Story Hotel - Stockholm

Ein schönes Hotel in super Lage. Das Zimmer war zwar sehr klein, aber gemütlich. Das Frühstück hätte etwas üppiger sein können. Aber auf jeden Fall sehr empfehlenswert.

Pro • perfekte Lage -> super zentral • klasse Inneneinrichtung • coole Bar mit wechselnd auflegenden DJ´s • sehr gute Küche -> allerdings teuer Kontra • äusserst unpersönlich • keine Zimmerreinigung an dem Tag nach Silvester • keine Parkplätze vorhanden -> Parken in der City ist sehr teuer

Das Zimmer war extrem klein, kein Schrank noch Garderob, nur 5 Bügel an einem offenen Kleiderständer à la Kaufhaus. Der Fön baumelte am Kabel hängend an diesem Ständer. Das Licht konnte nicht getrennt vom Schlafraum und Bad geschaltet werden, ebenso nicht vom Bett aus. Ein "Wäschefach" war unterhalb der leeren Minibar mit ca. 50 x 40 cm vorhanden. Die […] Dekoration war interessant. Nervig war die Ansage im Fahrstuhl, dass Luca im 2. Stock "lived" und dass die Bar auf der linken Seite sei. das Story Hotel in Stockholm ist in seiner Einrichtung sehr eigenwillig, aber auch wirklich interessant. Sehr freundliches und überaus hilfsbereites Personal. Frühstück ist OK, total hippe Bar. Wir hatten ein sehr ruhiges und geräumiges Zimmer im 4. Stock. Manchen Leuten fehlte der Kleiderschrank, uns nicht. Zimmerreinigung und täglicher Handtuchwechsel […] selbstverständlich. Keine Mängel. Klasse Frühstücksbuffet (auch zum Abendessen lohnt es sich mal im Hotel zu bleiben)

Das Hotel liegt in einem trendigen Stadttviertel alles eher chick.Leider alles sehr teuer! Das Hotel ist ebenfalls sehr trendy und stilvoll eingerichtet. Kann ich nur empfehlen. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten sind sehr leicht mit der Metro anzureisen. Der Service im Hotel ist freundlich dennoch nicht sehr aufmerksam zBp: Beim Abendessen die Tische putzen etc. […] sind nur Details, dennoch gehört dies zum Service dazu wie ich finde.... Mehr

The perfect design, cutest hotel i ve ever seen! Det var toppen!

The only thing missing is a workout facility of some sort. Otherwise, a solid, decent hotel with some fun embellishments.

Very cool place. Environmentally friendly, great service, good b'fast and funky & funny.

My husband and i stayed here for 2 nights and had a lovely time. The hotel is in a great location and the breakfast was really good, but the rooms are very small. Although they are very nice they are very small and didi not have the luxury element we had expected. We had a really good time though.

We spent two nights at Story Hotel just before new year. We had great time in this lovely design hotel. Rooms are clean, spacious enough and decorated with personal touch. Overall decoration of whole hotel is very cool and Story is really .having own style and atmosphere. Hotel is not actually having reception (there is desktop for online check in […] and check out), but there is still always someone to help you. Only minus was that WLAN doesn't worked in our room... I took my husband on a surprise trip to Stockholm, an he said that what made the trip for him was the fantastic hotel! Not only were the rooms beautifully designed (we wish our flat looked like this), but the bathroom was luxurious with it's heated floors and rainfall shower head. The cherry on top was the super trendy and fun cocktail bar within the […] hotel...we would often rush bak from our nights out to make sure we got a couple delicious cocktails in there before heading up to bed. Spent only one night at the hotel while passing through Stockholm and it was perfect. Great location to walk around the city centre.

This hotel is very good! Great food, great room, nice staff and a lovely restaurant! The only negative thing: It was quite noisy saturday evening / night. Dont bring children.

Great design boutique hotel. If you are into that kind of thing this hotel is amazing. Every little detail is so well designed. The location is brilliant for the whole of Stockholm as in you can pretty much walk everywhere and if you are not the walking type the underground is 20 metres away and you can get to anywhere in Stockholm very easily. The […] only downside to the hotel is its expensive in the bar and for room service. We paid nearly 30GBP for 2 vodka and orange. I know Stockholm is expensive but thats still steep. Room service was something like 10GBP for fries. All in all I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone, in fact if you are into design then you must stay here! Mehr

This hotel tries too hard to be hip. With dim lighting and hallway walls painted black, we couldn't see our room keypad without a flashlight. Internet worked in the lobby, but not our fifth floor room. Comfortable bed. Great location (100 yards from a subway station and within walking distance to many restaurants, museums, and shops), and a nice breakfast […] buffet. Charming hotel!! But; the bathrooms are not for ladies.....

