I have stayed in most all of anchorage hotels and this one is top class. 5 minutes from airport on same airport road. Great lobby, location, on location resturant and bar, large comfortable clean rooms. A GREAT stay.

I had a great stay. Hotel is basic but it is clean and modern. What really was impressive was the the level of seevice. Staff were very friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help to make my stay enjoyable.

Central location but near any real highlights. Nice rooms, workout room, pool and lounge. Nice that they have 24 hr shuttle to the airport also.

Great. Only thing I would suggest is the enlarge their gift shop area. Very small not a lot of necessity type items. With the amount of visitors that come through they would get plenty of traffic. No items like hairspray, asprin, etc that a typical traveler might need. Other then that it was great!

Hotel is aging and a bit sub-standard by Crowne Plaza standards. Lobby and hallways are dated as are furnishings.

We had a room on the 4th floor with two queen size beds. The room is comfortable and clean. Bathroom is roomy and clean. We like having the free WiFi. The kids love the LCD TV with HD channels. Breakfast is good with good choices. There are nearby restaurants. We walked over to T.G.I.F and next to it is a Starbucks. They have complimentary shuttle to […] and from the hotel. The whole place looks pretty new. There are many other hotels nearby. When we purchased the hotel, there was an option to pay extra for the breakfast. We selected that option but the hotel said it did not include breakfast. The lady at the front desk was nice enough and gave us the breakfast option. Mehr

Chlorine content of the hot tub was extreme. The room service food that I ordered was not taken out when they cleaned the room. Hotel was room was clean and comfortable. My overall experience was pleasing and the breakfast from Juno (hotel's restaurant) was amazing.

Staff was wonderful. The hotel is the typical hotel. It is clean, comfortable and thinks of small details which is wonderful.Such as a nail file and Q-tips. However what I think separates this hotel from others is the staff. They made an average stay very pleasant.

Our recent stay was very pleasant. We had 3 adults and 7 teens in our group and were in town for a youth conference. The hotel was quiet and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. We all enjoyed the pool and hot tub. It was very nice in the evenings to be able to relax in the hot tub while the students played […] in the pool. It would be nice to see additions to the pool area to absorb sound. The area can get very noisy with only a few people in the pool, who are not yelling, with the sound echoing off of the walls. Add a few small children to the mix and you can't even hear the person next to you at poolside. Unfortunately this is common at most hotels. Overall, though, a great experience and I would definitely stay there again and I would recommend it to my friends. Mehr

we were at 2nd floor and our stay was pleasant, quite and clean room, beds and lots of pillows are comfortable... except bathroom has no exhaust fan that make the room moist and might create molds around and if someone goes number 2 it will stink up the room, the pool was nice but the hot tub has too much chlorine that leave strong bad odor on our skin. […] overall the hotel is a good quality. will be our first choice to stay in next time. This is a newer hotel with good location, unfortunately they went "cheap" on the construction and the room to room noise is very bad both adjacent rooms side to side but the rooms above. I could talk with and answer questions from people staying adjoining rooms and could count every foot step from the room above. The floor/ceiling sounded like it was […] coming down anytime the people above me walked across the room. For the price of the hotel one would expect better sound reduction between the rooms. Otherwise the room was well appointed and the bed comfortable. Just had to wear ear plugs to tune out the noise (and I was in a far end room). Mehr

Guests above us had twin boys who run around the room sounded like they were playing football in the room above us. This went on from 3:30pm until 11:30 pm and started back up at 8:30am until we checked out. We called the front desk 4 times and called the people above us to no avail. I wanted the Hotel Manager to come up to our room and listen, however, […] He was off and the Manager on duty left a detailed note that he would look over and contact me today. The hotel itself is very nice and well appointed. I was disappointed with the restaurant Juno, located in the hotel. This is considered an upscale hotel, but the restaurant was too well lit and the food medicore.

Wonderful! nice 2+ person shower, but if you require a bathtub, ask, before you book. mine did not have one but that was fine!

Stayed 2 nights in this hotel and that was enough. When I arrived, they had my hotel reservation screwed up and the front desk staff did not want to bother with the situation untill the hotel manager showed up. The walls were very thin since I heard my neighbors talking and partying untill 5:00am. It almost sounded like they were in the room with me. […] Took a shower when I got in the room and the water was luke warm at best. The rest of the hotel was nice but for the price I could have gotten a better room elsewhere. I will not stay in this hotel again and will not recommend it to anyone. Mehr

Fairly new so it's clean and not well used. The restaurant is nice, the food was good, average priced. We did not receive Alaska resident rates. The beds were smaller than the last time staying there. Wouldn't let us charge our dinner to the room but wanted payment up front on credit card rather than at check out the next day (which was my payday when the money got put on my card at midnight) We therefore went to bed hungry which wouldn't have happened […] at another hotel that we stay at. This hotel is too far from the downtown area. Cab costs $13.00 each way. Close to airport with free shuttle provided. Service was very friendly. Room was pretty and comfortable. Food in the Juno restaurant was sub par. The pizza consisted of pre-made, frozen crust, and the halibut slider was a frozen fish stick in a bun. Cameron, the bartender, was […] great. This was a great hotel. I travel alot for business and this place was excellent in many ways. Free internet, clean rooms and facilities, on-premise restaurant, VERY comfortable beds with tons of high quality pillows. (I cannot stand those cheap flat pillows that compress from overuse.) I am not a hotel pool user but they did have a nice indoor pool […] also. Staff was considerate and friendly and lobby area has uniquely comfortable (home-type) loung area to relax or work. I would stay here again and hope I have the opportunity to visit Alaska again too... !! Mehr

Not very convenient location but otherwise a comfortable and nice hotel. Very close to airport but quiet. Airport shuttle service is excellent. Staffs are friendly and helpful.

Problem free. Nice hotel. Clean rooms and friendly staff. Expensive for extended stay but perfect for a couple of nights. A little away from the downtown but we only wanted to sleep and relax that night so that was not important to us.

This hotel provided a convenient location, very comfortable and high quality accomidations and courteous service. The fact that there was a restaurant onsite that served breakfast, lunch, and dinner was a plus. The location is convenient to all areas with plenty of free parking. The hotel itself was a vacation due to the quality.

biggest issue I had was i asked for a king bed and got twins when I arrived. They did change the room after the first night. As I had litterally flown across the country, I was too exhausted to argue. The jaccuzzi was nice but they should have the temperature of the pool a few degrees cooler than it was. Had to walk a long ways to room. Not convienent when packing a lot of shopping bags. Had a very noisy neighbor upstairs, thin walls/floors. Pay per view did not work and channels were very limited. No dvd player in room either. Stay was alright, but could have been better for a 4 star hotel.

I've stayed at the Crowne Plaza twice and I've enjoyed it both times, however, there is one small issue and that is there are no curtains in the room to block out the light. There are flimsy white almost see through curtains but nothing over that and with the street lights glaring in at night it was a bit annoying.

This was an excellent stay. I go to Anchorage frequently and hadn't ever thought to stay at the Crowne Plaza. I got the price through Expedia and was very pleased with everything. Friendly at the counter, beautiful rooms, nice jacuzzi and pool and room service with great food. I would definitely go there again.

Hotel was very clean and staff always willing to accomidate our request, our room was facing the main road but never heard traffic. It was great having a resturant on the premises and the food was very good. Our new hotel of choice for Anchorage.
