Das Hotel bietet sehr schöne und gut eingerichte Zimmer mit ein sehr reichhaltiges Frühstück. Das Personal ist sehr hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Man mekrt das das Hotel professionell geführt wird. Ich denke, dass ich selbst als General Manager eines internationalen Hotels mir einen kritischen Urteil leisten kann.

Alpa City Suites Hotel liegt ca. am halben Weg zwischen dem Flughafen und dem Zentum vom Uptown Cebu City, nicht gerade 1a Lage aber auch nicht schlecht. Daür ist 1a das Service, die Sauberkeit und vor allem die Freundlichkeit und Kompetenz des Personals. Die Zimmer sind der Kategorie entsprechend ebenso wie die Gemeinschaftsräume nicht gerade geräumig […] aber bestens ausgestattet, vom Haarföhn, Kühlschrank, Minibar, Mikrowelle bis zum grossen TV Flachbildschirm alles da. Auch der Breitband Internetanschluß auf jedem Zimmer ist komfortabel. Das Frühstück übertrifft alle Erwartungen, die Küche generell ist ausgezeichnet. Das Haus bietet sicher mehr als man sich für das Geld allgemein erwarten darf und ist daher nur bestens zu empfehlen Mehr

FOR ME, THIS HOTEL IS MUCH BETTER THAN SOME HIGHER RANKIED HOTELS. THE ROOM WAS VERY LARGE, AND VERY NICE. I STAY IN A LOT OF HOTELS EACH YEAR, AND THIS ONE WAS EXCELLENT.

I would definitely stay here again when I go back to Mandaue. The staff was very friendly and the room very comfortable. Only minor complaint would be the restaurant. Overall experience was quite good. I would recommend this hotel. Small, clean hotel but location is kind of in a strange area, but taxis are cheap, only about 80 pesos to Ayala Mall and 70 pesos to SM mall. I just moved to Quest Hotel for comparison, and first impressions , Quest Hotel is in much better area, right next to Ayala mall, larger nicer hotel […] and rooms are more fashionable and comfortable..for similar price. The one thing I dont like at Quest so far is the ridiculous airport style security at the front door, Alpa City has a friendly secuirty guard but that's it, no hassles with you or your visitors. 3000 peso deposit upon checkin. And all of the people in our group were hit with bogus charges when we checked out - "missing towel fee", when towels were not missing (no one would steal those thin old towels); cleaning a "black stain" fee - not sure what it could be considering we were in the room only to sleep and shower..."worn out bathrobe", that […] we never even touchedalso they cheat the guests by not providing the higher priced rooms booked and prepaid (note all the other reviews). New hotel, so it is modern. Quite noisy - the roosters in the neighborhood are plentiful and noisy from 4am onward, so expect to be awoken. Location is in middle of nowhere - you will spend a lot on taxis to get to wherever you want to be, because you certainly wont be hanging out in the local neighborhood (it is residential nothingness). do your self a favor and get a better hotel near Ayala area - you'll be glad you did Mehr

Very comfortable and relaxed just the way you want things to be when you are staying in a hotel. Everything worked the way you would expect and the staff were very enthusiastic in their duties. My wife and I were both extremely happy with our stay at this hotel and have no need to look elsewhere if we need to stay in Cebu in the future :-)

Booked an executive suite, was given a standard room, incompatible with our booking. After a return call, we were moved.to the executive suite. Prior to check out we called front desk. Staff came up to check the mini-bar etc. We arrived at the front desk, requested a cab to the airport. Suddenly, presented with a bill for a can of coke and one bath […] robe 'condemned'. Asked to see the robe; we waited 15 minutes for that robe. The white robe appeared to show normal use around the neck. It was this that they pointed to as the single reason it was condemned. I took strong exception, the conversation continued among the staff in their Tagalog language. Suspecting a shake down, I asked for a translation of what was said. I was ignored. I offered to call the US Embassy for assistance, the conversation shifted to the coke. We were dismayed at the tone and continued demands. The difference is that the one can of coke found in the mini bar have the name Alpa suites marked on the side. We purchased our own cokes and apparently mixed ours with theirs, still the contents were identical. It was because of that difference; that we were being charged. After a total of 38 minutes we finally took a taxi from the door man. Suggestion: Hotel, post signs to guess to inspect the contents of the fridge, linens, robes slippers etc., prior to use. This was my 6 trip to Philippines, 4 to Cebu, this by far was the worst hotel experience ever encountered. Mehr

Most of the international brand in Cebu are really pricy for what it really are. I think is a good compromise between a city hotel and a good standard hotel, it's clean, the room is comfortable, staff is pleasant.

