Love staying at this hotel, this was our 3rd extended visit in the past year. Clean, firendly staff, very good food, comfortable and in general a great value.

Best value in town.

This is a very nice, clean hotel with a bright contemporary lobby and lots of conveniences. Rooms were nice and bright too, and bathroom was clean and comfortable (sinks could be a little larger though). My only pet peeve is the A/C units in each room--you would think by now hotels would have figured out how not to have their curtains blowing in the […] A/C-generated breeze and have a thermostat that would not run the heat or A/C continuously through the night and day. Kind of ridiculous that the heat or air conditioning doesn't come on/off as needed rather than running constantly or being shut off permanently. Come on Cambria--you can figure this one out! Otherwise I would happily recommend this hotel. It is on the far north side of Madison so if you are looking for something closer to the campus or state government this isn't for you, but as a nice, comfortable, moderately-priced hotel on the north side of madison this is the way to go! Excellent room and very comfortable.

I like everything about Cambria Suites. I've stayed at different locations. The pool at this location is ridiculously small. If you have kids that like to swim, keep that in mind.

I found the hotel to be very charming. Contemporary design and a good bar.

Awesome hotel very quiet and clean. Wonderful decoration very hip. Nice suite.

The price was so reasonable for the area, staff was great, an onsite bar & bistro, free newspapers, cable, coffee, mini-frig, shower rainheads & more--plus--the rooms were spacious & beautiful! Hadn't stayed at this chain before, but definitely will try to in other areas of travel--it's the Best of the bunch!

Not a single complaint!! Great hotel, great room, great everything!!!

Nice place, good food, reasonable prices, decent location. What's not to like?

The hotel had character but was old. There was mold in my shower in the caulk and cracks in the walls and ceilings. Staff was friendly and helpful but I wouldn't stay here again - I prefer the new and very clean rooms.

We stayed at the Cambria Suites in Madison, WI and found it to be a really nice hotel. The room was great, service was outstanding, and overall, we were really happy with our experience. We only stayed one night as we were heading to Chicago, but after staying at the Cambria Suites, we were wishing our hotel was as nice in Chicago. This is a hip hotel, for a chain. Rooms are hi-tech with two flat screens and hookups to computers. Neighborhood has nothing "fun" to do, but we stayed there on our way to Wisc Dells. A little more pricey than traditional chain hotels, but it was the only one we could find where pool and jacuzzi were open 24/7. We arrived late, took a hot jacuzzi and […] ordered PIZZA delivered. What an amazing experience! Every single aspect of my stay in this hotel FAR exceeded my expectations. I'm not sure when the facility was built but it's in fantastic condition. The customer service was EXTREME! I may be easily satisfied, however, it takes quite a lot to impress me. Every interaction I had with anyone at the hotel was so pleasant. […] It is VERY clear that they make treating their guests well a priority. I will definitely be a regular at this hotel. For two and a half years I've been looking for "just the right place" in Madison. I can say with confidence, that I have found it! While the location is a bit away from the action, it makes for a grand location to "get away" from the chaos. It's an easy drive to the UW Campus, the Farmer's Market, the Capital, etc. The decor and comfort of the room was such a treat. Very classy and still comfortable and welcoming. Huge space, so much so that I felt a bit disoriented trying to find the bathroom in the dark. So spacious. Love the two flat screen TV's, the bathroom amenities, very comfortable bed & pillows. Lots of great lighting (even on a dimmer) and plenty of convenient plug-ins. We enjoyed room service one night. Great prices and the mac & cheese was so gooey and decadent. This may not be your best choice if you are looking for a water park kind of getaway. The pool is rather small but we enjoyed the hot tub. Perfect temperature and the jets were strong. Lovely hotel with well designed and furnished rooms that have a European flair. The bed was very comfortable and the room amenities were good as well. Lobby Bar was delightful; breakfast buffet not very good. Staff in every department went out of their way to be helpful and pleasant. An excellent experience ... both Madison and this hotel.

The hotel was modern and clean; we enjoyed our stay. The only down side was that our GPS didn't have the hotel and we missed the exit, but we found the place anyway.

Taking weekend getaways with a 1 year old and 3 year old is no easy task, so most the time I avoid it, and only go when I can get a reasonably priced, reasonably kept hotel suite. This hotel was a dream come true! It was clean, modern, comfortable, convenient, AND affordable. The fridge and microwave were so great. I brought snacks and easy microwave […] meals so we didn't have to bring the kids out to eat every 2 hours they were hungry. I would recommend this hotel for basically anyone that wants a nice and simple hotel. Had all the amenities we needed and none of those we'd never use anyway. Mehr

The hotel is very new and very nice. Business group seems to dominate hotel, thus breakfast a little pricey. Overall excellent.

