Schönes und geflegtes Zimmer, mit Kuhlschrank, Mikrowelle , etc . Das Frühstück ist sogar üppig für Amerika. Echt zu empfehlen.

horrible. first, it does look recently renovated and clean. however, take a closer look (and smell) and you will be very dissatisfied. THE SHEETS SMELLED SO BAD and did not feel clean at all. the room was musty that we could not sleep until we left a window open, but since the neighborhood was so sketch we closed it after a while. here's the worst: […] HOUSEKEEPING KNOCKED AND OPENED OUR DOOR AT 8AM!!!!! even though we had our DO NOT DISTURB sign on the door, they still knocked and opened our door!! i complained to the front desk about this and they said this is their common practice and won't change. lastly, our toilet didn't work and they said they would have someone come in to fix it but THEY NEVER SHOWED UP. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! DON'T LET THE PICS FOOL YOU!!! Mehr

The location was perfect for the PE exam. I saw a few people even cart their books over. I had great water pressure, but the comforter cover did have some bleach stains. I told the manager. He promised they were clean but gave me an extra cover to ease my worries. Overall the room was really nice. I would stay again.

After reading reviews and seeing pictures, I thought I was going to get a pretty decent hotel at a fair price but pictures can be so deceiving. Upon entering my room the comforter had several circular stains. Of what, I'm not 100% sure but I knew right away that I did not want to lie down on it. I didn't feel welcomed, room had moldy smell, It was ok to spend a night there.

Staff was friendly and efficient. My wife and I shared the clean room with our infant who slept between us comfortably in our bed. Good cable TV selection. Our only suggestion would be that the complimentary breakfast needs improvement. More variety in breakfast items and a better coffee is suggested. We have stayed in many locations and this room had a poor shower???? Sounds funny.....but I like my showers to be firm. Location coming from the North is a little testy when you don't know where you are going at night, but worked out find with a U-turn. Enjoyed their Waffles.

The beds are to hard and the hotel is to noisy.

dirty parking lot, trash everywhere. loose doors, loud heater and a very slow and low shower due to no water pressure. this was a last minute stay and next time, a marriott.

This place is a dump. My room was old and run down. The hotel desk clerk was very indifferent and didn't seem very friendly. I would stay away from this hotel.

Hotel was newly remodeled although some short cuts were taken. This is a great bargain if you are on a budget. I booked this last minute and had no problems. I would stay here again if I needed to. Actually was really happy when I got the bill!

Very nice hotel, clean and modern. Not excessive amount of rooms. Just perfect. Only complain is no bathtub which doesn't really matter but shower pressure really low.. besides that very pleasant. I would stay there again. Close enough to san jose or san francisco...

It's seems to be re-done so the room looked nice. Pillows are very flat so I didn't like that. Also, only negative comment is the water pressure in the shower. It was very bad and it was hard to wash my hair with barely any pressure. Wish they could fix this! Location is okay.

I definitely have to admit that i was skeptical since the price was so low for the region but the hotel was very clean, mostly new items, bed was comfortable and room was set up nicely. For a nice change from the norm big box hotel, this was a good place to stay.

Very poor water pressure in showers. Coffee makers in every room is a common amenity in many hotels/motels. Other than that, I would stay there again for sure.

Nice place to go for a weekend. If you wish to dine or enjoy the San Mateo and Burlingame nite life. For the money you can't beat it. . The colors and decor is one of the best in the area. The rooms feel warm not cold like much of the Hotels and Motels in this price range.

The pictures of the Stone Villa on Hotels.com website lead you to believe that this is a modern clean motel when in fact it is an old run down poorly maintained dirty motel. It's former name was the Fireside Lodge and was full of transients and prostitutes.I booked this motel for a customer and was embarrassed at what we walked into.

When we checked in and went to our room, my husband and I started noticing a few details out of order that led us to believe someone else had been in the room. There was trash in the waste basket, an open bar or soap in the shower and the towels were not folded in a particularly nice fashion. There were clearly spots on the towels and even a hair on […] one. When we told the man at the front desk, he said the room was clean and that he didn't have other towels and wouldn't until the morning. Had it not been 2am on the eve of an early morning business meeting and were we not exhausted after a five hour, we would had gone elsewhere. Needless to say, we were very unsatisfied with our stay. It's been awhile that I've stayed at a motel, I read the reviews and decided it was safe, good location near office. I brought my own beauty essentials from home, shampoo/conditioner, lotion/spray, otherwise there is only a teeny bar of Jergen's facial soap. Also, I brought my own high thread count bed sheet that I'm accustomed and pillowcase. This […] made all the difference, the room was clean, it only had a shower but I survived the week, it had a nice chair and was roomy. I learned that it is all the amenities that you pay double, so just bring them from home, with some planning you can avoid the itchiness of low quality sheets and save your corporate dollars for dining out!! If you need 2 beds, you are downstairs and I would highly advise against staying here. The beds were VERY hard, concrete was softer than this bed. Also, when anyone upstairs move it wakes you up. If you need a single bed, I would stay here. When I have stayed in the past the beds were very comfortable and upstairs so no noise to wake you up. The room […] was alittle small, but thats ok. The staff does not speak very good english so it was hard to get towels from the maid. She was very nice, just hard to get something as simple as towels. The breakfast is not very good. Mehr

Pros: price, location, security, parking, wi-fi, safetyness and morning breakfast Cons: water shower too little, carpet not vacuumed, i feel itchy and scratchy all the time. Otherwise, not so bad inn.

