Zimmer: Hampton Select Großes Zimmer, mit sehr großem Fernseher und Kamin, tolles Bad, groß. Gutes und günstiges Frühstück. Nettes Personal. Würden das Hotel wiederbesuchen.

Das Hotel zeichnet sich durch seine modernen und sauberen Zimmer mit einer sehr gehoben Ausstattung aus. Auch die Lage ist an für sich super, da man mit dem Bus der direkt vor dem Hotel hält in 5 Minuten bei St Stephens Green / Grafton Street ist.

The room was very modern and had a some extra's, like a ironing board and an iron, 3 phone, a huge tv, a "fireplace", dvd player. The bathroom was large a clean. The staff was really helpfull and friendly. The only disadvantage of this hotel is the distance to the centre. It takes 20 minutes to walk. But a bus stops in front of the hotel, each 10 minutes. Stayed for four nights in mid march. Pleasant, helpful and polite staff. The hotel is situated about 10-15 minutes by bus from the city centre in a quiet area. Very frequent bus departures. The room was very nice with a big flat screen and a plasma fire place. After sightseeing the first day, we were disappointed that the room wasn't cleaned when […] we got badk at 4 pm. In shelves it was a bit dusty, so it would'nt hurt with a little extra quality in the housekeeping. In the bath room, wich also was very nice, there was a bath tub. Only draw back was that the toilet paper was hung up a bit far from the toilet. The hotels bistro was a pleasant experience. Big portions and tasty meals. We ate dinner there twice plus breakfast every morning. A small comment on the breakfast though is that in the menu it says freshly squeezed orange juice, but it actually comes from a box. Brilliant service from walking in the door - friendly staff and management. Room was very big, very comfortable with massive TV and fireplace. Breakfast - delicious! Can`t wait to go back!

Fab rooms, corridors not so great-made the place a bit sleezy looking. Stayed on a Saturday night, we got back to the hotel around half 2 in the morning. Our room faced the front of the hotel and the NOISE from the people in the bar and smoking area downstairs was unreal. I would be able to sleep anywhere, but after 4 I was still awake. Nice, clean room. Good sized room. Friendly and helpful front desk staff. Cleaning crew is quite zealous in their job (they will knock on your door and ask you if you want your room serviced.) This could be annoying if you don't like that but it's a good sign that they are on the job. Excellent Donnybrook location. Easy access to/from Dublin airport […] using the AirCoach service [which itself is very good.) Bus stop is right outside. St. Stephen's Green is a nice walk away (not close, but definitely walk-able for those who like to walk.) The only slight negative was that the music from the bar/lounge (and they have different musical acts there almost every evening) would be heard in my room. But the music ends at 10 p.m. so if you need to get to sleep earlier than that it could be a problem for you. I would definitely stay there again. Mehr

This hotel was great value for the rate. We had wonderful service. It was ideal for anyone who doesn´t mind walking about 20 minutes to downtown. IF you don´t feel like walking the bus service is great both to downtown and the airport. There is a lovely shopping district for food and pharmacy and restaurants just around the corner. The only caveat is […] if you are staying over Saturday night ask for a room that doesn´t face the street because the bar ¨Vanilla´´ has a great party all night long. Mehr

Convenient location short bus trip from town center on bus line that runs every 10 minutes and also on bus line from airport. In excellent area.

Everything was ok apart from the hotel's staff. The waiters/waitresses were very rude and not so helpful. But in overall its an extremely nice hotel, close to the city centre and with all the facilities someone asks for.

Just got back from a week-long stay at the Hampton and would definitely recommend staying there. Our room was incredibly spacious and very beautiful. The bed was a little too hard for my taste but my husband liked it. There was a little dust the first night but by the time it was cleaned for the second night it was resolved without our mentioning it. […] Ladies, there's a vanity in the room with a hairdryer so you don't have to worry about bringing one and there's another one in the bathroom as well. The decor is quirky but elegant and the service is outstanding. The bartenders were very friendly and really funny and Margaret, the front office receptionist, truly went out of her way to ensure that all our needs were met and gave great recommendations for sights and restaurants around the area. It's about 15-20 minute walk to the city but since the weather was good we really enjoyed walking into town even though there's a bus stop right outside the hotel (also convenient as the Air Bus also stops across the street). When we do return to Dublin, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Mehr

i think me and my girlfriend paid a very competative price a night and we got the hampton preffered room, which was incredilably good value for money! Would recommend it to anyone staying in dublin, its not right in the centre but there are buses runninig to and from the city every 5-10 mins and it takes about 10 mins to get to temple bar. it is still […] a walkable distance but i would advice getting a bus as it is very cheap to do so! An excellent hotel offering very large comfortable rooms. Desk staff very good. The only problem we had related to the hotel restaurant, we eat there on the first evening and the food was very poor in quality and incorrect items being delivered. To be fair we were not charged for food that was incorrect, but decided not to eat in the hotel for the duration […] of our stay. We would recommend the hotel for the quality of the rooms. Mehr

This is our third visit to the Hampton. The service provided by the hotel is faultless and the food is high quality and good value for money. The rooms are big and extremely comfortable and the only downside to the hotel is the noise from the club below on a Friday and Saturday evening. Overall extremely good value for money. The staff was extremely helpful. Airport shuttle stops in front. Bus 46a goes in front and up to O'Connell street and St. Stephen's. Stairs here and there were inconvenient, Small food shop, pharmacy, pub within 5 minute walk. Very roomy-tea, blow dryer, iron, shampoo(etc), Large size shower/tub. Unusual for European standards.