The hotel is clean, modern, affordable. Although located outside of town it is easy to access. If you are going to a hotel to swim, this hotel is not recommended! It has a very small pool; we laughed about it. Our room was missing two pillows + they delivered them promptly - other than an unexperienced person at the desk, there was little to complain […] about. Although you have to pay for breakfast - it was delicious! The rooms also come with microwave + fridge if you want to save $$. Mehr

Our room was clean with a great sitting area with an additional television. The bathroom was wonderful with bath and body products. It was a very contemporary hotel with a nice continental breakfast and coffee bar option as well. I would recommend it and stay again.

This is a fairly new hotel and looks like it. The facility is well maintained and very comfortable. The suites are well laid out and, while designed for business travelers, accomodates a family in excellent fashion. The only minor drawback is that there is no continental breakfast. However, they do have an on-site restaurant, and there are several chain […] restaurants within a few minutes easy drive. This hotel is about 30 minutes drive from Wisconsin Dells - the reasonable price and the amount of comfort makes staying here worth 30 minutes in the car. The surrounding area is peaceful and quiet, or at least it was the weekend we stayed there. I completely recommend this place, and if I ever have to stay in Madison again this is the hotel where I'll stay. It's worth it! Mehr

Outstanding accommmodations, friendly staff.

Perfect suites-only, new and very well staffed and maintained. High quality bath accessories, plush towels. Excellent breakfast buffet and coffee (Wolfgang brands). One (and only one) drawback: the inside pool is slightly larger than a postage stamp; very nice sun deck though. Responsive staff. I am looking forward to coming back. Thank you.

Hotel is close to downtown yet far enough away to have some peace and quiet. The atmosphere is upscale with lovely decor and cushy beds. The regular pool is small, but enough to relax in. Whirlpool and exercise room very nice. Everything was clean and well maintained. Super friendly and helpful staff. Assistant manager was on hand and gave me directions […] to a local attraction. What a beautiful hotel at a great price. Smack dab in the middle of an office park. So if you're looking for fine dining or to go out clubbing, look elsewhere. If you're looking for a great hotel off the highway to rest your weary travelling bones, look no further!

The beds at this hotel are awesome!!!!! The only sort of bad thing was we were hoping for a soak in the spa, but the chemicals in the spa were so strong it had our eyes burning. Everything else was great and the staff was pleasant and helpful.

I don't easily give out fives, but this place was definitely a class act. This is mainly a business hotel, and so is quiet on the weekends. There is a small bar/restaurant off the lobby, where I had a late dinner and breakfast, both of which were very good. This is not the usual free breakfast, but properly cooked scrambled eggs, real bread and muffins, […] and the Wolfgang Puck coffee was so welcome in the morning. I am a coffee snob, so I am not easy to please. Great for techies, too. You can print on the hotel's printer from your room, which I thought was a nice touch. We were five people who ended up here - parents, my wife, sister in law and I. We had a different room initially but they helped us switch to a two king suite. One of the nicest suites I have seen, great value for money and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Only draw-back - the pool is really really tiny. My husband and I stayed at the Cambria Suites on a recent weekend trip to Madison. It's a new hotel, and the decor is very elegant and modern. The rooms and bathrooms are large, comfortable, and clean. The only potential downside is the location. It is in a less-developed part of town, about a 15- to 20-minute drive from the downtown attractions. There […] is really nothing within walking distance. It's a bit far out of the loop for easy access to Madison's downtown (in an area with lots of business hotels), but the hotel itself is in good shape and comfortable. My only complaint was that the staff seemed a little uninformed (perhaps because new) and even a little unhelpful (especially at the food counter). I recently stayed at another Cambria […] Suites in Traverse City, MI, and the staff there was exceptionally kind and helpful, hence my disappointment. Other than that, good. Mehr

Cambria Suites is very clean and the staff is very nice. It is perfect as long as you have a car. It's quiet and you can easily get into downtown in about 10 minutes. One minor issue is that the sun really comes through the shear curtains and you can't close the curtains. But that really is the only thing. This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. It was super clean and the staff was excellent. There were only two issues - there was no continental breakfast and the overpriced breakfast buffet was mediocre and the pool was small and freezing! The hotel was comfortable and clean, in part because it's new. The suites are roomy and comfortable, with a desk and sofa in addition to the bed(s). The combination is like having a room as nice as a hotel with motel conveniences (free Wi-Fi, free coffee, a refrigerator and microwave, free parking). I only have two complaints. Room was very stylish and comfortable with a lot of high-end amenities. Bad marks for no towels in the pool area and poor attitude by desk staff when this was mentioned. No apology -- just "we had a lot of kids here last night." I'm willing to give them another shot.

The hotel is brand new and is very well decorated. It has a very modern/European decor and suite style rooms. I stayed in a king room that had a separate couch and sitting area with its own TV. I was wry satisfied with my stay.