We stayed here during new year jan 1st. We arrived at 10pm drove from LA for almost 7hrs when we arrived every one liked the room with twin room which was able to sleep two in one bed , also comfort duvet butt we were stay on the first floor which was hotel has two story. When we were going to sleep at midnight we got disturb with the room up stair […] who was playing game like drum and made a big noise like they were knocking the floor till I got up and called reception to call to the room above to be quiet but seems doesn't work cause they still play game. I had called reception for 3 times and asked to change a new room but she said rooms were full. We had to check out at 2 am in the morning cause we couldn't sleep and we had to drive back to LA in the morning. We really not recommend this hotel!!!!! Mehr

The pictures of the motel are not at all what it actually is. Why does Stone Villa have to show misleading & dishonest pictures? The picture of the complimentary breakfast is a lie. Breakfast starts at 7. When I went in at 7:30, there were bagels, toast, cereal, and prepackaged danish. No fruit. No coffee machine. No waffle maker! The orange juice was […] in a plastic storage container. The room is only big enough to fit a queen size bed. When I asked for additional pillows, I was given lumpy pillows with yellow stains all over it. The cabinet tops and refrigerator had stains. The towels had stains. The bathroom only had one thin piece of soap and one shampoo/conditioner in a packet (enough for one time use!). Overall, the room was dark and unpleasant. The staff was unfriendly and extremely rude. As I walked in to check-in, I was given a rude stare by a male staff. Then, as I drove up to check out, another male staff stopped and gave me a rude stare before deciding to collect my room key outside of the office. The motel corridor floors were dirty, and full of puddles. I will never stay here again. Mehr

Great deal, hotel was ok. Service, owner, employees, NOT friendly. When i arrived I was greeted "hello" "good day" it was basically give me your money. Check out was the same. I liked the location and price, but didnt feel welcomed.

Woman seemed annoyed at having to leave the back room to check us in. She told us that we could've just called. The room was relatively nice with a large walk in closet. The bed was rock hard though and the channels on the TV had heavy static. I most likely would not stay here again

This was an OK stay, but since I travel for work I need to have internet connection. The internet service there I was not able to go on and the office staff was NO help. I even had to call the support for the internet service but where they go me the proper log in information I was kicked off every few minutes. Not Happy. The room was clean and co […] mfortable. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Only complaint was that the towels were ridiculously thin.

I needed a room which was not too expensive. Found it at Stone Villa Inn. The television and the phone didn't work, so I was given another room, but the manager did not seem happy that I complained about it. Second room - double bed. I was told to make sure I used only the one bed and towels and that I would have to move again for the next night when […] they fixed the tv. Room was nice, clean and comfortable. The breakfast was so so, beagles and cereal mostly. The only issue with the room was the water pressure, and no extra pillows or blankets. Otherwise friendly staff, and nice place.

Very clean room. Continental breakfast was great. Overall very satisfied with the quality of service.

Stayed the weekend there a few weeks ago with two friends. Not a single one of us had anything to complain about. The room was very clean and there wasn't anything obviously wrong with the room. And, the room actually looked almost identical to pictures posted on their website. It's no 4 or 5 star hotel but it was rather nice for the price. There was […] a microwave and a refrigerator in our room, which is really nice since most 4 or 5-star places charge you extra for the use of them. No coffee maker though.They also had free wifi, breakfast, and parking. Some people have said the bed was too hard, but I think they're the ones who prefer softer beds to begin with... None of us had trouble sleeping, except for one or two of us staying up late and keeping the others awake. =] I have very sensitive skin, so sometimes I'll itch when I sleep in hotel rooms, even through long-sleeved PJ's and pants. (Usually happens when sheets aren't clean enough or if a cheap detergent/fabric softener is used.) So, it was a nice change not to have to deal with that. The breakfast wasn't great. But, it was free. Simple fare like cereal, milk, coffee, orange juice, bagels, and that sort of thing. Internet was shared through the whole inn, so it wasn't good for anything other than checking messages and chatting type things. The couple who ran the place were really nice and very helpful. It's small, clean, and in a great location. The bed is rock hard though... that's about my only complaint. It's on the main drag which could be awesome or not awesome depending on how you look at it. I liked it because there is a lot around and it's very close to the San Mateo Expo Center.