The shower was dirty and had mold and alot of hair on walls. Telephoned front desk for housekeeping or a change in room..no one showed. I deicded to leave hotel due to lack of housekeeping, dirty room. I was charged an extra night due to the "last minute" change. WOw, i am been charged for not wanting to stay in a dirty room??? A great choice for a stay in Cebu. A cheap 70 peso taxi ride to shopping at the Ayala Mall or to central Cebu. A safe hotel with nice clean rooms and friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was quite good and the menu changed daily. Will return on my next visit to Cebu.

Alpa Suites is located in a busy intersection and there are some conveniences around. The hotel itself is modern and rooms are spacious and clean. Air conditioners were cold and water was hot, something not always a certainty in Philippines. I would recommend anyone that wanted a longer stay to use this modern and nice condotel!

Extremely well presented and looked after hotel, rooms we have stayed in have always been excellent (deluxe rooms), rooms cleaned every day and well stocked, hair dryer in bathroom for ladies, large fridge for keeping drinks cool and microwave for re-heating food if needed. This is in my opinion one of the best hotels in Cebu for the money, yes there […] are better but they are also twice the price!! This gem is only cheap because of the location, but taxi's are very inexpensive in Cebu, so it doen't cost much to get around. Great hotel and very accomodating front desk clerk. All staff are polite, from the security guard to the chamber maids. Good selection of buffet b/fast, though I guess it need to serve american b/fast selection. Rooms are clean and aircon is cold. Its a new hotel located not very far from the CBD(10mins) away by taxi. I liked virtually everything about the hotel. It´s quite new, the rooms are big and comfortable, the breakfast buffet is big and of very good taste. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The surrounding area is not appealing but its location is very convenient. Lots of taxi available and most know where the hotel is located. Definitely will return again- value for money with a very unsual and pleasant room set up - medium size fridge, microwave and sink and an aircon that works very well. A basket of small tit bits to eat and selection […] of soft drinks in the fridge- nice touch and convenient if one is hungry- we didn't use it but nice to know its there. Nice attention to details like the wooden hangers and a large safe deposit large enough for a laptop. We arrived early at the hotel 5am and we had 4 rooms booked- they were nice enough to allow early check-in at 9am- not many hotels will do that free of charge Excellent wi-fi - fast enough for 6 people to be online at the same time- though only available at the lobby Breakfast - quite good selection of hot/cold dishes with soup and egg station. Also its good that they change a little every day- gets kind of boring if its the same stuff daily on our last day saw the construction for new ayala mall near the hotel- even better Summary- very good, above ave for it level, very clean and enjoyable to stay Mehr

Much nicer accomodations than we expected, everything seemed new, including bathroom/shower facilities, air conditioning, flatscreen TV, electronic roomkeys, storage cabinets, kitchenette w/sink and large fridge - very unusual for rooms in this price category. Free breakfast of exceptionally good quality and variety of items, including delicious omelets […] on request! Staff went out of their way, not only to being attentive to our every table need at meals, but also to converse with us and show genuine interest in our being there. Lunch and dinner selections are EXCELLENT - I highly recommend their sinigang and beef ribs kaldereta - the best I've ever had! The hotel employs a very friendly, well-organized and well-trained staff, which made the overall experience very satisfying - we would not consider staying anywhere else next time we visit Cebu, which we do about every year or so. Also very close (P65 taxi ride) to SM shopping mall, which has many nice restaurants, beauty salons, Starbucks, every kind of shopping experience - a destination in itself! Also, they have a clean, late-model, air conditioned van service to the airport for hotel guests - only P500 - much better than a taxi! I can't say enough good things about Alpa City Suites, but the 5 stars should say enough; you can probably find a fancier hotel in Cebu, if that's what you're looking for, but if competent, friendly service, first-class cleanliness, convenient location (P65 taxi to SM), quality of food service and attention to detail and abundant security are important, […] you will not be disappointed.
