Great stay, expensive but good value if on a deal. Breakfast very good. Chauffeur service car parking fantastic but expensive. Park at train station cheaper! Very central hotel with lovely quiet bar downstairs for chatting with friends on a Saturday evening. All the bars in the harbour were extremely noisy .Best views on top floors. Floor 16 had amazing […] view in the end room.Make sure you have confirmation of bed and breakfast in your documents, reception staff presumed we were room only. We were really thrilled that we were upgraded to Business Class free of charge as the hotel was busy.However, what I didn’t realise was that the hotel would ‘earmark’ amounts of money from my account ‘just in case’ I used any of the services (which i didn't). Money wasn't 'released' for 6 days, so beware!!

Hotel is in a good location for exploring Bristol, staff were polite and helpful, room was clean and very comfortable. Just a shame that there is no parking provided by the hotel, and that the nearest secure car park is so expensive.

great hotel for breakfast and lovely and clean big rooms . but i have difficulty walking and lift wasnt working on checkout day ,so we had to walk from the 11th floor, as did everyone else, which i found very difficult. also when i booked the room ,on my conformation i was able to checkin at 2pm . but the room was not reay untill 3pm the were other […] people in the same suituation .this was dissapointing too. Booked into the hotel for a long weekend in Bristol visiting friends. We visit Bristol regularly, and have got to know the best hotels. The deal at the Radisson Blu was too good to pass up, so we chose there. I informed the hotel in advance about the requirement for a wheelchair accessible room, and yet the first room they gave us was completely unsuitable. […] The 2nd room they gave us was wheelchair accessible, yet did not have a proper double bed, only zip lock singles put together. In this day and age, wheelchair users do get married and want a proper double bed to sleep in, and to only have twin rooms is unacceptable. The room didn't seem to have been used for a while and the bathroom could have done with some maintenance. Overall we were unimpressed, and will be staying at one of our fail safe hotels in the future. Mehr

Lovely hotel, Evening Dining Superb, although i dislike buffett breakfasts, so no shame on the hotel. Word of warning though students getting very noisy at "kicking out" time from the local pubs and clubs, so dont be surpirised if you are awoken at 2 - 3 am But hotel staff were great!

Large and comfortable standard room. Clean and well maintained. There was some confusion over a request because staff did not properly grasp English. This was corrected.

We booked the hotel a day before we wanted to stay there and managed to get one of their business class rooms (with breakfast) for the same price as a standard room (without breakfast) despite the latter being on special offer. We parked at the rear entrance of the hotel. Our car was valeted away and returned for us with no problems. It was only slightly […] more expensive than parking at Bristol overnight but more convenient. The young man at reception was courteous and efficient and offered us a choice of a room on a low or high floor. We chose the latter and our room was on the 15th floor with fantastic views over the floating harbour and south Bristol. The room was quiet large and as you would expect from one of the better chains of hotels. The only negative comment I can make was that the duvet was too narrow for the bed (it would be fine if there was only one of you in the bed, but me and my husband were fighting for it all night). Breakfast was served in the restaurant on the first floor and was very good. The cooked items were constantly being refilled. There were several attentive waitresses taking orders for drinks and clearing up. We learnt from our family who live in Bristol, that the hotel was built as an office block for the local building society. The conversion is excellent and you would not guess its origins. Mehr

NIce hotel and good position. Modern and clean but one lift wasn't working - Main problem the heating in the bedroom didn;t work and when reported they said that they had checked it and it was working. Eventually they came again to check and it wasn't working. We changed rooms at 10 pm at night to a room which they had checked to make sure it was ok […] but guess what the heating in the bathroom still didn't work. We waited 20 mins as they promised to come back to us within 5 mins and then gave up. It was like they did not believe the customer - very poor customer service. we are going back again for free so they can prove that they can get it right????? I would rather have not had the problems in the first place Mehr

Very nice hotel. Excellent breakfasts. Tip: on street parking round the corner in King St is free on Sundays but otherwise parking in the local area is a bit steep (Bristol has an excellent poark & ride service).

Stay here very often and it's the only hotel in Bristol I opt for. It's clean, friendly and accessible to the city centre within walking distance. The view is also amazing. Only set back is the car park, the hotel doesn't provide parking and they don't offer a discount like they used to for parking in the nearest NCP.

Very good service and breakfast. Rooms a little dark however - could do with another light. At the rates we paid I would definitely come back year after year while attending the Bristol Sound & Vision show.

room was lovely and clean, bed big & comfy. One lift was out of use which was slightly inconvenient. The security staff on duty in the evening were rude and impolite, however I recognise that this is a security company and not a direct employee of the Radisson, other staff were helpful.

The staff were very friendly and the room was very comfortable and very clean. The view from the room was great from the thirteenth floor. The hotel was well situated; right in the centre of the city.

All the staff that we dealt with at the hotel were the friendliest I have come across in the uk and I have stayed in many uk hotels. Fast and efficient check in staff and very friendly restaurant staff. The one and only fault, beware of the hot food pots at breakfast, the handles get very, very, very hot even with a cloth on them!! Lovely modern hotel ideally situated for the city centre and historic docks. Had great view from 10th floor. Large well equipped clean room with a wonderful bed. How good to find a hotel that had free wi-fi in all the rooms, all hotels should now include that. Would certainly go back again.

Possibly the most poorly lit room I've ever had, pretty much impossible to work out what colour I was wearing without going into the bathroom. Apparently useless for doing make up and hair (not my field of expertise). The sink was also a triumph of design over practicality, a very shallow square that wasn't deep enough to get my cupped hands underwater […] when shaving. Also, no biscuits, why? Also, this is the second time I've stayed here and there's only been one lift working on both occasions so it can take a while to get up to your room. Mehr

The Hotel is perfect to visit Bristol Docks and see a show at the theatre.The ability to have an early meal for theatre goers was very welcome on a cold and very wet night.The room was good and of a nice size excellent bath room.

Only stayed for one night, the room was very clean, only negative about room was the view, looked on to other rooms. All staff very helpful, even when English is their second language

Good location in the city centre. My only negative would be the lighting in the rooms which can be a bit dark so not always conducive if you have to work in your room.

Stayed here for NYE, the best NYE I have had in a long time, I booked a business room. On arrival I asked what floor the room would be on, (as it was NYE I wanted a room on a reasonably high floor so we could watch the fireworks) at first the receptionist said the room would be on the 13th floor but once handed my key, I was lucky enough that they upgraded […] us onto the 17th floor, which had patio doors onto the roof, we had a great view over Bristol especially at midnight whilst watching the fireworks. Would definatley stay here again a very comfortable and modern room, with all the facilities that are needed. Mehr
