My Hotel In France Le Marais - Paris

We think this boutique hotel is great. The location is safe and close to the subway. The front desk is very friendly and the room is clean and comfortable. I think it's a great value. If somebody complains about the size of the room, they obviously have never been to a real Parisian's home before. For what you pay the room is indeed very decent for […] Parisian standard. Top location, but renovation was no more than a new color, definitely no ***. Not even **. Bathroom was 1,20 x 1,20m, smallest showertub I ever saw in my life (and I'm an architect) with PVC sliding door to make walking in possible. Pay 10 euro's more to book à real hotel.

The quality of the hotel regarding the price is very good. The room is comfortable and the bed too! I was satisfied ... In addition to breakfast, they offer a express-lunch, very good for people that are traveling. I recommend

Paris is an expensive city. The hotel located in a nice environment. there is a store just by the side of the hotel where you can buy food, drinks, and other supplies. the subway is in walking distance. The breakfast is okay. Lunch box is also included in the hotel package and that is very nice. a sandwich, a pack of cut apple, and a bottle of water […] could save you time and EURO during your sight seeing trip. Friendly staff who were happy to greet you with a welcome drink and inform us of transport/Metro access and nearby attractions . Double room on 6th Floor was quite small and with very small bathroom. Breakfast very nice and the sandwiches you could take away were a great idea to snack on at lunch time. I had the misfortune of staying here since the rest of the meeting team were staying here. This has to be one of the worst hotels i've ever stayed in. Yes its cheap. But I did expect something bigger than a broom-cupboard. My room was roughly 3x3m, with a1.5x2m bathroom. The windows were so thin they made no difference at all to the noise, and there […] was a lot of street noise. My bed was smaller than a single, and sloped to one side so if i moved I fell out. It was also very lumpy. It was very warm while I was there, and the hotel kindly provided a fan for the room. However, in a cruel twist of irony, the flex was short enough to ensure it could not be used in any of rooms 2 sockets. A tiny desk was too narrow to set up my laptop, but the wireless LAN did work ok. I had to make a call to the UK (3 mins) which cost 12 euros or so, and to be fair, the desk guy did say it was very expensive. The whole place was a bit scruffy and needs a real overhaul. Breakfast consisted of orange juice and a sweet pastry. Its not really convenient for anywhere business (generally) and is quite distant from the usual tourist locales. It's miles away from the train station, and the cafes close by eschew the usual Parisian flair for good food in all locations and served up what can only be described as swill when I was there (not the hotels fault but worth knowing). I was going to Paris with my friend on a budget weekend trip. We wanted an efficient, convenient place to stay. This hotel fit the bill. The front desk was incredibly nice and informative, and they spoke good English. They were willing to provide us with maps, free internet passkeys, and were quick to orient us with the hotel. They have a free breakfast […] which is nothing spectacular (machine coffee and plastic wrapped croissants) but came in very handy the day we were leaving and had to catch an early flight. They even prepared it for us early. The location is great--it's not exactly a hopping part of the Marais but it's super convenient to everywhere in Paris. Both the 8 and the 5 trains are mere steps from the door, with other lines nearby and many things in walking distance. The room itself was very small, even by European standards, and not air conditioned, but I didn't mind. I should note that aside from two nightstands and a desk, there didn't seem to be anywhere to put my clothes. The bed was supposed to sleep two but I don't see how this was possible. It was the smallest 'double' bed I'd ever seen, smaller than your standard full size mattress by at least 6 inches, maybe a foot. I guess this would be ok if you're part of a couple and a close sleeper, or going by yourself. If you can tolerate that, I would say this hotel is definitely worth a stay because it's so cheap and convenient. Similarly priced hotels were all the way out in the 19th or 20th arrondisements, and this really was a lovely place for the money with the exception of the bed. Starting with the good: free internet from the lobby computer - I need to check my email a few times a day so it was convenient and money-saving. Also, free coffee in the morning (although from the vending machine) and packaged luch which was good for the bottle of water it came with. I threw sandwich away as it was premaid "airport convenience store" […] kind of thing. They kept my luggage as I arrived before check-in time, and also the next day after check-out. Service was rather friendly, can't compalin. A little tea kettle in the room was nice. Location was good, close to metro, 10 minute walk to Place de Vosges or Pompidou Center. Nice shops in the area. Now for the bad - my room was not clean enough, mildew in the shower, shower leaking, shower door is very dirty was grossed out to touch it, broken mirror in the room, tiny room which is ok but the bed positioned in such way you cant move. I am ok with noise but not like this - I could hear people in the next room as I were in same room wih them. I was going to bed hoping the wont do anything funny because that would be a nightmare. I had to sleep with TV on and still could hear everything. Not comfortable, couldn't wait to get out of there. One can definitely find a better hotel for this price. I would not recommend this place to a friend. Mehr

Hotellet ligger i et dejligt område i gåafstand fra mange ting. Venligt personale men meget små værelser med meget lille brusekabine.

