the cleaning of the rooms by the maid was below par!! the area outside the hotel needs a sprucing up too! I would never stay here again. the streets around the hotel and in front of the hotel was packed with homeless people and some what of a slum

We were only there for a night, but based on the other reviews I was not expecting much...I was impressed with how well maintained the hotel seemed. The staff was freindly and they even had a free continental breakfast. It was within walking distance of the attractions we wanted to go to also. Definitely would stay here again!

They have done a nice job keeping up this vintage hotel. The room was a bit small and had a view of the side of parking garage. However, the inside of the hotel is very nice. As long as the price was reasonable, I'd stay there again.

I only stayed one night but I was happy with the room. Although small it was very clean and worth the room rate for the night. Since it was a short stay I was unable to use any of the hotels oher amenities.

Real bad Neighborhood. Everything and anything is very old call the front deskt and they are like you a pain . The worths hotel I ever stay on .rugs are black no shoes and you socks are brown no security at all first thing when we go to are room they where working in the toilet call the front desk and they see they will call me back but they never did […] we where waiting for hrs before WE call them firts and last time Mehr

A bit old fashion style but in excellent location with car a garage only block away and downtown in walking distance.

The Quality Inn room was really small for 2 people. The room was supposed to bhave a king size bed , but it was more like a small queen. The room however was clean, but the a/c unit made so much noise that it was impossible to sleep with it on. We would run it all day while we were out and cut it off at night. That was a problem, but we were working […] and so didn't really pursue anything better. The room was small. Make sure you book a room with 2 double beds - it's better. Mehr

Great location for the money. The rooms are nice. The common areas and front doors look well used. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't need a Hilton

Our check-in and check-out process were quick and easy. Upon arriving in our room, it was clean and well-kept, providing a comfortable stay. Raymond at the front desk was very helpful in helping us get oriented to the neighborhood and finding what we needed. Overall a great stay!!

I went looking for an affordable hotel to stay in after seeing a baseball game and found a GEM!!! This Quality Inn offered me everything I was looking for and with a wonderful pleasant service that will have me coming back. I have already recomended it to my friends. Thank you for a comfortable bed and room after a great day in your city.

A great place downtown, and though the room was small it was nicely renovated and very comfortable.

Rooms were updated and clean, however the air was not working our original room, we were moved with no problem, the staff were very helpful and polite. After the move to the new air conditioned room the toilet in that room backed up, other than that we liked the room and would go back again but would be sure to ask for a room with all utilities working […] properly Mehr

Very nice and cozy. Hard to find the actual building, but once you find it very nice on the inside.

First time in Baltimore, went for Cardinals/Orioles game from St. Louis. We found this hotel by searching closest to Camden Yards, and this was perfect. Great price and right downtown. Easy access to the free Circulator bus line, safe surroundings. I would go back and stay here anytime.

Would you recommend this hotel to others?* Not at the price charged by Hotel.com. But the employees of this hotel are very friendly and helpful.

Tops for friendly and helpful staff, convenience to downtown Baltimore, the Baltimore Convention Center and the Inner Harbor, we will definately use the Quality Inn for our next stay. The quality of the our room furnishings were every bit as nice - and cleaner - than the 5 star hotel we stayed at in D.C. And your room rates include a very substantial […] breakfast, while the hot coffee or tea and ice water 24:7. Vacuuming daily would have made this hotel gem a diamond! Mehr

I would recommend happy customer service representatives that give the CORRECT information via the phone. It was sad to see that we had traveled for 7 days to come to our final hotel and have no refrigerator. Out of all of our stays, I think this was the least favorite.

The Quality Inn provides a good value for the vicinity, where hotel rooms routinely run for much higher rates. Service/amenities are pretty basic and no-frills but competently provided overall.

The hotel is located downtown and not expensive. I have stayed there multiple times and the hotel staff are not just great but really nice and helpfull. Nothing seems trival to them.....
