"Schönes Hotel in bescheidener Lage"
Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 1. Feb. 2013Schönes neues Hotel mit schönen Zimmern, gutem Frühstück und hervorragendem Essen an der Bar. Eigentlich habe ich nichts auszusetzen, außer die Lage. Man braucht relativ lange um zum Zentrum zu gelangen und da ist der Zusatz "Midtown" einfach verwirrend.

Bewertet von einem Hotels.com-Gast am 19. Jul. 2012Ich war dort ganze 2 Wochen und ich war zufrieden. Das Gebäude ect. ist alt aber sauber. Das Pesonal ist sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Der Pool war bei der sommerlichen Hitze sehr angenehm. Das zimmer hält allerei annehmlichkeiten bereit, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, Kaffemaschine (+ tägliches auffüllen des Kaffevorrates & Becher!) Föhn jede Menge Handtücher....... Zum Frühstück kann ich nichts sagen, außer das es morgens nach frischen Waffeln gerochen hat ;o)ich habe auf dem Zimmer gefrühstückt! Die gute Verkehrsanbindung benötigt natürlich die Nähe zum Highway ;o) Ich fand es trotzdem nicht laut! Meist verbringt man ja den Tag irgendwo "draußen" und kommt nur zum schlafen ins Hotel! Ach übrigens; meine Klamotten konnte ich auch waschen und trocknen ;O) Die direkte Gegend um das Hotel ist nicht sehr einladend. Man braucht, wie sowieso in USA üblich, ein Auto, um die schönen Mall`s und Einkaufsläden zu erreichen! Zur Not kann man in ca 8-10 Minuten zu einem Walmart laufen. Ist aber ein Weg direkt am Highway und an Straßen, an denen NIEMAND zu Fuß unterwegs ist!! :-( Also bei einem Aufenthalt unbedingt vorher ein Auto mieten!!

We were very pleasantly surprised when we walked into this hotel. The lobby is sleek and modern, with a great little cafe and snack bar. The staff were all friendly and professional. Was kept up all night by what I thought were loud neighbors. I was actually listening to their conversations. Awakened by the cleaning crew in that room the next day. "Comfortable rest for a chaotic weekend"
The room was very clean, the beds comfortable and the restroom was a nice upgrade to other hotels that claim to be a bit more classy. ONLY complaint we had, which applies to most hotels, is that noone is ever ready to check out at noon!!! ESPECIALLY on an ACL weekend! Everything was fine, but with that many stars you would think that the towels wouldn't be as rough. Some even had worn through in spots. In reference to the showers, they are cleaned daily however, due to the type of material, it appears to look as though it has not been cleaned. The food was not very good. The menu was limited and expensive for what it was. The hotel and the room were nice, but the food service was definitely lacking. Most hotels in that area provide food at happy hour and free breakfast.Authentische Expedia-Gästebewertung

First of all, I would like to apoligize for the fact that your stay did not meet your expectations. The food service here at the hotel is actually Marriott standard and unfortunatley the food choices nor the prices are set by anybody here at the property. In addition, the Courtyard brand offers a variety of healthy food options that are made to order off of the menu as opposed to a continental style breakfast that is generally complimentary at other Marriott products. Being that we are located directly off of IH-35, which is one of the main corridors through Austin, traffic is generally the only barrier to getting around. We do offer a complimentary shuttle service Monday - Friday that travels within a 5 mile radius and takes guests to several of the North Austin hotspots for food and entertainment. Again, I am very sorry that your expectations were not met during your stay with us but, I do hope this response clears a little bit of that up. Should you need anything else, please do not hesitate to contact a team member at the hotel!

