Das Zimmer wa relativ groß und es gab sogar eine Couch. Leider war sowohl diese Couch als auch der Boden nicht ganz sauber, denn man hatte uns ein Raucherzimmer gegegeben, obwohl wir ein Nichtraucherzimmer gebucht hatten. Die Ascheränder am Teppich und die Brandlöcher waren dabei unangenehmer als der Geruch. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, wir könnten nach der […] ersten Nacht das Zimmer wechseln, müssten uns aber selbst um den Transport unseres Gepäcks kümmern. Guter Service sieht für mich anders aus... Vom Ausgang C3 der Shinjuku-Sanchome Station braucht man noch ungefähr 10 Minuten zu Fuß, was nach einem anstrengenden Tag sehr lästig sein kann. In der Nähe gibt es verschiedene Restaurants und Convinience Stores, aber es ist eine sehr ruhige Umgebung. Der Blick aus dem Fenster im 7. Stock war auch sehr toll, nachdem wir es geschafft hatten, dass Fenster mehr als 10 Zentimeter zu öffnen. Insgesamt war es in Ordnung, aber beim nächsten Mal würde ich mich für ein anderes Hotel entscheiden. Mehr

You get what you pay for. Small room, as to be expected for Tokyo and this price range, but manageable (at least for short single occupancy). During the summer, it might be a drawback that the aircon is quite noisy, even on the lowest setting, so I had to switch it off altogether when I went to sleep.

Great Hotel. FREE unlimited internet was a great feature for me to feel that I am not away from my family. The room was nice and clean and welcoming every time I come in. Staffs are very good. They were still helpful even though they are trying to understand what I say. I would stay in this hotel if I visit Tokyo again.

This hotel, was not a 5 star hotel, but it served its purpose. It was nested in a safe area and was only a block or two away from the main city action of Shinjuku. Everything from food to shopping, to the train station is right down the street. I highly recommend this hotel. Staff was friendly and quick.

Very basic, very small room but very cheap. The main problem was noise and the tiny bathroom. Location good. It was good to have a kettle, refrigerator and it had a bed.

The hotel is about 15min walking distance from the metro station, a bit too far after long shopping days but we find out later a very closed exit (East Exist - E2) through shopping malls and tunnels, it make the walk eaiser and faster. We went by taxi from Shinjuku station and thought that it was isolated. Then we went for a walk and realised that it was really central. Shinjuku has great nightlife, go to 3rd avenue.

Great in terms of cleanliness, facilities, and proximity to convenience stores, a couple restaurants, and Tokyo metro, but a good 10 to 15 minutes walk from the major commercial area of Shinjuku and the JR Shinjuku station. Some of the staff were almost completely unable to converse in English. Worth the stay if reasonably priced.

It's cheap, so you shouldn't be expecting too much! The housekeeping people kept the room looking good everyday and the vending machines offered both Coke and Pepsi products.

Just what I needed, no more no less. Bed, and bathroom. Wish there were more english speakers though. Got kind of lost finding it but it really isn't too far from the Shinjuku station. ProTip: type hotel on your iPhones map app and search through the pins.

