Das Hotel hat allenfalls amerikanischen Standard. Die Zimmer sind jedoch im akzeptablen bzw. sauberen Zustand. Das Bett ist sehr groß, aber etwas hart. Aus der Dusche kommt nur spärlich Wasser. Nur aufgrund seiner prächtigen Lage (100 Meter vom Meer entfernt) würde ich dieses Hotel bei einen weiteren Aufenthalt in San Juan sofort wieder buchen. Im Umkreis […] von nur 200 m ist alles vorhanden was man im Urlaub braucht. Der benachbarte Parque del Nuevo Milenio bietet nicht nur saubere Grünflächen, sondern auch zwei palmenreiche wunderschöne Sandstrände mit Blick auf die Altstadt bzw. den Condado/Isla Verde-Stränden. Um die Ecke befindet sich das schicke Caribe Hilton Hotel mit einem Starbucks Coffee Shop im Gebäude. Vor der Haustür sind ein Subway Restaurant und ein Supermarkt. Von der Avenida Juan Ponce de Leon fahren mehrere Buslinien für 0,75 US-Dollar Richtung Condado/Isla Verde-Strände und zur Altstadt. Bei einen schönen Spaziergang entlang der Küste erreicht man die Altstadt auch in 20-25 Minuten zu fuß. Ein hohes Aufkommen an Polizei und Sicherheitskräften auf allen öffentlichen Plätzen vermittelt die nötige Sicherheit. Mehr

Nur geringe Bewegungsmöglichkeit im Zimmer. Wenig zufriedenstellender Dusch- bzw. Toilettenkomfort. Klimaanlage laut und störend beim Schlaf. Frühstück völlig unzureichend und dazu noch verschimmeltes Toastbrot!! Furchtbar! Wir würden dieses Hotel bestimmt nicht mehr aufsuchen bzw. weiterempfehlen.

Leider hält dieses Hotel nicht im geringsten was die Bilder im Internet versprechen. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein, rochen äußerst muffig, die Klimaanlage war unerträglich laut, die Fenster mit Blick zum Innenhof ließen sich nicht öffnen. Ein Safe war im Zimmer leider keiner vorhanden und an der Rezeption konnte nichts hinterlegt werden. Wir haben in […] diesem Hotel eine Nacht gebucht, bevor wir von San Juan aus unsere Kreuzfahrt starteten. An Schlaf war in dieser Nacht leider nicht zu denken. Die Klimaanlage im Zimmer funktionierte zwar, war aber unerträglich laut. Die Hoffnung am nächsten Morgen wenigstens mit einem halbwegs vernünftigen Frühstück versöhnt zu werden, verflüchtigte sich jedoch umgehend, als wir den "Frühstücksraum" betraten. 5 Alutischchen mit jeweils 2 Plastikstühlen standen recht gedrängt vor einem Tisch mit "nichts" drauf. Toastbrot aus der Tüte und Butter. Ein paar braune Bananen und Äpfel und Gottseidank wenige Päckchen Cornflakes. Der einzige Joghurt, der dort noch Stand hatte seine Haltbarkeit bereits 2 Wochen überschritten. Der Kühlschrank im Eck war mit 2 Vorhängeschlössern gesichert :-) Das einzig Positive am Hotel ist die Lage. Zum nahen und schönen Strand sind es 10 Gehminuten und die Bushaltestelle nach Old San Juan ist 2 Gehminuten entfernt. Wir haben für die Rückreise dieses Zimmer storniert und uns im benachbarten Hotel um die Ecke eingebucht. Ein bisschen teurer aber es lohnt sich! Mehr

Das Hotel liegt sehr Zentral vom Flughafen und dem Hafen. In nächster Nachbarschaft das Hilton Hotel dessen Einrichtung wie z. B. Bars, Pool ,Strand benutzt werden kann.

Sehr langer Fußmarsch nach Old San Juan (ca. 30 Min.) entlang einer vielbefahrenen Strasse, die ich nachts nicht alleine laufen würde. 10 Minuten entfernt ein schöner kleiner Strand wo fast nur Einheimische sind. Im nebengelegenen Hilton Hotel gute Möglichkeiten um Cocktails zu trinknen und zu Essen, da sonst nicht viel in der Näheren Umgebung vorhanden. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to have a good time in OSJ. This is a great little place to spend the night and get cleaned up, and is a short walk to a bus stop that will take you to OSJ for 50 cents. Parking is at the Carib Hilton garage. With your ticket validated by the front desk you pay a flat rate, when we stayed the parking costed […] $20/day plus taxes. Our room wasn't all that big, but it wasn't small enough to feel cramped. The King size bed in the suite was comfy and the sheets were clean. Everything in the hotel was kept incredibly clean actually. We had hot water in the shower and sink, and a small fridge. The fridge comes in handy because there isn't any vending machines, or room-service. There is however a subway that is about 50 steps from the front door of the lobby. Grab a footlong sub and keep half in the fridge for later. Amenities wise the hotel is lacking, but it is a very small place. The complimentary breakfast was passable: toast, cereal, danish, and fruit to eat and milk and orange juice to drink. The rooms were also very well cooled, to the point of even making it feel cold, which in Puerto Rico is a great feeling. One of our rooms was a suite which had a twin size bed that doubled as a sofa. Blankets for the twin were in the closet, no sheets though. My son was 3 when we stayed so we just folded the blanket in half and he slept inside the fold with his stuffed animals. I had a wonderful time visiting PR for vacation, and the staff here went out of their way to make the visit even easier. My only complain is that the room I had was on the side that was much noisier. I would have switched, but the other rooms were tiny compared to this one. Just be aware and bring noise cancelling headphones or ear plugs. There are […] constant traffic at all hours. Located on a noisy street. Breakfast was Spartan. Room was clean but bed cover was stained. Staff was friendly and hotel seemed updated. Not many dining options within walking distance. Changed reservations to arrive day later and rate increased 50%. Works for short stays. Best of all...no bugs.

