Overall experience at Aloft - Airport was great. The rooms are modern, yet very comfortable. The bed was definitely comfortable. It's a tad bit firm, but you get used to it very quickly. The TVs are mounted on the wall wihch allows for more space in the room itself. The showers were excelent, providing body wash and shampoo for guests. Nice and friendly staff. Clean. Room on ground floor overlooking patio/ pool area. Loud until wee hours.. Plus traffic was loud. Sounded like cars racing next to us. Wouldn't recommend if u have kids.

Service folks need some better training, and a bath tub would be nice, but location, price and room were all lovely.

I think for what i paid it was expensive compared to other hotels in the area. Breakfast is not included like in most of the other hotels, in fact, they don't have a restaurant, just a few things on a ready to go area. The room was OK, the lobby (bar, front desk and pool table) was amazing. Close to Northstar mall, target and airport.

This hotel is amazing!!!!! Very affordable, great amenities and you can access so much from just your room from movies to food the aloft is the best

Hotel is beautiful, clean, friendly, courteous. They provided a handicap room for which was much appreciated. Two young gentlemen were extremely helpful when my husband lost his balance and I couldn't lift him. We were getting ready to head to the airport. The room was spotless ,roomy with a very comfortable bed. The bars in the shower and by the toilet […] were very conveniently placed. Overall, I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and prompt with service and the atmosphere/overall look of the hotel was really cool and modern. I would definitely recommend it as a great place to stay. If you are going with someone else who is not a significant other, I would not stay in the King Bed suites as the bathroom […] door seems to open at its own accord and the back of the shower wall is translucent. Clean hotel, pretty loud. Offers breakfast for a fee, but small space dedicated to eat...right in the middle of the lobby. Trying too hard to be a chic W, but falls short. There are better options at comparable prices.

Hotel was okay. Didn't care for the dorm and contemporary style. Hotel was clean. Seems more appropriate for those who are looking to party since there's a bar and club as soon as you walk in.

this is my second time there, and both times I felt the staff was extremely rude and not helpful. I gave it a second chance just in case I was wrong the first time. Both times, staff was rude, unaccomodating, and just plain unattentive. They are not friendly, and seem to enjoy making any complaint one may have as a problem they cannot fix. I was placed in a room on the second floor for my first night....across the street from a bar. Because of the individual air conditioners which allow all noise in ones room, I could not sleep due to the party at the bar which went on until 3 AM. I complained and was moved the next day to a room on the 4th floor overlooking the pool. The party at the […] pool went on until 12:30. At 4AM, the party moved into my hallway. With the mold on the shower walls, the noise, the light penetration through their cheap window covers, the stay was a nightmare! I wouldn't stay there again if they offered me a free stay. OH, and when I checked in...the receptionist was busy on a personal phone call. I waited till she finally said to her friend, "I'll call you later". The next morning, that receptionist was also on a private call. What's with that???? Mehr

Well I have to be honest I really liked the style of the room I had and it was comfortable. However the first night I was there there was a problem with the A/C or something right outside of my room and it made a horrible noise from late that afternoon until the next morning at 9am. Very annoying and couldn't get a goods nights rest because of it. Also […] there were ants coming in through the window and crawling all over my laptop and other things, ew. When I went to hang up my towel the towel rack came right off of the wall and it's pretty good size. The bed was pretty comfy maybe a tad too firm though. I liked having a fridge though. Oh and there weren't any closets just a shelf in the bathroom with a curtain in front of it. Had to stash my suitcases on the far wall behind the other bed. The patio area outside was nice and I was overlooking the pool. Lots of cool places to hang out in the main lobby as well. I really liked the light up counter at the bar. I'm not sure if it's the managers who can wear their street clothes to work as I noticed all of the other employees wore blue shirts and khaki pants. Upon my arrival the person "who greeted me" was one in street clothes and there just wasn't a friendliness kind of that cold smile thing going on. I really notice stuff like that and being in Texas I expect more of a hospitable attitude. Another street clothes employee was getting on the elevator as I was getting off said hello but once again no smile, cold tone and didn't even look me in the eye when they said it. What's the point then? I've been in customer service for years and that's just not how you act. I would stay again because like I said before the style of the room suited me and the other employees were pleasant. The location was great for me as well. I would suggest that they put in speed bumps in the parking lot because people drive through there like maniacs. This hotel is in a great shopping area very close to the airport. Everyone was very helpful. We are used to staying at resorts and thus miss the kitchenet we typically get, but for 3 days it was way more than worth it. Will definitely stay there again on our short stays. Very reasonably priced too.

