What you pay is what you get. Dank unserem Navi haben wir das Hotel schnell gefunden. Es lieget direkt an der Interstate. Wir kamen spät an und fuhren wieder früh ab. Parkplatz ist frei und vorhanden, Frühstück typisch amerikanisch. Zimmer war OK aber man hört die Interstate. Für eine Nacht ist es OK.

I stayed one night while traveling for business. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Continental breakfast was excellent. (I was thrilled to see chocolate mik). Towels wer very soft and the TV had a lot of channels to choice from. Only downside - the lighting in the room seemed a bit dim. Was nice when I arrived at night but could have used a bit […] more getting ready in the morning. Also, for my taste, the mattress was a bit firm. The directions originally said it was 15 mi from hunter but it is more like 30. Not to fault the hotel> The hunter mountain site has the wrong intersection for direction purposes. On the other side, hotel is brand new clean and friendly staff. In particular the lady helping in the mornings with breakfast. Our bed had a rubberized bottom sheet that made us sweat in January! they had a very high tech what to keep the bathroom door open...a triangle of wood! The only way you had heat in the bathroom was to leave the door open. Only apples were the fruit on the breakfast buffet. It wasn't awful I've stayed at worse places.

Very clean and well kept. It's clean and comfortable. Their complimentary hot continental breakfast in the morning is better than in other hotels.

The room was pretty, clean, and updated. The bed wasn't anything to write home about, but it looked really nice! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only downside was that there was some brown/black mold starting to grow at the grout lining the perimeter of the shower. Staff very helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and in good order. The mattress was a bit comfortable but had a low spot on one side. My only discomfort. Breakfast was nice and ready before the appointed time. I will definitely return.

Our stay was very good. The room was spacious and very clean. All of the hotel staff were nice and the am breakfast was also good. We would recommend this to others. The location was also very convenient, right off the thruway exit.

A great stop-over after seeing the late-night movies at the Hi-Way Drive-In movie theater, right down the road. We stayed there instead of driving all the way into Albany; it saved us from a long drive. The hotel looks brand new, and the entire place from lobby to the room was spotless. This hotel has so much potential. However, after we checked in and I found black hairs on the bathroom floor and stains in the toilet, I knew I was in trouble. The worst part about our stay was when we realized the water stopped working. Although the staff were kind enough to supply bottled water so we could brush our teeth, I felt like I was camping! […] Hopefully they can shape things up. The manager was a charming senior who couldn't do enough for us. The rest of the staff were louts more typically found in a middle school cafeteria. The afternoon I checked in, I found the toilet sluggish. Wanting to head off trouble, I went to the front desk. No one there, but a guest told me to look outside. Three young staff members were sitting […] on the planters smoking. When I told them I had a problem with the toilet, the young women who was supposed to be on the desk, offered to get me a plunger. I was shocked, and it must have showed on my face because the young man in the group said he would take care of it. I tipped him a couple of bucks afterward and HE looked shocked. Definitely not a trained staff, but the hotel physically was fine and the breakfast staff was accommodating. Mehr

The room was great. Extremely comfortable, clean, everything seemed new. The only downside was the chaotic scene at breakfast had us running to eat elsewhere. Maybe everyone went to eat at the same time?

My first and last time at the Holiday Inn! I reserved 4 weeks in advance and chose this chain because I was traveling with a 78 year old woman and did not want to take any chances on her having any discomfort. I specifically selected a 2 bed smoking room. When we arrived, I was given a king size bed in a non smoking area of the hotel. When I complained […] I was told that I did no tmake any specifications of preferences on my reservation (when I most certainly did so) and it was too late because the hotel was booked. The young lady at the desk made clear she thought I was wrong and had no regard for my protests. (SOME CUSTOMER SERVICE!) When I called Hotels.com to complain, they helpfully called the hotel for me while I was on hold. The gentleman then came back on the line to tell me that he requested that they cancel the reservation and refund my money so that Hotels.com could find me more satisfactory accommodations. Apparently, Holiday Inn REFUSED! I was stuck spending more than I usually do to sleep on a sofa bed - the most uncomfortable night's sleep!!! Hotels.com could do nothing but apologize, and they did offer to send me a small gift Cert to ease the pain. I can tell you, I travel a lot for business and that nasty hotel chain has lost me as a potential customer forever! Mehr

Stayed here for a night prior to a race at Windham Mountain. Super convenient, right off exit 21B of the Thruway, brand new, friendly staff, very clean and welcoming. Great for overnight stays, I would definitely recommend this.

Clean hotel and easy to find.

This is surprisingly quiet even though next to the thurway ... but my shower had mildew in it. Pretty gross. The AC also made the room super damp so it wasn't the best hotel stay.