The Hotel was clean and tidy but there was no restaurant or bar and the location was poor for alternatives. The self-service buffet breakfast was poor and we could not even get a glass of water. I would not use the hotel again.

Generally, our stay was very good. The hotel was very clean, the staff was very courteous, and most everything was better than we really expected. What we didn't anticipate was the street noise from below. I would certainly request an interior room (perhaps that would be quieter). We faced the street so the noise was a bit much. We realize the hotel […] has no control over this, but is is something we had not originally anticipated. Also, we made reservations for four. When I asked about the bed configurations (before we arrived) they told me there would be one king bed and one single. They told me that they would have an additional "cot" in our room to accommodate the fourth person. Basically, it was a roll away bed. It worked out fine and we all slept comfortably. We would stay here again, but as I mentioned before, we would certainly ask for an interior room to avoid the street noise. We came looking for a clean, comfortable place to sleep after a long, late night flight that didn't cost a fortune. The room was very clean. The daily maid service excellent. Bed was the ONLY negative about the hotel. It was VERY hard. The hotel is located in an apparently bad location. Room was nice enough, but the bed was hard and the tile floors in the room were dusty/dirty (well they looked clean but if you walked around in bare feet or socks we found out how dirty they were). The room is small, but very clean. The location was perfect for us as it was about 1-2 miles from old San Juan and about 7 miles from the airport. Down the street from the hotel is a bus stop that took us directly to old San Juan. We never waited very long at all and it is only 50 cents to ride. The hotel is also close to a beach.

Good for one night before leaving on a very early flight. Fantastic staff. We broke an entire bottle of beer on the floor and two housekeepers were in our room within minutes to help us clean it up. We booked a suite with one king and 1 single bed. When we arrived, we found the single bed was a sofa without bedding. The front desk said he couldn't find any bedding and suggested we all share the king bed. I simply called hotels.com for a credit. The location map on Hotels.com isn't accurate. This hotel is a "hole-in-the-wall" surrounded by high-rise hotels headlined by Hilton. We had a hard time finding the place by Google directions and had to resort to calling the hotel and asking for directions. Location is formally "old town San Juan", but you'll have to walk at least half an hour to get to old town proper. We had a "suite" with queen […] bed and twin convertible sofa. The size of this room was pretty much standard hotel room - nothing suite-like about it. Tile floors look old and not so clean. We stayed for two nights and on the second day it appeared that the floors were not swept from some crumbs that we generated. Parking is around the corner in Hilton parking garage for $21, quite pricey I would say. The worst things were the old rickety windows and balcony doors. This place is right on the major street, basically three lane one way highway. So it was extremely noisy all night, with cars buzzing by constantly. Even my earplugs were not enough to filter out the noise. Staff was pretty much non-present. To my request to bring linens for the sofa-bed they nodded OK and as it turned out later just ignored it. To my repeated request they said that the linen room is closed for the night and the clerk has no keys. I suggest that you pay more and stay in a little more upscale modern place or pay less and get more value and probably still more comfort and quiet. Mehr

Wanted to stay close to old San Juan, location met that need. As far as amenities, no refrigerator, no in room coffee maker, no in room phone, no pool, hotel staff were helpful, but hotel was somewhat difficult to find, the beach that we walked to was very nice and we did all in all have a nice time.

Our say was good. Two girls got mugged at gun point outside but we were safe. There was a cop on the corner who acted oblivious to the whole thing. If you are in need of a good room for a short stay is a good pick. The bed we had was hard and had that plastic bag thing going on. If you decide to stay here, do not get a room facing the front of the hotel. Stayed here with my girlfriend and we were awoken a few times by the garbage trunks early in the morning and also by loud people on the streets. We thought a balcony would be a plus, but its not if you're facing the front and on the 2nd floor. Only other complaint was the weird […] setup of the room - the bathroom sink was in the bedroom instead of in the bathroom. Overall the San Juan Park Hotel is one I would recommend to my friends; the front desk was helpful and nice overall. The facilities were well kept and close enough to Old San Juan without the noise one would encounter in Old San Juan. The room was clean and comfortable and it had a nice wall mounted flat screen TV with dish TV. Every morning from 7 […] am to 10 the hotel offers free breakfast that consists of boxed cereals, fruit, prepackaged pastries, and beverages. My boyfriend and I took advantage of the breakfast since it helped us save a few bucks during our stay. They also have a washer and dryer available after 4 pm if you need it. San Juan Park Hotel is within a small walking distance of a car rental place, a convenience store, and a few different restaurants. Escambron Beach, an old fort, and park are close by also. Close to the park there are two bus stops if you rather take the bus into Old San Juan rather than walk or pay a taxi. The bus is 75cents each way and is air conditioned; if you decide to take the bus take the M3 bus and make sure to flag it down or else the driver would not stop. Other travelers complained about the water pressure, yes it not what I’m used to in California but it got the job done. I would be unhappy if the hotel had issues with hot water but the water pressure issue is trivial when one is having fun. Mehr
