Das Hotel selbst entspricht einem guten Standard für New Yorker Verhältnisse. Es liegt direkt am Times Square und ist somit zentral zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten. Ab und an war etwas wenig Druck auf der Leitung und das Wasser war zum Teil nur lauwarm, dies ist jedoch verschmerzbar, da es nicht kalt war, sondern lauwarm. Einziges Manko: Kofferaufbewahrung nach Check-Out mit 5,- USD pro Schließfach sehr teuer.

Das frühstück war überdurchschnittlich gut für USA-Verhältnisse. Die Zimmer waren zwar nicht sonderlich groß aber trotz allem war alles vorhanden was man braucht. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Die Nähe zu gleich zwei verschiedenen U-Bahn Stationen ist wirklich top. Vom Hotel aus ist man innerhalb von 10 Minuten am Timesqaure.

Sehr angenehm, modern, gute Lage, freundlich. Etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, die Dusche und Toilette nur durch eine Glasschiebetür und Vorhang vom Rest des Zimmers abgetrennt. Ich hatte mit einem Freund zusammen ein Zimmer mit zwei getrennten Betten. Man sollte sich schon sehr gut kennen, wenn man beim Verrichten seines Geschäfts jedes Geräusch aus der Toilette im Zimmer mithört. Sehr gut war das superschnelle Internet ohne langes Codes und langem Einwählverfahren. Die Rezeption sehr freundlich, aber in diesem Hotel wird eine gewisse Selbstständigkeit des Reisenden erwartet.

Great hotel...very clean. The only issue we had is our room was not cleaned the first night. Apparently a mix up with a new maid, but the hotel fixed the problem right away. Very clean, great free breakfast and they shuttled us to the metro so we could go into the city every day. Had to take the metro then a bus back to the hotel, but this was very […] easy and the hotel provided us with easy, exact and detailed instructions on how to do this. Stayed here a night before we flew out of Laguardia. Its in good shape and the room was big and comfortable. They have a shuttle to the airport and also to the subway. Everything was great. The only thing I didn't like was the tight space between the cold metal pole / handle in the shower and the spray from the shower. "Great hotel except for breakfast"
I was happy with nearly everything about this hotel. The rooms were modern, large and comfortable, nicely decorated and clean. The staff was friendly and polite. The rate was very good, considering we were there during Christmas week. I didn't even mind having to pay for parking because the total charge was still a good deal. Because it's located right […] by LaGuardia Airport it was packed all week with lots of families and travelers checking in and out. The one thing I really didn't like was breakfast. I've stayed at a number of other Hampton Inns and they usually have a decent breakfast spread with cooked eggs and sausage or bacon most days. The breakfast room was a zoo--packed every day no matter what time I got down there, and they were constantly running out of hot food an hour before breakfast was over. The few times I was able to grab some eggs they were so awful I couldn't eat them. The bagels and the oatmeal were good but they ran out of bagels on the last day I was there. How the kitchen staff made it through those breakfast hours and still managed to smile and patiently re-stock the food and clean up all the messes left by guests and kids I will never know. They deserve a medal! Well, any hotel in New York is a mob scene during the holidays, so I think I will go back to Hampton Inn La Guardia again when it's not the busiest week of the year. We always try to stay at Hampton Inns when given the choice, and we've had some great experiences. We booked this late, with a special deal, and it was fine for an airport hotel stay though a little rundown -- stained and dirty rugs being the worst of it. Shuttle service to and from Airport and Subway stops were very handy - Drivers for the most part were very nice and courtious. Desk personel were very good. The hotels breakfast was very nice, not the same old thing everyday, just not stocked very well especially as the time got closer to the 10am cut off time. The room was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were somewhat cordial and helpful nothing extraordinary. It was nice to have a complimentary breakfast in the morning, however, the food was mediocre at best. Absolutely loved the 24 hour complimentary coffee/tea bar in the lobby! The biggest drawback to this hotel is the distant location of a subway station. […] Although the hotel offers a "free" shuttle, it only runs once an hour until 1pm. "Good for travelers"
We arrived at the hotel during a Nor'easter. Received a prompt welcome and our room was ready. Best part was the incredibly comfortable bed and cleanliness of the bathroom. Although it was noisy outside (wind, rain, and planes) the room was very quiet. Based upon other reviews I had requested a room away from the elevator. NO FREE PARKING was available. […] The hotel has limited space for parking outside the lobby. The parking garage is right next door and cost $15.00 for the night. There is no easy access to the hotel from the garage and exits for pedestrians are poorly marked. That was the only downside to our stay. Airport shuttle began its runs at 4 a.m. Terminal B is a two minute ride from the hotel which was ideal for our family. We ate dinner next door at the companion hotel's bar - decent food and friendly service. Did not see any other dining options in the neighborhood. My husband, our toddler and I made a short trip to NYC to visit family. We chose the Hampton because of its proximity to La Guardia. The free shuttle to and from the airport was quick and convenient. Check in a a breeze. The rooms were clean enough to have my toddler crawl around on the floor. Breakfast was what you expect at a Hampton. Getting to this […] city is about $45 via car service. You can also walk about 20-30 minutes to the metro or go to La Guardia and catch a bus to a metro station or into the city. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom needed minor repairs for wallpaper peeling on the bottom. We had a great view of Manhattan from our room. The only problem is the parking. The lot is way too small for the amount of rooms. My exppereince with your hotel started off on a bad not and continued from there. Your driver failed to tell us that he had stops and so when he took us to the neighbouring hotel and announced that we had arrived at our destination we naturally disembarked only to discover after standing in a long line to check in that we were not at the Hampton inn. […] The desk clerk then suggested I walk over instead - but I guess since Iwas not a guest in his hotel I was not longer his concern. The driver fianlly came back to collect me and then it got worst. The desk service was impolite and not very helpful and when I finally got to my room on a level that I did not widh to be on the room was mouldy and smelt foul. Whne I complained I was eventually moved, however, by then, there was nothing that you could have done that would have recovered my weekend. Lady from desk was a mess. Someone was trying to call her to confirm my reservation and she just kept hanging up the call. Even worse she did it in front of me and in top of that I told her that they were calling her but she just kept doing it.
