Das Marriott Courtyard hat einen hohen Qualitätsstandard, wie man ihn von dieser Kette kennt. Die Lage ist leider recht weit vom Zentrum in Istanbul. Der Service ist für die Türkei auch recht gut, die meisten Angestellten sprechen Englisch. Die meisten Hotelgäste sind auf der Durchreise und vorwiegend Araber.

Hotel, Service und Personal sehr angenehm. Trotz nähe des Flugplatzes kaum Lärmimissionen. Leider liegt das Hotel etwas weit weg von den Sehenswürdigkeiten (1 Stunde Taxifahrt bis Altstadt). Wer Zeit hat (längere Taxifahrten in Kauf nimmt) sich nicht scheut die Umgebung zu erkundigen (keine Touristen) dem kann man das Hotel empfehlen.

Wir haben eine Stopover-Nacht im Hotel gebucht, bevor es am nächsten Tag vom Atatürk Airport weiterging. Insgesamt ein sehr empfehlenswertes Hotel mit gutem Service (z.B. kostenloses Shuttle) und sehr guter Lage für den o.g. Zweck... Die Hotelbar ist sehr teuer, das Frühstücksbuffet aber recht gut! Insgesamt gerne wieder!

Meine beste Freundin und ich hatten am Flughafen zuerst Mühe den Hotel shuttle bus zu finden. Die Menschen sind dort jedoch sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der Service im Hotel war sehr aufmerksam. Die Sauna und der Indoor Swimmingpool hat uns auch gefallen. Der einzige Nachteil am Courtyard Marriott ist, dass es ca. 30min vom Stadtzentrum entfernt […] ist und der shuttle bus nur 1x pro Tag (9.00h) dorthin fährt. Jedoch fährt er jede Stunde zum Flughafen Atatürk. Von dort aus fahren die Metros - mit einmal aufs Tram umsteigen - in die Stadt. Insgesamt haben wir unseren Aufenthalt dort genossen :-) Mehr

Great comfortable room, quiet, great breakfast but in a poor location. The hotel charges for internet in room and the cost of food and drink is high

Free transfer - and frequent. Good security. Check-in no so helpful.

It's a perfect hotel close to the airport but far from all other sites. The only way to get there is by taxi.

The best hotel near the airport (IST)!

Isolated location, so once you're there you're trapped. There's a pool, but it was too cold to actually use Pizza was the worst I have had in my life. Better you bring sandwiches. For the money, disappointing, but probably a grudging necessity if you have to be close to the airport.

Very close to Ataturk international airport. Free shuttle service to and from airport however there is no reservation list making people rush and push to get on. I found that by the time I had put my cases at the back all the seats had been taken and was obliged to remove my cases amd wait for the next shuttle service. They should have a list of people who have flights to catch and need the service as priority over those who only want to travel to the airport to take the train to the city. Mehr

Stayed overnight in transit for an early morning domestic flight. Slight confusion over the name with the taxi driver , he knew it as Merriotts Courtyard Airport hotlel. Good shuttle bus service.

Perfect location for Istanbul Airport

No room service and really bad food available although breakfast was good, no way to adjust temperature in the room and faulty wifi. Other hotels in the area are much better when it comes to services available and about the same price. Will stay away from this place from now on.

it was the worst experince that I ever had in this hotel. The weather was extremly cold in the lobby as well as the room.

Although a beautiful hotel, the air vent system had an unresolved problem and the cigarette smoke that came throughbthe vents as a result, was quite bothersome for us as non smokers.

We were disappointed that we were giving handicapped rooms instead of regular rooms, they must have given our rooms away. Room was very clean, but lacked common sense items like a phone and clock/alarm next to bed. Also, no kleenex and no face soap. The tub/shower had no curtain, and the stand up shower didn't have the curved bar to give you room and […] stop the curtain from sticking to me. The breakfast was not exciting, soggy eggs, cold hot dog like sausages, no bacon or ham. The omelette was good, but I had to tell them how to make it. The waffle wasn't really a waffle, more like a thin pancake with waffle marks. Plus, the cook gave away my waffle to someone else and I had to wait again. I had the pleasure to stay in Courtyard Mariott. Small but confortable and hospitable. Limited choice of F & B but just enough for business travellers. Value for money.

Best hotel i have found for Airport ( not for sightseeing ). Comfortable decent rooms, restaurant & bar. Free courtesy bus to & from Airport which stops whinging taxi drivers at airport who do not like short journeys. Will be back in a few weeks

Probably the nicest Courtyard we've stayed at. Very clean, modern, spacious room. Airport shuttle was very convenient. Definitely recommend if needing a room near the airport.

Very convenient to Airport & free courtesy bus. Airport taxi drivers do not like short runs, which avoids this problem. No good for tourism, as just alongside one of main highways, but OK to ensure early arrival at airport. Can be very pricey for a Courtyard Hotel

Compared to US Marriott Courtyards, this is above average. But as often in Turkey, there's always something that doesn't work. This time it was the AC in the gym. After pointing it out several times, the "health club manager" came by and explained that her staff had caled in sick and therefore had not turned it on. New clean well run operation. Stayed one night as flew in from Athens and had 0545 flight next day. There is a shuttle but does not ru. Frequently. Only $10 TL ride to airport and cabs always there. Restaurant was good with good wine selection.