Not the best immediate area, but it's really close to the awesome Golden Gai and Kabukicho areas, and not too far from Shinjuku and all it's bright lights. The room was lovely and our view was fantastic (10th floor, room 3024). The couch in the room was a really nice extra, and the wi-fi in room was divine. Some of the staff could have been a little more helpful and friendly, but they were nice and we got the basic info we needed. I would recommend this to a couple, family, single, young or old. However not being able to phone international from the room was a real pain, it's something you expect in a motel like this and I found it quite irritating and annoying having to call from the lobby (couldn't gush as much as I wanted to about the fabulous Tokyo!) Stayed in a room with two single bed facing Shinjuku city. The room is basic; two beds, 32 inch LCD tv, desk, mini fridge, 2 chairs and a small table. Being. Not far from the subway station but instructions to hotel were poor. Took us a while to find it as it is tucked away in a side street. Best to get off at Shinjuku Gyoemmae subway station and walk 10 mins. We got off at Shinjuku train station as per hotel instructions and was a nightmare to navigate towards the hotel. This is a little bit of a walk from the JR line and I would recommend take a cab with directions to the place printed in both english and japanese so the cab driver could figure out where he's going. The cab fare around there is actually pretty cheap. Shinjuku is a good place to hang around the bars but remember there's a cover charge at almost all […] of them. My husband and I had a lovely experience with this hotel. We were afraid the bed would be too small from the picture given, as I've stayed in Japan before and know the beds are typically small, but it was perfect size for us (and we are not small people). The room, while a bit small, was again perfectly sized to keep our luggage and relax comfortably […] in. The room was clean and well-stocked; in the shower is a dispenser for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash which are all high-quality. Also given are disposable combs, safety razors, and tooth brushes with tooth paste. The staff were courteous. I was told via review that they knew no English, and this is not true; maybe not fluent, but well-versed enough to handle check-in, check-out, and typical requests. The breakfast buffet is alright. You have to buy a ticket from the front desk. We got a discount for doing it the night before. Check it out if you want a big breakfast that is largely traditional Japanese, as there aren't really any breakfast places nearby besides convenience marts. The one thing I might warn for is LOCATION - this hotel is a 25 or so minute walk from the Shinjuku train station, and a ways from the local Shinjuku sanchome subway. If you are a walker, this place is good for you. If you need a place near the trains, you probably want somewhere else. Mehr

Great hotel - problem was the address took us to the wrong location using google maps. The area looks like an industrial estate - but not far from the Shinjuku-Gyeon metro line which was good. If you arrive at JR Shinjuku station, take a taxi to the hotel. About ¥800-900. Hotel is a bit far from the station to walk WITH luggage. Once you check-in and drop your bags off, take the area map from the front desk and explore the area on foot. It's about a 15-20 walk back to JR Shinjuku station. You'll find everything from dinning to shopping, drinking […] to entertainment from your walk in the area. Please note that this is a no-frills hotel. It does it's job in providing a roof over your head, a bed and hot running water. Staff speaks enough English and checkout is at 10a. They will hold your luggage if you have a later flight to catch. Not glamourous, but a good, clean, no frills place to get some sleep. Very convient access to the Shinjuku Ni-Chome neighborhood, and the Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden.

Single occupents get the best veiw at the hotel. The rooms for singles are very small but because they are located on the back corners of each floor you get two views of the shinjuku area. Most of the staff speaks English and are very kind. They have a lot of AulstraiIians and Americans staying there. They serve a buffett 3 times a day. reception staff good but lack basic english language. hotel quite far from Shinjuku station takes good 30 min to walk each way. rooms lack WIFI as advertised in Expedia, their broadband service is hard to connect and very slow if you succeed to connect. TV does not have bilingual system so its all in japanese. their breakfast is quite expensive.

The hotel is within walking distance to Shinjuku gyoemmae station on the Marunouchi Line - subway is easy to use and one can get anywhere with transfers. Hotel was a bit far from the Shinjuku JR station. Best way to get there is to catch the subway to "Shinjukugyoenmae" subway station (2 stops from Shinjuku). Follow the exit signs at the station, I think it was exit 1. Once you exit the station, cross the road, walk up about 7 blocks (until you reach the big intersection), cross the road and keep walking […] straight, then turn right at the small intersection. You should see Tokyo Business Hotel on the left, keep walking further up and Listel is located on the right hand side. Jag och en vän bodde i ett twin-room. Ganske så trångt rum för 2 vuxna. Litet badrum, men helt okej. Lite för varmt på rummet, trots AC på max. L’hôtel est un peu vieillot, la moquette de la chambre est très tachée, le ménage est bien fait et tous les jours, pas d'odeur de tabac même dans une 'chambre fumeur', le WIFI gratuit dans les chambres est un vrai plus, l’hôtel est assez proche de tout mais prévoir une bonne carte pour le trouver.
