sehr schönes Hotel mit sehr gutem kontinentalem Frühstück , der Homosassa State Park ist hübsch angelegt , man kann sich aber kaum länger als 2Stunden dort aufhalten

Well, I stayed at this property and it's sister property in Lecanto, Fl. This hotel was well kept and the staff was extremely helpful. I met the master chef of breakfast, a sweet gal by the name of Mary. She has been working in the kitchen since the hotel opened 5 years ago. I read the reviews about this hotel before I went on vacation and I heard so […] much about Mary, just had to meet her. I talked with her for a while one day and she grew up on the east coast and her first job at 13 was in a cafe. No wonder why the breakfasts were so good. fresh biscuits (soft) and the eggs (scrambled one day, mini omelets the next) gravy and sausages were good as well. These folks did a great job catering to the early manatee tour trips - they put breakfast out early for us, and gave us a late checkout so we could shower afterward. Very clean and comfortable.

Our family of five stayed in a suite. The room was awesome, the food was good, and it was close to our destination. We couldn't have asked for anything better! We would definitely stay here again.

Stayed over a Thursday and Friday night for a dive trip with American Pro Divers. Very close to dive shop and great restaurants (like Cody's). Very clean and friendly, will stay here again on next trip.

The layout of the rooms was backward. The door to the bathroom was hung backwards and the way to turn on the shower was difficult to find. Holiday inn express needs a new architecture team. The parking lot was also veer small.

Hotel was decorated nicely. The room was very nice, beds real comfortable. Front desk personnel very helpful and pleasant . Breakfast in am was very good and no cost to me!

Efficient check in and out....room was very clean and well kept. The only issue I had was the bathroom lite and fan go on simultaneously, so I knew when the folks next door got up! Beds were comfy and temp system was good as well. Staff very accommodating. Would recommend paving the driveway out to the side street. Better access to the busy main road […] for left hand turns. We stayed on a first floor room. The ceilings had to be 20' and the room was huge!! Our only disappointment was the breakfast.There was a large selection, but no fresh fruit and the food seamed like cafeteria grade. This hotel was lovely. We were in town to swim with the manatees and this hotel exceeded my expectations. It was clean, the room was decently sized as was the bathroom. The breakfast buffet included hot foods. I would definitely recommend a stay here.

Booked this as a quick stop to swim with the Manatees.From the walking in the foyer to checking out this hotel was fantastic! Clean well maintained wonderfully friendly staff nothing was any trouble at all.Amanda checked us in and Immediately made us feel right at home. We had an early swim booked and asked directions .we had resigned ourselves to missing […] brekky as we knew it was well before the advertised service time and the swim company had donuts arranged,,,,,I am Aussie not used to donuts for breakfast,,Amanda was confident that the lady that did breakfast would no doubt have it ready early ,,,,,sure enough 45 mins before it was meant to be ready, Mary ( a very spry over 35 year old lady) had it all out ready with a selection that covered all tastes( no Vegemite ,,,take your own!!!) best brekky we had on our 4 week tour! The 2 nd morning breakfast was just as good with another lovely lady serving,,,, I did not get her name,but again very nice and friendly .If you go to crystal river stay here! The front desk staff was friendly. The room was extremely clean and very well stocked. The mini fridge and microwave was very useful. Overall I (we) were very pleased with the entire hotel. The only potential complaint would be that the beds were a little on the hard side, but not too bad.

Needed to check out late as was going swimming with the manatees. Staff was very accommodating. We asked for good places to eat on the water. Again staff was helpful. One staff member even gave us a tip-that day if we bought a used or new book, we could use it as an entry fee into Ellie Schiller Homosassa Springs Wildlife State Park.