Getting to this hotel from the airport was a nightmare! The hotel advertises a "complimentary" airport - hotel shuttle. The service is not at all convenient. There is no shuttle service for the four hours between 14:30 and 18:30. Our plane arrived at 16:00. I called the hotel and was told that the next shuttle was at 18:30 (wait 2 1/2 hours) or I could […] take a taxi. However, the taxi drivers in the taxi queue did not want to take us to this hotel. The first 4 taxis in the queue rudely said no and sped off to get other customers. When we finally arrived at the hotel and told the clerk the difficulty we had, he asked whether we had taken down the license numbers. He said the hotel was aware that customers were having difficulty getting taxi service to the hotel, but there was nothing the hotel could do unless we had the license numbers of the taxi. Additionally, the first shuttle to the airport in the morning leaves the hotel at 6:00 am, which is not enough time for an international flight leaving at 7:45 am. Another taxi ride. I had chosen this hotel specifically because it was an "airport" hotel with complimentary shuttle service. I was sorely disappointed! . Mehr

The hotel met all of our expections with only one problem. They could not locate our reservation even with confirmation number. Only after I pulled it up on the computer and they printed a copy did we get a room with about a 30 minute delay. I still do not know where the fault lies.

Excellent airport hotel for stop over or business, perhaps too far out for those wishing to visit the main tourist sites of Istanbul.

On the overall a good experience...I was there for work purposes and it suited the needs well.

This hotel is a quick cab ride to Ataturk International Airport. There is also a complimentary shuttle to the airport, but we had a very early flight, and the shuttle wasn't running yet. The hotel was everything I expected.. convenient location, close to the airport, clean. The shuttle was very nice. The staff was helpful and the room was very clean and updated. I would highly recommend the Marriott.

In general the hotel is great, clean and modern. We were only dissapointed with the bad tobacco odor in the room when we arrived. as we stayed only for a few hours from midnight to 4 am it was late to make a change.

Awesome hotel, great price, much more like a good American hotel. It is a $25 taxi ride from the old city. They do offer a very limited shuttle to the old city. A hotel of this quality in the old city is $100 to $200 more per night though.

The hotel is located at an industrial area near istanbul Ataturk airport. They run free shuttles from the airport with a/c. The shuttle driver and all the staff were very friendly and nice. It was extremely clean and looked brand new. We used the indoor pool and the sauna. The pool was unbelievably nice with soothing music and clean atmosphere. Tile work, lighting and music was excellent. The sauna was one of the nicest and largest I have been to. My wife and I did not want to leave the indoor pool area and it was very relaxing after a long flight. The only downside of the hotel was the food. As it was ramadan, we wanted to venture outside and eat someplace local but the area the hotel is located is very industrial and the only two restaurants that were nearby looked pretty average and were all empty due to ramadan and we did not want to be the only ones eating. When we got back to the hotel, we wanted something simple to take to our room. The sandwiches at their market store was not looking good at all. We ordered a tomato and cheese pizza from the hotel restaurant. From the restaurant food pictures on the elevator, we expected a pretty pizza with fresh tomatoes, basil and cheese. What we got was pretty gross..It was covered in greasy cheese with a hint of either ketchup or tomato paste as the vegetable! It is pretty shameful for a hotel at this quality to serve something like that as food and charge 14TL. I highly recommend the hotel but beware of the qualiy of the pizzas and food they serve. Mehr

The hotel is very new and modern and has all the amenities of an American hotel, even ice machines in the hallways (which I've never seen in Europe). The staff was friendly and accomodating. They seemed eager to please. The hotel restaurant had decent food. The downsides are that the hotel is in a blue collar neighborhood with nothing to offer within […] walking distance. Also, the thermostat has a nanny feature that keeps you from adjusting the temperature very low. It never got below 73 in the room, and I prefer it to be 70-71. Mehr

This is an upscale business hotel, conveniently located close to the airport and other historical places. A free shuttle service runs throughout the day to the airport and other popular destinations. This […] must be one of the safest hotels ever; the gates have barriers and they check every vehicle entering the parking lot. Your luggage is x-ray'ed at the lobby and you need to go thru airport like scanners to enter the hotel. The neighborhood is a mix of residential and industrial buildings, nothing interesting. Efficient, courteous check-in and check-out. Very clean and in excellent repair. Convenient to IST airport.

We had an overnight stopover at Istanbul Airport and I had made reservation at Courtyard Mariott. Shuttle picked us up at the Airport. Hotel meets American standards. Room very clean and spacious. Staff was helpful. TV with international channels. Good breakfast. Neighborhood not interesting (though there are some factory outlets), but that was not […] the purpose of our stay. Very nice hotel. Close to airport, with good free shuttle service. Free WIFI in lobby. Staff was helpful, shuttle driver gave us great directions and showed us which tram stops to use. I would recommend this hotel to anyone flying in for a short visit.

The hotel is great for business travellers. It is about 35-min taxi ride from Sultanahmet area (where the Blue Mosque and other historical sites are). Despite its proximity to the airport, the hotel is fairly quiet.