The hotel is fairly new and in very good condition. Where other hotels in the area were requiring a 2-night minimum stay for the weekend, we were able to book just for 1-night. The room itself was large and clean. One minor complaint is the was no mini fridge in the room. Other rooms may have had them. Since we were only there for one night, it wasn't […] that big a deal. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had brought bikes on our trip and the manager stored them for us, so they would be safe and secure. The staff recommended a seafood restaurant down the street called "Reds", that I would highly commend. The free continental breakfast had a nice selection. Though Coxsackie isn't a pleasure destination. If you happen to be in the area on a trip and need a place to stay, I would recommend this hotel. Mehr

New nice place. Clean, neat, good rooms. Located near Albany but almost nothing in the immediate area. Some confusion in getting off the correct Exit on NY Throughway because exits go from 20 > 21> 21B . 21A > 23 heading north. You get off at 21B if anyone can figure this sequence out.

Easily accesible. Good room with comfy beds. Good pool, if small, and great jacuzzi for the after-driving need to relax. Good breakfast; service on that could be improved; several items were gone and it took 5 or 10 minutes to be replenished. Still, a really good place.

On the first night of a 2 night stay, we were given Room # 301, which had an awful, stale odor of old cigars smoke when we checked in. We attributed it to the A/C being off in the room, so we turned on the fan & A/C & went out for the rest of the day. When we returned later that evening, the cigar stench was even worse, so we called the Manager, who […] came to our room near Midnight ...to tell us that he agreed the smell was pervasive, but regrettably he didnt have another room to give us, as the hotel was Sold Out. The next day, they assigned us to another room, which we gladly accepted. End of story. Mehr

This is a very nice hotel. It is very new and would not even show up on my GPS as I went about 3 miles out of my way befre I realized it is just off I90 as you exit. Very clean, great beds and loved the bathroom and shower. I stay at a lot of hotels and never have I experienced a clean bedspread folded at the foot of the bed. I was told that they change […] it when they change the sheets. What a welcome! The Complimentary breakfast in the AM was amazing with real eggs and sausage! My only complaint and it was really no big deal is that the rooms are very dark even with the lights on! They must use very low wattage light bulbs. I will be staying at this hotel again! We needed a place to stay 1 night before Thanksgiving. The Holiday Inn Express was 10 mins from the Hudson Amtrak station. The hotel lobby was very clean and very cozy. The rooms were very nice, clean, beautifully decorated and very inviting. The bathroom was roomy with a stunning glass countertop and more than enough towels for all of us. The bed was […] very comfortable with 2 different types of pillows to choose from. Since it is a newly built hotel, all the fixtures were updated and the flat screen TV was very sleek. I would definitely go back. The breakfast in the morning had your standard variety of eggs, bacon pancakes, toast, bagels, cereals, etc. Great place to stay and conveniently located off of 87 (you can see the toll from the front.) Would highly recommend this hotel and we would definitely re-route our trip to make this a common stop-over. Great!! Mehr

Overall, it was a fine stay. We slept well, which was the main objective. However... there was minimal lighting in the room. (none in the 'suite' area with the couch and no bedside lamps) There weren't enough towels and there were no ice machines on 2/3 of the floors. We had to switch rooms after we heard voices clearly through the paper-thin walls […] from our neighbors. We went to the indoor pool area later in the evening. It was a mess, towels strewn all over the place and no other available towels. But most important- I had booked with hotels.com, therefore paying ahead of time. I saw my bank statement online in the morning and saw that the hotel had charged me as well. I asked for that to be remedied and they said they would when a manager was on duty. That's two days from now! I'm double charged and there's no one around to fix it? This could be a nice place- it's new and the rooms were nice. I loved the bathroom and the sink that was higher. But, the settling in period is over. Plus, we didn't know we were staying so close to a correctional facility until we arrived there. That was kind of creepy. Mehr

Hotel was clean and in a good location, right off the interstate. Staff that we met was extremely nice. My only complaint was the pillow. Just couldn't get comfortable. Overall, very nice.

The hotel is quite new and the rooms are clean and well appointed, although the furniture is large for the space so it feels a bit crowded. Requests, such as for clean towels in the pool, were responded to quickly and well, but the need to make them shows a little sloppiness in service. The swimming pool was icy cold and the space it is in is poorly […] insulated, so that was disappointing. The breakfast was fine and reasonably fresh. Mehr

chlorine smelling water, too many smoking rooms, confused workers at the desk, wireless internet is in the front desk only...much more...

This hotel is brand new! We were the first guests to stay in our room, which was nicely appointed. They are working out some of the glitches of a new hotel, but had close by restaurants to recommend and were welcoming and helpful.