The ice machine on one of the floors was recently serviced due to the fact that it was not making ice. At anytime, you can call the front desk and we can deliver ice or most anything else to you for that matter. We are here to ensure that you have a great stay and want to come back. We are also currently working on getting refrigerators and microwaves in the entire hotel. At this time we have them available upon request. Again, I am very sorry that you were not satisfied with your stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. My kids enjoyed the pool because it was inside and it wasn't so hot and we enjoyed the hot spa. "Good stay, great price"
We got a great deal on this last minute weekend getaway. Hotel is located on I-35 and not what I consider the best location. I prefer the quieter Domain or Arboretum area. Hotel was clean and the staff was friendly as expected but did not exceed expectations so that is why I gave a 4. No free breakfast but there is a cafe to purchase food. Room was […] clean and comfortable but not the most comfortable I have ever stayed in but definitely the most comfortable for the price. There is no refrigerator in the room and the plumbing in the shower was actually sticking out of the wall about an inch or so. Had an awesome time at this Courtyard! Hotel was updated/fairly new and very clean. Check-in was the fastest I've ever experienced and the lady was extremely friendly! Room was very clean and quiet. "Clean rooms, safe area, nothing worked!"
Honestly, it was very disappointed considering this was a Marriott. My family and I were on an extended vacation/ house hunting trip. This was a 3 day stop for us which happened to be in the middle of our trip. Everything was broken. The ice machine did not work on our floor, but the staff did move us to a floor that had a working ice machine after […] several requests. There are only 2 washers and dryers for the entire hotel and the are both located on one floor. Both washers were broken our entire stay. We had to lug all if our laundry to the next hotel to do laundry and sit there 3 hours while it was being done. This was not fun considering we had a small child with us. The staff seemed very rude and made us feel Like we shouldn't complain because we already received a good deal from Expedia. If you are lookin for a 1 or 2 star hotel then I say stay here. "Great hotel"
This hotel was fantastic. The check-in was easy, the staff was great with every encounter, the rooms were large, comfortable and I loved the shades that could make the room completely dark, even on a bright day. There were some comments about the noise level due to the proximity to the freeway, but honestly this was not an issue for me. Yes, if the […] room was completely quiet you could hear the freeway, but if the AC is running or you are having a conversation with another person you would not notice. The location is further from downtown Austin that we have stayed in the past, but that is only about 4-5 additional minutes in the car, not a big deal. Overall, I am very satisfied. "Awesome beds!"
We had a great stay. It was perfect for our family's vacation. I really loved that the fitness room overlooks the pool so while I was working out I could watch my kids and husband playing. Even though we were doing different things at the time, I still felt like we were "together". The beds were very comfortable and the pillows were amazing. The ONLY complaint we have is the highway noise, but that's kind of to be expected from a hotel right off the highway. We were just surprised that that stretch of road didn't seem to ever slow down. "Great hotel for anyone traveling."
Check in was easy and quick, Check out was even easier. Staff was always friendly and very helpful. Room was very clean and well stocked. Even then the Ice Machine on the first floor was broken the staff went out of the way to get us Ice from the Bistro's Kitchen and hand delivered it to our room. I was very satisfied with our stay, the only negatives would be.......mattress was extremely hard and the highway noise (since hotel was along the highway) this hotel really needs soundproof windows. But other than that everything was okay.Authentische Hotels.com-Gästebewertung

I am terribly sorry that your mattress did not meet your expectations. Being that we are a branded hotel, we do have to stay within the brand requirements for something and unfortunately mattresses are one of those items. Marriott tries to provide mattresses that are in the middle when it comes to how firm or soft they are. I definitely understand though where you are coming from. Please do not let that deter you from coming back to experience our high level of customer service that each guests receives from check-in to check-out the next time you are in Austin!

"Exceeded my Expectations!"
Oh my God! I don't have enough words to describe how lucky I was to find this hotel. It is SO pretty!!! And absolutely affordable. Everything s clean, smells good, they even have a bar! Hotel was nice and clean, lots of space downstairs, room was quite comfortable and spacious. If you're in the rooms close to IH 35, yes you can hear some of the traffic, not too bad though... front desk was oh so nice letting my wife and niece get in the room before I could show up... and retrieving my missing bike keys... small things that's makes […] life easier! "WOULD RETURN TO STAY HERE"