Petit hôtel , petite chambre, petite salle de bain, petit ascenseur, petit couloir, petite salle pour le petit déjeuner, ok c'était un petit tarif aussi. Manque de confort. Hôtel bruyant , trop de proximité avec les voisins des chambres d'à côté, portes qui claquent, clients qui parlent forts ... Bref pas de tout repos. Tres decue, le photographe qui a fait les photos pr le site est lui par contre très très bon! Bcp de bruits, nous avons dormi avec les voisins au dessus et ds la chambre à côté, travaux ds l'hôtel non signale à l'accueil , personnel à l'accueil ne sachant pas lire notre nom, chambre poussiéreuse, lumière chevet non fonctionnelle... Bref nous n'y retournerons […] pas et ne le conseillerons pas. Mehr

excellente situation au coeur du Marais,métro à 2minuteset une promenade d'un quart d'heure nous emmène Rue de Rivoli par la Rue vielle duTemple.hotel très bien tenu,personnel sympathique et disponible.Petit bémol concernant la surface de la chambre,mais compte tenu du prix,on ne peut etre que satisfait.

El hotel me resultó un poco caro para lo que era, es el único hotel en el que he estado en París y no puedo compararlo con otros pero me parecio un poco caro. La habitación era pequeña y el cuarto de baño también, hacía un poco de calor aún siendo Noviembre. Hay que decir que la habitación estaba limpia y la limpiaban cada día, estaba muy bien insonorizada […] y tenía televisión. El desayuno no está mal y por las mañanas te dan unos sandwiches, una botella de agua y una manzana. A nosotros nos venía genial porque comíamos básicamente eso. La zona está bastante bien, tiene bastantes sitios para cenar cerca y hay mucha gente joven,aunque un poco lejos del centro para ir andando. Mehr

Petit hôtel qui mériterait une bonne rénovation mais très bien situé. Ne cherchez pas une place en surface, allez directement dans un parking sous-terrain. Vous gagnerez du temps ! Bon pour une nuit, mais pas plus.

Excellent rapport qualité prix pour cet hôtel simple mais confortable idéalement situé au coeur du Marais à proximité de la Place des Vosges. Quartier très calme la nuit.A recommander.

L'hotel si trova in ottima posizione (ci sono 2 fermate della metro nei pressi dell'hotel) in un quartiere bellissimo. Servizio buono ma camere dell'hotel molto piccole e bagno microscopico. L'hotel è in una posizione tranquilla ma stanze poco insonorizzate. Al nostro arrivo ci è stata data una camera senza la porta del bagno. Abbiamo fatto notare la […] cosa alla reception che ci ha dato subito un'altra stanza. Pulizia delle camere soddisfaciente. Colazione non abbondante ma buona. C'è comunque una panetteria a fianco dell'albergo per chi ha anora fame...Pranzo al sacco composto da: un sandwich confezionato a testa, mezzo litro d'acqua e mela (meglio che niente!) Mehr

Jeg har boet på hotellet i 5 dage i maj 2011. Hotellet er et lille hyggelig hotel med tæt beliggenhed til metro - ca. 3 min. gang. Værelset med dertilhørende toilet var fint. God service - rengøring, opredning af seng samt nye håndklæder hver dag. Morgenmaden består af en continental breakfast: flute, croissant, smør, syltetøj, to små kager, juice og […] kaffe. Forkosten der er inkluderet i prisen, består af en lunchbox, som ikke spises i "restauranten" på hotellet, men som kan medbringes. Denne bestod af en sandwich (toastbrød med pålæg), en flaske vand og en lille pose udskårne æbler. Generelt et okay hotel Mehr

The hotel is conveniently located and the staff are very helpful and cordial. But we paid for a double bed on the Internet but we were given a bed impossible to fit in two normal size adults. I am sure it was a room for one person around 1.20cm maximum.
