Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach - Mumbai

Stayed at Novotel for 3 nights with family. The quality of the hotel and the services provided were great. Getting around was easy either using the hotel taxi. There was a taxi stand nearby which was really handy. We booked a cab for a day to do sightseeing which was a great way to take in all the main city landmarks. The breakfast service was exceptional […] with a combination of both continental and indian cuisines - omelettes and dosas cooked to order were a real treat. Overall, we had a fantastic time. The only glitch was the kids coming down with a bout of gastro on the 3rd day!! Mehr

Stayed here with 2 friends for a short visit to Mumbai. Breakfast buffet was very nice, loads of different options everyday. Hotel staff were very nice, helpful and pleasant. Would definately stay here again for my next visit to Mumbai.

Excellent hotel good service good food good location and the staff were very helpful but a bit expensive at the bar!

We were very please with our stay at the Mumbai Novotel. A perfect place to relax near the beach and execellent service that leaves to enjoy every minutes of your stay.

Premier executive rooms best value for money. Access to business lounge facilities makes stay very comfortable. Convenient location for shops, eating out and Airport is only half an hours drive.

Excelent location, service, food. Its a shame internet is extra. Sampam restaurant is excellent although a bit pricey beverages, but worth for the service and food. Shame the Wifi is chargeable.

While the service staff was friendly and it did have a decent exercise room and out door swimming pool, I can not recommend this hotel to others. The food and water will make you sick for many days. The hotel management needs to really inspect how food gets prepared. The botteld water probably is also suspect too. Most of my family memebers upon arriving […] home had to see doctors for digestion problems. We stayed there for 2 days and with one exception ate all of our food there. Overall, the hotel is wonderful. It's clean and well situated. The staff is very helpful, and the restaurants are good. It's located on a relatively quiet section of Juhu beach. The beach itself is quite dirty--with garbage routinely washing up ofn the shore--but that's not the hotel's fault. My only quibble with the hotel has to do with he number […] of beds in the room. When I booked the hotel, I noted that there would be 2 adults and 2 school-age kids in our party. However, when we got to the suite, we found one king size bed and one cot. When I told reception clerk that we would need another cot, for our second child, he was surprised--they expected her to sleep with my husband and me on the bed. When I said that she would need her own bed, they said that they would send one up--but getting that extra bed would incur extra charges of approximately $20 per night. We had no choice except to agree to the charges, but still feel that they were unneccessary. Mehr

The hotel is overpriced for what it is. The staff is not very helpful, they gave me a cheaper room than what I have paid for and cleaning of the pool area should be much better. Room and location was nice. Charging €14 for internet/day is also overpriced - this is a standard today even in 2* hotels. I think you can get a better deal in the Juhu beach […] area. Mehr

everything was just perfect only two things were lacking 1.welcome by the hotel rating on a scale of 0-100 would be 00 2. check in and out procedure was too slow never felt as an executive guest of the hotel and the icing on cake was the staff at check in and check out were too stubborn and rude at one point of time felt not even too check in at this […] hotel. Good hotel...hopefully your view is of the beach rather than the rubbish lake nearby. Very good and lively lounge bar.

We had a 3 day stay in this hotel. Couldn't really fault the Hotel. Everything & everyone was really nice & the staff couldn't be more helpful. Enjoyed our short stay & will have no hesitation in booking Novotel in other parts of the world. Thank you.

Hotel is fine, quite a central location, staff generally friendly but Reception staff could have been more welcoming.

We travel to India twice a year and in the past we have used the Taj Group and also Trident. This hotel is much more relaxed and pleasurable. The rooms were superb, quiet and extremely comfortable. Staff were brilliant and the little touches of knowing our names made it all the more special. The bar was excellent especially on Friday night as there […] were many beautiful girls to admire. Novotel Juhu Mumbai Excellent location on Juhu Beach.Very close to Iskon temple.Just a short walk away. The buffet breakfast was very good

A great start/ end to a trip to India. The service was unreal. We took a day trip with one of the cabs outside the hotel with Bony, who was great. We will stay here again prior to flying home.

We stayed at Novotel in early June, the hotel is good and well kept, staff very helpful. The location is on the Beach, the beach was very dirty and smelly and need to watch where you walk. The smell comes thorough whilst swimming in pool at the hotel.

The Novotel caters to business people - different kinds of restaurants on the premises, great breakfast service, nice decor in the room, security minded with careful screenings prior to entrance to hotel. Claims to be 4 star but is lacking in many ways. The windows in most areas have rarely been cleaned, worst was all the glass in the main restaurant. The table on the floor landings near the lifts have layers of dust and marks. In the room the bathroom tiles still have the cutters original pencil markings so have never been cleaned, finishing is lousy. […] I pre-booked a car to the airport and was told to take a taxi as the hotel had no cars at the time of departure. Food in the restaurants was pretty good but service was a let down, waited 30mins for tea, no consistency with napkins. Overall disappointing, not as clean as it should have been but.. It was probably still a lot better than some of the immediate alternatives. Will try the JW Marriot next time. Mehr

Had a four day stay at Novatel Juhu with my elederly parents by reserving 2 rooms with Hotels.com. Nice big room, wooden flooring, bedroom was great, specailly the pillows and the quilt! Bathroom was very nice but the shower was just wow! Although we requested rooms next to each other, due to heavy booking, they gave us rooms on two separate floors. […] One room was upgraded to Club Floor.....so I was able to use the free internet, lounge and snacks at all times. The best view is a walk down from the breakfast restaurant towards the swimming pool, leading upto the sea. One could sit that for hours watching the life unfold on the beach as people are walking, jogging, playing, relaxing, picnicing, flying kites etc...it is so amazing.....please keep some time to sit here for a few hours just to soak in the beautiful view. Good spa and the Gym too. Varied restaurant choices. Nereby all lovely places and shopping centres, However, one thing they have to change is the huge eyesore which is a huge tank/lake of water stagnent with water with rubbish in it on the side of the hotel. Everythime one looks out of that side of the window, one sees a huge water tank full of plastic bags and rubiish, Hope the management and the local authorities will take note of this and get rid of this horrible eyesore!! Hotel was nice and clean, staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel was good, but not excellent. There was nothing special about it. Beakfast was good and the room was very clean. Juhu is a nice area to be in Mumbai but it is very far from anywhere else "touristy" If I were to go back I would recommend staying somewhere in South Mumbai. Pool area […] was great and the hotel has a nice bar where you can sit outisde and look at the sea. The beach itself was very dirty but that is what they are like in India. Overall I would recommend this hotel in terms of quality of the rooms and the cleanliness of the hotel, but I think it is just a bit too far from all the good bits in Mumbai, especially as the traffic is a nightmare, even in a rickshaw!