We stayed at Story Hotel for a week in Sept 2011 and would love to comment. The hotel location is ideal, walking distance from most of what is best to see in Stockholm. The restaurant is excellent at any time of day, incl the environment, the menu and the service. Story hotel has a unique distinctive feel and is very efficient and innovative in the […] way services are provided. Chic and quirky in a charming way. Right next door is a hidden treasure where time stopped two generations ago, the Sturekatten Cafe, a must visit for coffee, cake & the best in Swedish light meals. In the evenings the stylish cocktail bar at Story Hotel is buzzing, and refreshments mixed by Jonas are simply the best. The hotel also has access to the "World Class" gym located just around the corner. Five floors of whatever you could want in a gym, clean well organised and friendly, like Story Hotel. Excellent location Very friendly & helpfull staff Very small room

We liked the physical hotel and staff but we did not know that it had no AC and the room was so warm the windows had to be left open. There were people screaming in the street until after 3 AM. There was constrruction that started at 6:45 AM the next morning with a front end loader dropping concrete into a giant metal dumpster every 3 minutes. Not very […] restful. Mehr

such cute little hotel. Every little design detail was so considerate and cute. also in GREAT location. All over, the hotel and my stay was great. definitely recommendable. I would stay there gain. but maybe bigger room ;) couple of pros... I stayed at Friggebod room. The room was really small and tight. I couldn't even wide open my suit case. I […] can't call outside from room phone. it was really inconvenient since I was there on business. There is a restaurant on the first floor, the kitchen. ambience is fantastic, fashionable crowd, food was excellent. but the portion was extremely small. I am a small skinny girl doesn't eat much though. it's good to know before you order. also there was not really a reception desk. it's kinda in the hall way. I thought it was little bit weird. the receptionist/checkin crew/concierge was very nice. but he/she wasn't always there. I always had to look into the bar and the kitchen to get some attention. Highly recommended

It's like the Ace hotel of Stockholm--nice bar, restaurant, good vibes, relaxed atmosphere. Half a block from subway, around corner from tons of shopping. Definitely worth a stay. Front desk helped with many a restaurant recommendation, reservations, etc.

The hotel looks on the inside more a prison block than a hotel. Ours may have even different associations. The rooms are small but clean. I though the price was really high compared to other hotels in the same category. Breakfast was included and good.

I was there on business and had my office in Sture Gallerian. Literally a two minute walk. Perfect. There's a great humorous surprise in the elevator when you go to the second floor. If you are staying at this hotel definitely go to the second floor just for a laugh. Very friendly and good receptionist. All staff were good. The door keys are actually […] 5 numbers which makes it convenient if you have a partner joining you as I did. She didn't have to come pick up the key from me but rather just arrived at the hotel. Great shower. Very roomy and strong showerhead. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. Would definitely do it again. Mehr

The room was unreasonably small

The Story Hotel management and staff have nailed it by redefining the superlative of modern, hip and centrally-located hotels. Better still, the place couldn't be more affordable; rather than nickel and dime travelers with an honor bar, the rooms include an empty fridge with a note inviting you to stock it (or have it stocked) with food and drink of […] your choosing. By the way, be prepared to encounter an elevator named "Luka" that is apparently a fan of Suzanne Vega; he'll tell you he lives on the second floor, and is more than happy to direct you to the bar. Great location, easy walking distance to city centre and old town. Staff were great, Nicely decorated (funky) hotel, bathroom fresh and spacious, however only 2 pillows provided on the bed. Breakfast was very good but limited tea selection. Would definitely stay here again.

Let's start with the negative points. The room was cold and the 5 tog duvet provided did not help much to warm things up. So, sleepwise it could have been better. I can definitely recommend this for a stay in Stockholm. Our room on the fifth floor with a balcony was very comfortable, great size, great beds and nice french doors to let the summer breeze in. Room is very quiet, can not hear any neighbors, and very faint street sounds. It's near everything in Ostermalm, the water and lots of places to eat. The hotel is super trendy , staff are nice... BUT BUT BUT... VERY VERY NOISY there is a club just under the hotel, so, you hear big music until 2 am, then the drunk people come out, so until 2:30am. If in summer, there is no AC, so it gets super hot and with the windows open, music is even louder... so... your choice

Het verblijf van mezelf en 5 vriendinnen in het hotel was zeer geslaagd! Pluspunten: centrale ligging, knappe inrichting, lekker ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel. Minpunten: geen echte lobby, dus wat onhandig bij in en uitchecken, straatlawaai 's nachts op 2de verdieping erg hoorbaar, weinig opbergplaats in kamer.

Annorlunda design på hotellet. Ganska trevligt faktiskt! Men det var ett otroligt liv av glaskross och sopbilar utanför som gjorde att det inte gick att sova många minuter... Inte något av dom bättre hotellen jag bott på!

Excellent séjour dans cet hôtel. Le petit déjeuner était super. Le personnel était très aimable. Rien à redire.