The hotel was an easy 10-minute walk from St. Stephen's green, room was large and very comfortable, with very modern bathroom. We found this to be an exceptional hotel for the price.

Stayed here for 3 nights prior to a business conference, then moved to the Hilton Kilmainham. I wish I would have stayed at the Hampton the whole time as it was a better neighborhood and better hotel. Wireless coverage was good, the staff was helpful. The music Fri/Sat was a really talented duo that played both Irish and modern rock music. The surrounding […] neighborhood is quiet, but does have a couple of coffee shops, pubs, a grocery within a 5-min walk. It is about a 15-min walk to central Dublin. There is a shuttle service to the airport with a stop right in front of the hotel which is 7 Euro each way. The bus into Dublin also stops there. On the downside, the bar/restaurant is a bit overpriced. There were some minor glitches in the service such as getting ice to the room (40 minutes, 2 phone calls). Mehr

The hotel is a nice boutique one, but are missing amenities such as a gym. The bar serves a terrible Guinness, by the way. Overall the hotel is solid, and I found it close enough to walk to Stephens Green/Trinity/Temple bar (a good 45 minute walk, but with some nice shops and pubs along the way) and it is close to Ranelagh, but the main reason I will […] never stay here again is because of the NIGHTCLUB in the hotel that spills out onto the patio area, which is directly underneath most of the rooms. Forget about being able to sleep between 2am and 4am as the drunken lads do their futball cheers and the lasses scream and laugh at each other at full volume. Even with earplugs, it's too much noise. this is a beautiful hotel- we stayed in the basic room which is lovely but for extra space (and lots of it) book the next room up from this. We asked to see the other room and really wished we had booked it. Food in restaurant nice- breakfast service far too slow so we left as had plans for the day. Luxurious rooms- staff only too happy to help, can hear nightclub music from rooms at night- but this didnt bother us as we were there to attend a concert in 02 that weekend anyway. The hotel is about 7-10 minute bus ride from city center. Bus stops just outside hotel, very convenient. Convenient to local breakfast / lunch cafe and laundry. Staff is very friendly and helpful. we attended a concert in the aviva stadium. This hotel is located approx 1 mile from the aviva. Hotel has good staff and nice food, bedroom was nice only problem we had was that the size of the bed.

After a week in Ireland we were ready for a little rest and the Hampton Hotel provided it. There were super friendly on check-in. There was free parking right out front of the hotel, which is saying a lot for Dublin. The receptionist was exremely helpful in giving us directions to get to the airport in the morning. The room was spacious and very clean. […] Also the fireplace was a nice touch and made it super cozy and relaxing. The restaraunt's food was yummy and the staff really nice. The only downside is that it's a little bit of a walk from the action of Dublin, which ended up not being a problem for us because we were up for a night of relaxing. Mehr

We drove up to this hotel and were immediately impressed. Very posh entrance and lobby but boutique at the same time. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Loved this hotel!!!!!! I was absolutely floored by how helpful the girls at the front desk were. Both my friend and myself commented on how we wished all the other hotels had been so prepared and as over the top helpful as they were. Above and beyond seriously. Room was super cool, you could plug in your ipod if you had a cord and it played in bathroom, […] there was a fake fireplace and huge flatscreen all controlled by a super cool remote. Everyone at the hotel was extremely helpful and nice. The manager went above and beyond to help us with our stay. We were at the time trying to find a place to live in Dublin and everyone at the hotel was so supportive. They even helped us when our car battery died. Loved this hotel, a little out of the way from the city center , but that didnt matter on a lovely sunny day, plenty of buses into the town center to catch outside the hotel. This hotel is a little gem and a best kept secret. hyggeligt hotel med super venligt personale. Beliggenheden var Hellerup til København og med gode bus forbindelser (hvis man da ikke lige gad at gå de 15 min. til centrum). Lufthavnsbussen standser uden for hotellet. Skal der siges noget negative , og det var svært, er det at vinduerne ikke kan åbnes.

Intéressant, très propre........le meilleur service de courtoisie à l'entrée de tout notre voyage. Très recommandable.

Hotellet ligger drøye 20 minutter å gå fra sentrum, langs en trafikkert vei. Bussen stopper rett utenfor hotellet, så det er greit å komme seg til og fra sentrum. Hotellet er veldig stilig og rolig, med utpregede designelementer hele veien. Veldig hyggelig betjening, bra frokost og fin bar. Rommet var rent og pent, med stort TV og elektrisk peis. […] Vi hadde et stort bad, flislagt og stilig. Men vamekablene virket ikke, noe som gjorde badet iskaldt. Dette ble påpekt i resepsjonen, men det tok to dager før de klarte å sette inn en elektrisk varmeovn og legge noen matter på gulvet. Ventilasjonen bråket en del, og til tider var det matlukt fra ventilasjonen. Vårt rom var av god størrelse, med en god dobbeltseng, som nok kan være noe kort for lange mennesker. Ved utsjekk unnlot resepsjonisten å ta betalt for frokosten pga vårt trøbbel med baderomsgulvet. Alt i alt et flott hotell, men det egner seg nok best i den varme årstiden når man ikke er avhengig av varmt bad og kan spasere til sentrum. Mehr
