Alles in allem ein angenehmer Aufenthalt. Sauber, ruhig, in der Nähe einer Mall und direkt am Interstate. Ansonsten eher abgelegen, ohne Auto geht da gar nichts. Das einzig wirklich ärgerliche war, dass das karge Fühstück bis 9.00 Uhr gehen soll und z.T. schon 10 Minuten vorher abgeräumt wurde. Für solche, die auf den letzten Drücker kamen: Pech. Und das waren einige.

We stayed there for one night because we had one night stopover for our connecting flight. We booked Castleburry Inn because it was just 15-20 minutes walk to down town Atlanta and the airport is easy to reach with MARTA. Breakfast was a little bit disappointing for the price more a stay&eat area. Otherwise our suite was clean and quiet.

Service, Personal sehr nett. Hotelaufenthalt war excellent. Ein kleiner Nachteill war die sehr laute Klimaanlage im Zimmer.

"Decent hotel but no pool or hot tub"
Nice, clean but I had to call for my room cleaning ... and I had to call more than once. They flunked on that note ... however the location was very convenient for my needs and overall a nice looking hotel. "Final Four Visit - Disappointed in Hotel"
I was disappointed in my four day stay at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel during the Final Four. I understand that the rates were raised over 50% from the normal rates - i don't like it - but I understand. What I don't understand is how, with over twelve (12) months of planning time available, the hotel did not have enough Housekeepers to clean […] our room on Monday - the day of the Final Four. In addition, during breakfast hours, I was disappointed with the level of service in the dining area - you shouldn't have to wait 5 minutes (2 days) before a waitress approaches your table - when there is NO ONE else in the 100+ seating capacity restaurant. "EXCELLENT!"
This hotel was the best we have stayed at in awhile. The staff was extremely friendly. The room was comfortable and quiet. There were tons of places within walking distance including Piedmont Park and a Marta station 2 minute walk away. I would definitely stay here again! "Best hotel I have ever stayed at!"
I travel frequently and this hotel is the best one I have ever stayed at. The staff is very friendly, and not just in the "we have to act like we like you" way. They were funny, helpful, and very attentive. "Great hotel in Atlanta"
Upon arriving until departure the hotel was spotless. Rooms were clean and well maintained. They have door men waiting for guest to arrive and will unload your luggage so you dont have to handle a thing. I took a group to Atlanta for a conference at the Dome. There is a Marta train station about 2 blocks away. There is a great breakfast brunch establishment […] a block from hotel. There is a parking lot for buses a block behind the hotel so those who are traveling with school/church groups. The hotel even has umbrella's in each room. Though not targeting the family experience, this is still a great property! Stayed for a post-holiday overnight getaway with wife and 3 kids. Excellent all around. the hotel was really nice with a modern decor. The location was amazing just two blocks away from the MARTA and there were a lot of restaurants and bars within walking distance from the hotel. "Great Price and great location"
Staff was polite and very helpful. I did not have to wait long for my vehicle. I did put in a request through Expedia that I was allergic to down pillows. "Good hotel, expensive WiFi"
Good hotel. I stayed in the single king room, which was spacious and had a pretty good view of nearby buildings. Minor complaints: 1) No windows although air con was pretty good 2) Expensive WiFi at US$15 a day! I attended a conference at Georgia Tech Hotel and Convention Center, which had free WiFI. Loved almost everything about this hotel: its decor, valet staff, restaurant, bedding, bathroom items, neighborhood, etc. As others have said, the fee to valet-park is typical for Atlanta (i.e., pricey), and with no turn-around, you're parking on the street when you're waiting for the valet guy, which can be a little dangerous and hair-raising. And […] the lighting in the bathroom really is quite dim, though the good-quality magnifying mirror really helps. Still, I'd definitely stay here again, especially if I could get a good deal via Expedia, etc. I felt like I was staying where it was hip and happening, and was really taken care of. "Great Stay"

"Bait and Switch"
I was very dissatisfied with the Renaissance Hotel in Atlanta. Upon arrival I was told that even though I had requested a double room and my confirmation listed a double room, I could only get a double room by paying a $30 upgrade for the deluxe suite. I paid the $30, but did not find anything deluxe about.the room (it was a typical room for this price […] point). We had also booked the room for 4 people, but only had 3 sets of towels. "Fancy!"
First hotel that we've ever stayed in that had valet parking (I'm from Kansas, ok?) The bell boys were very accommodating with our luggage, and when we needed our car out of the valet parking, the attendants were quick and helpful. "Delightful boutique hotel; Staff not so cohesive"
This was our third visit to this hotel in Midtown. Unfortunately the staff of the Renaissance is not equal to that of the former Kimpton Palomar. We were disappointed with the front desk, lack of concierge, etc. We were told upon arrival that we'd have use of the hotel car to our nearby dinner reservation, which did not work out.No one seemed to know […] what was going on. The complimentary bottle of wine was delivered to our room too late to enjoy. On the plus side, the terrace bar was delightful and the service was prompt and courteous.