I loved all of the interior decorating of the hotel. The glass shower was nice...we had fun playing with the glass :) We slept comfortable the AC was cool and the blackout shades helped us sleep in well. The only con I have, and it's a small one, is the main light over the mirror portion of the bathroom wasn't working. I asked the receptionist about […] it and she told me it was hotel wide because the fixtures were on recall. I understood and didn't have too much of a problem with it. Overall it was a great choice for our anniversary stay-cation. We wanted to get away for the weekend to get out of the house. This hotel was not what we expected... The bed was comfy but the room way too small for the price we paid. There was no place to lay your luggage bags but a sofa which is sitting right underneath the TV which hangs on the wall. If you want to watch tv you have to either lay in bed or on the floor there is only 1 chair in the room. The lobby was clean […] but the elevators had a "Funky smell" We wanted to watch a movie but decided not to when we saw you had to dish out $16.99 for it. The outside pool is way too small to really enjoy. Overall the room is way over priced for what you actually get in return. Mehr

The first room I got was a bit humid so I had to switch to another. The second room was perfect! The hotel was extremely clean and interestingly modern! I loved it...gave me ideas for my own home ;0) I would recommend this to anyone and will definitely stay there again!

The hotel is well located and a very modern look and feel. The service was good, although check-in took some time as they only had one person at the front desk. The lobby looks more like a modern bar/restaurant when considering the pool table, lounge tables and sofas that decorate it. The rooms are very modern as well. The bathroom has a sliding door […] that separates the vanity from the shower/toilet. I thought it was fine unless you have someone who is really shy about taking a shower and the risk that someone will slide the door open while in the bathroom. We only stayed one night, but the hotel was very interestingly decorated using lots of chrome and glass. It was nice to have a big screen TV with HD service. The room was very comfortable and the service was great.

We loved the look of the hotel...very "hip" and fun...but hated the thin walls and doors. There was a bench in the hallway right outside our room and some guest decided to have a conversation on her cell phone at 6 AM. We heard every word. In addition, we heard the entire conversation of the guests next door through the adjoining doors at 2 AM. Not […] a great plan if you want a good night's rest. We won't stay here again. Mehr

We went to SA to join in the festivities of the last weekend of FIESTA, Aloft was my first choice in hotels. The only complaint i had was the bar closed early on Saturday :( so our party got cut short...

This hotel looks amazing in pictures! I normally set my expectations to high when it comes to Internet browsing and real life. And this time I set my expectations anticipating to be rudely awakened when my room was not what I expected. Boy was I wrong. This hotel is everything and more then what you see in the pictures! The bed was comfortable, the […] tv was huge, the rain fall shower head was so enjoyable, I could go on and on. I could not believe we stayed at this nice of a hotel for the price we paid. THE HOTEL WAS NICE N CLEAN. THE LOCATION WAS GOOD WITH MANY STORES IN WALKING DISTANCE. THERE WASN'T MUCH PARKING OUT FRONT.....WILL DEF STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN

A bit on the hipster side - to be expected. Nice bar in lobby. No tub but great shower. Bliss products in bath. Mini fridge. Close to shopping (target and cost plus). Can walk to several restaurante. DOUGH being my favorite restaurane in San Antonio is just across the busy street. I would stay again. Nearby to airport with printers available to print […] your boarding pass. Mehr
